Hi, in relation to question number 4, I remember having studied that C, indicating 4/4 time signature, was not the initial of the word 'common', but rather indicated a semicircle, by its nature imperfect when compared to the full circle, indicating 3/4 time signature, considered the perfect time signature by musicians of Christianity, as it was associated with the holy trinity.
