And...back to flowerwoman? This year has been such a painful truth. No wins on all those goals she determined. Just some stages . She got weaker and Kopecky got stronger. We've seen it at Tour of Romandia (direct GC battle) and we have definitely seen it at the TdFF (Vollering by far not dominating on Alpe d'Huez as was expected) and of course at for instance Strade Bianchi and WC road race Zurich. Kopecky is a strong and smart winner, Vollering has become a weak and incompetent loser. Just picking up some crumbs Kopecky left for her. And the biggest issue of all for Vollering: she knows it. Even training very hard will only increase her problems: she has the worst result when her legs are really good. And wherever she goes start team issues. Everyone has seen that now. Not really a recommendation to offer her a contract is it.
