Never done a crown Vic suspension, but I’ve owned plenty of straight axle and twin I-beam Fords, and had no complaints about handling, as long as kingpins, and bushings were good. If you ever want to use the truck like a truck, the stock suspension is fine. If I was building that truck, which I’m not, I would have left that TIB In that truck, since somebody did a nice job installing it. Use the other stock frame for your “hot rod”. Just my opinion, have at it!
Generally do but someone had installed ttb front suspension and it wasn’t set where it was supposed to be and these old ford come factory with the front wheels about 1.5 to 2” further back than they should be
I just subscribed and am thinking of doing a crown vic swap on my 55 ford so I appreciate everything I have watched today. I have the old straight original axel on my truck. Can I virtually pick up any crown vic and do this? Thanks guys
@Resurrection Auto the coyote drive train is more valuable and I think, is a better option. The LS cost less, but I feel like it takes too much value from a true Ford. LS engines have a better chance of a failure rate as well.

Could you stand still with that frigen camera?
Worst 4:30 seconds of my life...
Mark the front axle centers on the frame before removing the body.

I've installed a dodge front end in a 1953 f100. It was fairly simple
LS in a Ford? Sin!
I would do the crown vic front end and drop a 4.6 or 5.0 Coyote in it

What year is the crown Vic
TIB suck! Straight axles are ok, look cool, this crown vic looks like a good swap! I have a 53 F100 panel truck.
Why are you installing a LS and NOT A COYOTE?
$500 vs $5000
