We may give officers shit sometimes, but every once in a while you find one that you want to follow.
Had only a few officers. One was deployed, he knew the right way to motivate, (not the b.s. cringe way). Next officer was a boot, always telling you that you're doing a good job and thanks you for everything even for taking a shit. My last, was a fresh mustang. Prior scout sniper, that guy just knew. Best one yet.
@@nathans.3618 my first platoon CO was the single greatest Lt I’ve ever had the chance of serving under. I’ve never been to combat, but I would follow that man anywhere he would lead me. He moved over to weapons platoon and we got a new Lt who is a smart guy, but kinda weird. Idk bout him yet.

When we saw him at Phoenix we all planned on making jokes about friend no.3 delivering the flag until we saw our friend blue as fuck barely moving in a medical bed, that shit shut down what we thought would be a hilarious joke.
