I’m a very novice quilter, and believe I could do this! One suggestion: hang the completed table runner on the wall behind you (temporarily replacing the small quilt) so we can use it for reference as you construct the runner. I love the neutrals!
I thought that, too. They usually do have the final project hanging in view.

Happy New Year!! I see you have a new Bernette 79. If you'll engage needle down when you stop sewing the needle will land down and the foot will go to pivot mode (hover above your work). Great feature I can't do without.
Love that you did a couple different colorways.
Can't wait to make one.
I love this so much!!! will do this in sage and white!!!
What a great idea. I loved seeing the other color ways as well. Thanks so much!!
I noticed the new machine immediately too! And a very happy new year from the Netherlands, everybody!!!
Thank you Misty! This is a beautiful runner! With another block or two, it would make a lovely bed runner! The neutrals are soothing, but I like assorted colors, as well. Enjoy your new machine! Sometimes it’s nice to have more than a straight stitch!
I’ve missed you and glad you are well and starting 2024 with such a sweet runner!! Glad to see that you have a Bernina machine. You will LOVE it!! Looking forward to all your talents as we all ‘ease’ through. ‘24
Happy New Year to the Doan family! I hope you like the new machine, I love my Berninas!
Hey Misty! Another gorgeous yet simply elegant project. This block would make a lovely quilt!!! Thanks a bunch.
New Year’s blessings to you and MSQ family….my word for 2024 is blessings.
Your 'square-in-a-square blocks turned out perfect!, love the whole quilt, thank you and Happy New Year to you and your family, Misty.
Glad to see you pitting the peels onto the 10" square and then trimming down to 9.5". I put them on 5" squares one time and promised myself that I would never sew those 5" squares together again. Love the colored blocks. I'm not a big fan of neutrals. 😊
I’m new to quilting and I appreciate how you explain each step. I’m looking forward to making this runner.
Have a blessed New Year and enjoy it with “ease!”
Congratulations on the Bernina!!! Happy New Year!!!
Very nice design, clean and fresh. My little table won’t accommodate a runner but the single block table topper will work nicely. Loved the different color ways. Need to add this project to my ever-growing list.
Love it a lot! Thank you!
Thank you for all your videos and time taken to create the UA-cam’s. Hoping 2024 EASE will help you. Hugs
Happy 2024 to you and your family! 🎉 LOVE the pattern and tutorial! 😊 May your year be blessed with EASE!
Happy New Year to you and your family!
Happy New Year to you, Misty! This is a beautiful table runner and so is your new machine! You must have been a very good girl this past year.
I'm not a fan of neutrals so I was happy to see the other colors. But even in neutrals, I have to admit it's beautiful. Such a pleasure to watch you create things. Happy New Year!
Beautiful runner, Misty! Thank you for another excellent tutorial!!
I did not know about this method to do the orange peel! Genius!!! Definitely going to make this one!
Great Neutral table runner. Thank you for all the amazing projects all year. Happy "Ease" 2024. Lots of Hugs and blessings to you and the family!
Happy New Year!
Adorable runner. I loved the neutrals that you chose, but then seeing it in the different color ways was fun too! Happy New Year 2024!
Loved this project. My daughter like neutrals so this will be great
Misty, you have such a great design aesthetic. Or maybe mine is just very similar to yours because I love everything you make and I’m a huge fan of your show. I wish you and your family all the best blessings in the new year! ❤️
Beautiful table runner. It is crisp and clean! 😊
Love your new color scheme and layout! Glad you're back.
Nice job, Misty. Think this will look very nice on dining room table.
I like the serenity of it. Thank you!
I love this runner!!! It's a winner!!! Good job!!!
Beautiful table runner Misty. Happy New Year ❤
Happy New Year to all of you. Congratulation for the new machine you have. I got a new Janome/elna excellence 782, I love it. This runner is really pretty, but unfortunately I have no place for a runner, but I think it's easy to turn it into a table topper. Thank you for charing this pattern with us. Love from Germany ❤
This is so pretty! I can’t wait to try. I really love the neutrals! Happy New Year to all!! 🎉🎆
HAPPY NEW YEARS MISTY LOVE THE TABLE RUNNER. YOU GOT A NEW MACHINE.
Thanks for showing the other color ways because I’m one of those that’s not a fan of neutrals! I was already thinking as I watched the video of what colors I’m going to use rather than neutrals!
Love this tutorial and runner! Happy New Year!🎊

So beautiful thank you happy new Year
Very nice project. Thank you for sharing. I wish you a healthy, happy and inspiring new year. 🥰
Happy 🎉 New Year Sweetpea!! I loved this project and all the beautiful variations. I was thinking I'd love to try it in shades of blues and white... 😂 not new for me. But I loved seeing what you've done. Thx as always for sharing your wonderful talents and inspiration. Bless you 🙏
Happy new year. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
For me all these fabrics in the brown/ tan/beige don’t appeal but - I can see this in the grey grouping for a low- key runner (which my DIL would like!). I haven’t seen the whole video so I’m looking forward to seeing this in other colorways! Misty and Jenny and Natalie always have such wonderful projects!!!!
I’m just about finished my runner ,
Happy New Year 🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉
Awesome tutorial....thanks for sharing
Happy New Year
Wow love this ! Thanks for sharing ❤happy new year
You got a new machine!!
Ahhh I noticed a new machine too….hope it was a Christmas gift……lol
Your tutorials are so good …..and love to see them…….happy new year to you and the MSQC family.😊
Great video
Cut a slit in the fusible before sewing it to the orange peel fabric.
Yes, I was going to say the same 😊
Nice color choices. I'm seeing a lot of the taupe color being used/offered, almost as if it's the color of the year in some other company's (not Kona's) scheme.
Happy New Year Misty!
Oh i love your table runner with the neutrals. Any suggestion for an easier centre squre. I dont have the orange peel template and no experience with applique. Thank you!
I like that mat! Is it new or am I just now noticing! 😊
How do you like your new machine? I am thinking of getting one. Also like the look of the cutting mat. Great table runner🥰
hi misty! what pattern is on the wallhanging behind you? it’s so beautiful!😊
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024.
Very nice! Would you be able to do the same pattern on both side with different colors sonit would be reversible?
22:22 what are the measurements of the orange peel template
I love your new sew machine. Looks it’s a Brother. I would like know which brand this machine you have. I’m enjoy watching your videos. Happy New Year’s to you and to all your family.
Bernette by Bernina
What line are the jelly rolls off the side of your right? They would be perfect for my Valentine quilt.
How do you like using the bernette machine? Misty, what do you like for each of the machines? Nice to have a longer extension ☺
Hello Misty! Could you please tell me the name of the quilt pattern in your lap with you holding a book that shows up in your tutorial slides? Thank you in advance! I think it is beautiful!!
Like the new rotary cutter. Does anyone know what brand it is?
It’s Missouri Star brand
Can you make a quilt with this block
What size orange peel pattern did you use
Those single different colored blocks would look great hanging in my front door inside!!! We do not have a porch or anything protecting our outside front door so I don’t hang anything that could be damaged, fade, etc. there (wish we had a porch😟😟😟).
Did you get a new machine
I was wondering the same thing
Me too!
The Babylock Accomplish that she usually sews on is a straight stitch only machine. So it doesn't have the applique stitches that she used on the petals. I don't know if that is the only reason she is using a different machine, but this one seems to sew nicely!
I was wondering the same thing, it looks like a Pfaff to me.
It says bernette on the front of the machine
Ivdont 'get' tablebrunners. What do they actually DO?
For looks/decorating
New machine?
Why don't you post the supply list anymore? That's how I order from you.
It’s listed
Wouldn't it be easier to cut a slit in your stablizer before you sew it. Just a suggestion.
Love the pattern, but for demonstration purposes it would have been easier to see if you'd used more contrasting colors!
Welcome to become my colleague. ❤😘🌹 Have a nice day
I don't have a fancy sewing machine.
My family loves chicken dumpling soup for Christmas Eve. Our additions to the soup is sour cream and dill weed. Served with homemade dinner rolls and honey butter. The Lutheran churches ( Scandinavian) we have Lutifisk suppers at churches throughout the region, please don't do any videos on how to cook lutefisk. -- it’s awful! The lefsa is good though.
They could give you a better macine.😢😊
I don't think I like it either.
🎊 Happy New Year 🎆🎊🎈
Happy New Year
What is the name of the Wall Hanging behind you on the wall? Do you have a tutorial for it? Thanks for great tutorials!
