One of mine too bro. I went back and forth with whether to do the studio track and Aynsley or the live version with Tommy. From what I remember, I tried both and ended up liking the sound of the studio cut but there are Aldridge licks all over this cover. And some made up licks LOL! Man, I cannot fucking thank you enough for the tremendous support and kindness dude.

I just checked out some songs by Whitesnake… When you don’t hear certain songs for 30+ years… I kind of forgot that they did have some songs that I was familiar with: Is This Love and Here I Go Again! Wow, they really had some awesome effing music! 👍🥁🏹
They have a number of tunes and every single one you mentioned - those are the same ones I would call my "go to" tunes LOL!!!! Is this Love in particular is such a chill and melodic tune. Coverdale had such a massively powerful voice - wow!!!!

Hey Martin! I hadn't listened back to this one in a while. So from what I remembered - and my memory is suspect 😂😂😂 - I did this after hearing / seeing a live from London Whitesnake clip on here. I tried to incorporate the Tommy Aldridge live feel but not ignore the Aynsley Dunbar studio track. I think they are both beyond great. With that said, it's time for another Whitesnake tune. Any suggestions? Appreciate you!!!

Damn the first time I ever noticed DW drums was the Motley 94 record with Tommy Lee cuz I knew there was something different beyond his playing on the album and sure enough man do those Drums sound so clear,not as muffled as a lot of em but Awesome bro,hopefully ur in a good band or making some good music bro,cuz ur ABSOLUTELY good enough man,awesome brotha!!

I credit Tommy for making it look cool enough that I figured I'd give drums a shot as a kid and when he moved over to DW, they immediately got my attention. I couldn't afford them for YEARS though bro. But, I finally was able to trade for my first kit in the late 90's and I've never looked back. I loved the Tama kit I had for a long time before that as well but DW just offered such punch, tuning range, attack - I loved 'em on the spot. No band but thanks so much for asking! I'm just on here playing to songs I enjoy hoping other folks are entertained or enjoy 'em as well buddy. Again, my sincere thanks Ray!

After 10+ years of touring with whomever, trying to land a deal with bands, blah, blah - I got to where I was pretty damn broke so a job had to come into the equation and unfortunately I walked away from drumming entirely for quite some time. Anyways, thanks so much for even asking man!

I meant to get another one from this album done this year but looks like I'll have to get to that in '23. Any suggestions? This one was a blast in that the studio track with Aynsley Dunbar and then there's all of the live clips with Tommy Aldridge. That's a hell of a way to be able to research a song. I wanna say it was Aldridge's Bday not long ago. That dude has been a massive influence to say the least. Hi there! First, thanks so much for commenting! No, not really. I've done a significant amount of touring but nothing recently. Tribute bands, cover bands, originals here & there, etc. I just always tried to play and put on a good show from the time I started. And anymore I try to carry that same mindset over here. Same thing as live - some weeks are better than others LOL! Just wanting to entertain. As far as records or tracks, I've been a hired hand so I feel pretty safe in saying no on that too but to be totally honest, I don't do much follow up after my work is done. So something "might" have charted somewhere but it wouldn't have been any well known act. But thank you so much for even thinking that and so sorry for the long response.

@@mosespatton4979 Of course not! The one that toured the most was called Mr. Crowley. This would've been 1995 through 1999 give or take. Most of the touring was midwest / East coast but a fair number of runs through Texas and a handful along the West coast. Then "some" touring with an original band called Twist. Good chance it was all before your time LOL!

Wow, this is the first one where I have to criticize something. For my taste the snare is too loud. The playing is mad over the top. Especially the double bass work. Don´t kill me. Still in love with your work.
Dude, last thing I'd do is flip out. All of these covers in '19 - I was still trying to find a go to sound so we agree. I would like to re-release this one. For real. That snare and kick are both way louder than I'd prefer. Plus I didn't blend them properly. Both are too harsh. Playing is all I got to stand on LOL! Always know man, comment whatever you want on here bro!
