Also WWE doesn't care about the actual wrestling because why is Liv Morgan a world champion ? She hasn't had a banger match in years.

I suspected there might be a turn. But I was not prepared for how brutal and vicious it would be.
Mariah went from adorable to scarily evil in like two minutes. That was fantastic.

Man this was a fantastic episode of Dynamite. They will need to keep delivering episodes at that level or at least close to regain some of the viewership that they lost, but I can't say that they aren't on the right track.
Now that we have a clearer idea of the main matches included in the All In card, we should expect the ticket sales to start rising considerably. If they can reach 50K or around that mark it would be a great showing for the company (Yes, I know they had way more last year but they don't need 80K every single time for the event to be called a success, if you feel otherwise then cool for you or whatever).
Mercedes Mone is better as a heel, who knew...

Mariah and Toni has been the greatest female storyline in the history of AEW. It might be the second best storyline in AEW history next to the Hangman’s first title win… and I think there’s a solid argument it might be on par with that or better.
Hitting her with the shoe was so unhinged. Mariah did an incredible job with this turn. I thought she was so perfect in her expression and evilness

TK has done a fantastic job making Mariah May into a big deal quickly. She's the complete package; she has the in-ring skill, the charisma, and the look to be the face of the women's division some day (soon).

Agree with Dave in that the last few weeks of Dynamite have been some of the best wrestling shows you’ll ever see on tv. The in ring performances have always been excellent but AEW has thread storylines seamlessly throughout the recent shows and has had some truly memorable moments, like May turning on Storm last night.
What do you think changed? Like, who in creative has finally figured out how to make these shows make sense after being lost for so long? It’s almost as if the last 6 weeks have been written and directed by completely different people. So SOMETHING has changed, but I’ve got no idea what.
If this doesn’t cement Toni’s year as the greatest year in women’s wrestling history then I don’t know what could. All In will mark roughly a year since she started this arc and it’s more over than it ever has been. Not only has it been tremendous for herself but she has helped elevate a very very deserving star in Mariah May.
There you go AEW, just like that. Just keep building little by little you'll find out who the super stars are you'll need in no time.

You keep pointing out examples of where its obvious...what about all those where it isn't? You know those recaps where you talk about X showing up on a show and making a passive comment about how long its been since we've seen them. The crowd didn't explode for their return to tv and they might disappear shortly after.
If Maxxine Dupri, Karrion Kross, Julius Creed, Dragon Lee, and Akira Tozawa get injured for a year...will the fans really show that they care upon their return? Or will these performers be starting from scratch in a lot of ways?
This isn't me challenging the notion rather than attempting to present the same question in another light. The answer could be the same and I'll accept that.

Really glad Danielson and Hangman added blood to their regular wrestling match it took away the impact of this. AEW needs to learn when blood will add to a feud and not use it every match

Swerve and Danielson is going to be great but I honestly think Toni and Mariah should be the main event of All In. I honestly think this will be the biggest story going into Wembley and the ladies should close the show.

The difference in how NXT and AEW fans treat different wrestlers from different promotions stems from the Forbidden Door always being open year round.
ROH is different. AEW fans crap on RoH people coming up because it's mostly low to midcard AEW Roster.

Dave is because those wrestlers that they bring in people don’t know them you can TNA is in the USA market. Those other companies are overseas. They don’t know those wrestlers then not staying up at 1 o’clock in the morning watching those shows.
Dave if Joe Hendry walked into AEW the pop would be the biggest of any AEW wrestler currently. Don't pretend, Hendry is one of the most loved wrestlers, WWE brought him in cause he is a star without them. If AEW could have done the same people would have been ecstatic to have Joe in AEW

The main reason I hated ROH wrestlers on AEW shows is not because they couldn't work or were no good. I hated ROH wrestlers on AEW because they were used instead of AEW wrestlers that were ignored or never used. It told me they had no faith in people they signed to perform over what is a secondary promotion. There were probably reasons like trying to get a TV deal for ROH but I don't care about that, that's not why I watched AEW.
It's hard to compare to NXT because those people are largely trained in the WWE way to maybe go to the main roster. ROH are full-time wrestlers with years of experience but again, they aren't who I watched AEW for and that was what I hated most. When NJPW and CMLL wrestlers show up it's usually for a program with someone or because of an upcoming collaboration. ROH wrestlers randomly showing up did nothing for AEW.

The wrestling war has begun, WWE jumped out Monday night, with the return of Rhea Ripley, but on Wednesday night, AEW trumped the Rhea & Liv love story, with the diabolical heel turn and bloody beatdown of Toni Storm, 1up for Tony Khan, now WWE has to answer back Monday on Raw

Noooooo!!!!!! I don't want any more RoH on AEW. AEW must build up their own roster. I popped hard for the Jack Perry vs Marko Stunt match on Collision. Why? Because I'm invested in both of them even though its been forever since Stunt was on. That's what AEW did right when their ratings were good. They made us care about *all* their wrestlers, so much so that I still care for Stunt all this time later. I've gotten to the point now that I skip matches if one of them isn't a regular. It's just done way too often.
Btw you know who else I want to see? Fuego del Sol. I'd much rather see him wrestle in an AEW match than any non-AEW wrestler who's supposed to be big, but I've rarely if ever seen.

That's the audience these companies have fostered among the live crowds...what else can you say. It's possible the AEW viewers are more forgiving than the live audience just as its possible the NXT viewers are less forgiving.
Great moment 👍 Great storytelling not so much. Acting was decent though. Put two plain Janes in these roles you wouldn't have same impact. Mina, Toni & Maria have some of the highest ratings, especially with 18-34(I'm guessing males). A bit of an attitude era tactic.
When drones try to tell you AEW is no good, just remember we get dynamites like this.

Mostly true, but we expected it from MJF. Mariah and Toni have been friends since Mariah's been in the company and for her to turn that quickly on Toni was a surprise. I thought that Toni was going to be the bad one since she's been undercutting Mariah a lot. Thought it might have been Toni being jealous of Mariah's recent success.

It's not the best tv we'll see Dave. It's really gotten better but Dave is exaggerating.
It had tons of potential. But it was done weird and really dove into cheap heat. Like it's one thing if you have Brock Lesnar out there. But you can't tell me 4 or 5 people are so intimidated by someone that's 5'8" 135lbs, that they 'couldn't control' her. She should have dragged Toni back to the ring so she could keep swinging the belt at the ropes every time someone tried to get in the ring, so her being able to keep multiple people at bay makes sense. This, as opposed to everyone just standing there at the top of the ramp acting like any two of them couldn't end it in two seconds. Smearing the blood all over her face was just cheap heat. And then it was just too drawn out, her standing there holding Toni who is wide awake but not moving a muscle, and a group of people just standing around watching. I know you want to get some good still shots. But holy shit, hit her with final 'Knockout blow' to lay her out, have Toni's bloody face toward the crowd and stand over her or something, so it makes sense that she isn't moving. Then have her carted away on a stretcher. They are getting better every month. But it's the little things that they don't put the thought into that keeps segments like this from being truly great.

I get that most AEW fans don't give a shit anything makes sense as long as one person is bleeding and the other person is sucking blood out of their wound or whatever. Still didn't change the fact that selling that four people were simply helpless to stop, and totally intimidated by a 135lb woman with a shoe in her hand is fucking silly.

NXT fans embrace everyone because WWE doesn't let them see anyone from any other promotions until just recently, or until they steal them away (see Stephanie). AEW fans already get to see tons of talent from other promotions. The last PPV was entirely centered around embracing talent from other promotions. Do AEW fans get super pumped for all of the CMLL guys? Maybe not, but I don't feel like they crap on them. I guarantee you if Joe Hendry showed up on AEW, he'd get a huge pop. And that has nothing to say about WWE fans or AEW fans. He's just a star. So when WWE brings in a few stars from TNA, of course they get a big pop, and if AEW brings in a few established but older veterans from CMLL, of course they get a not as big pop. But let's not get it twisted. AEW has been bringing in stars from other promotions for a lot longer than WWE has. And many of those stars decided to stick around. Jay White, Okada, Ishii, Ospreay, Bandido, Rush, Shibata, Omega, Takeshita, Penta El Zero, Rey Fenix. AEW is the home built by welcoming in great talent from around the world. Compared to AEW, WWE has just had a few sleepovers.
