How To Sing (GROWLS Part 1)

- This video is to introduce you and teach you how to sing growls. This is not Fry Screaming, or vocal rasp, this is vocal Growling which is used in the blues and pop and rock, as well as other genre's. This video should be practiced with caution to insure you don't hurt your voice. If it hurt at anytime in the practice, please do not push through, instead rest your voice and ask a vocal coach for guidance before you attempt again. But as long as you feel no vocal agitation, then you should continue to use this vocal exercise and you'll find more power in your voice.
I think these exercises are wonderful but can you please do these exercises with us and provide more explanation

awesome tutorial.....I was gon ask though, does the growl placement change as you switch registers?
Hi great question, the growl can be done at different pitch’s but does not move placements, you can be singing in different placements and add a growl but your growl will stay in same placement.
