My FAVORITE outdoor tool. It’s tough as hell, looks BA, and handles almost every cutting task I need. My only issue is sharpening. I had to buy a bench grinder and order three different wheel stones to get a good edge. My friends always want to “try it out” whenever we go camping or hunting. I actually found mine in a pawn shop for $150. If you can afford one, get it!

Hey Tac, I don't think the geometry is the main problem, when batoning. I believe it's because the blade weighs so much more than the baton. Kind of like a small person trying to push a stuck pick up truck. A big person can push a stuck compact car. A great video of a superb chopper :)

The mass of the baton is much less than the cleaver so the collision would not move the knife. It's kinda like how a small car cannot push a huge semi truck when the car crashes into it.
I wish you would do a review on The Deuce 2...It looks sick! I've been on the fence about the Reaver Cleaver and The Deuce 2. They both seem like great EDC tools. But, nobody has reviewed the latter as of yet. At least someone with some skill using it outdoors. They are pricey swords. I don't wanna regret my purchase.

Hey Tac, you should try the Aranyik extended cane machete. Very similar design and specs but only $35. I think it could really give this thing a run for it's money (they're even in the same steel)

I I was thinking about a few new part/tests you can add to your normal review vids if you would like that I dont see any other youtubers doing. I wonder if on tools like this one you could use the blunt end to drive nails into wood or spikes into the ground or dig a hole for a water well or bury a body? because if your out in the wilderness and thats all you have with no other tools? Lets say your off the grid for years running from the cops or after the zombie apocalypse you might want to build a home or a permanent shelter not just a crap temporary shelter or bury your friends that didn't survive
Tac, the Cleaver is heavier than your baton. It is a heavy tool. It is why wooden stakes are used on vampires. If the stakes were made of steel they would be very difficult to drive in. If your Cleaver was 1/2 the weight and length it would be much easier to baton.
dude I love zombie tools I have the Karambit that they make that thing is a beast a lot of people said they didn't like it because it was so heavy but that is the reason that I like it because you can put so much force into each one of you cuts and it just feels good in the hand and for a Karambit its stabs awesomely because it has a partially sharpened spine with almost a backward tanto style tip it's hard to explain but go check out the website every zombie tools I never got 2 handle are just so damn awesome

Too expensive. A better buy would be the Condor Dadao War Sword @ $80 USD. I have done more with that than in this video and had no failures or issues. Not even needed to re-sharpen.
