The first time i watched 'Catching fire' i didn't realize it, but watching it again it is obvious that Cinna knew that that dress would be his end

well in the book it was the purpose. he was contributing to the rebellion he was apart of it all. cinna had a book of designs for katniss for when district 13 would rescue her. they held her designers hostage and effie actually was never even in the last book. thirteen had people in the districts for the rebellion. you should definitely read the books for more insight on the movies. their always better than the movies.
also another thing in catching fire it tells you how haymitch won his games. he one the second quarter quell. definitely an interesting part to read in the book :)

i think it’s the reason there isn’t a stable or typical parent/child relationship shown. peeta’s mum literally said to him that she thought katniss MIGHT come home but not him before his first games which just shows she’s not exactly heartbroken, she’s not mourning the loss of a son just a roommate, just a friend 🤷♀️

Peeta literally loved Katniss so much that the first thing he did after the rule was revoked was to tell Katniss to kill him so that she could win and go home. Without hesitation.
Right? The fact that in the book, Katniss heard the time and assumed peeta was going to turn on her because he pulled out the knife to throw it away so she was ready to shoot him and then felt disgusted by herself 😭

You could see it in Katniss's face when she heard Finnick's screams when he was getting eaten alive by the lizard mutts. Just remember what happened to Cato in the first movie.
25:10 just makes me sad. Katniss was literally going to end her life, and Peeta, dispite all that he went through, made sure she didn't. She was so angry and upset that he didnt let her, and he was just...shocked
If you readied in the book you will find it more sadness.. she put it on her mouth but before she take it he put his hand in her mouth and get it out. She shouted said " let me die ". He said " i can't " then they take it back and they looked to each other... That made me really cry

The point of them being allies is that they both has strengths the other doesn’t and both of them together is what helps them win. As you said, it’s why they’re the power couple!

i think that's kinda.... wrong? like one of the small, but very important details is how katniss love music and singing but denies it to her as it reminds her to much of her father. And before he died when shhe first went to school Peeta first fell in love with her when she sang and all the birds stopped their singing and listened.
I feel like it would be much better if the echo of birds was offset from her singing.

At first, Katniss says that she refuses to have children. Maybe it’s why she’s so stand-offish when the movie begins.
I don’t think anybody in their right mind would want to have kids in a world that has the hunger games. That’s why there were no functional parent child relationships in these movies, none of the sane people were choosing to have kids.
She refused to have children because she didn't want to see them suffer like she did under the rule of the Capitol and the threat of the games.
Changing her mind means she finally feels safe and optimistic about the future. It's the completion of her arc.

I think another important scene was when Snow killed all the children.
Except it wasn't Snow, it was Coin who ordered the bombing of the capital, to ensure that the people of ALL districts would hate Snow enough to let her take power. They should have included the vote that they held, to have one last "symbolic" hunger games, using the capital's children. Katniss agrees, on condition she is the one to execute Snow, knowing that it would be the perfect opportunity to shoot Coin, who would have been worse than Snow.

Catching Fire is the best movie. They calmed down the violence to keep the PG13 rating in all the movies.
Seeing and hearing President Snow gives you a whole feeling to the storyline.

Teringat akan motivasi dari jiwa bertahan dan menyerang dalam hunger game, dulu saya seakan ditertawakan akan apa yang saya sampaikan bahwa dalam kurun waktu satu tahun, pendapatan saya sekian, banyak yang mencemooh dan meragukan akan hal itu, namun setelah saya bungkam ajakan pendengki, hasilnya bisa dilihat sendiri, 100jt lebih boskuh, dulu di awal-awal masih menjumpai kegagalan dikarenakan masih menggubris gangguan dari pendengki, namun setelah gangguan tersebut tidak saya hiraukan, ajakan pendengki saya acuhkan, hmm... hasilnya lumayan, bisa di lihat sendiri, itulah janji saya terhadap Deni, bahwa saya bisa keluar dari lingkaran nya meskipun menghadapi ancaman dari berbagai pihak, gak ngurus dan gak wedi, ancaman polisi tai itu saya anggap ludah yang tidak perlu ditanggapi, tidak perlu diwadahi, di lewati aja, selesai.
Plenty of hospitals went down in the past couple of months (Nov~Dec 2023) yet the fire is not catching. Story is inspiring but it is just story. Sadly the reality is more cruel.
