Fairly certain Michael Gross(burt) is still alive...the michael gross who died in 2015 was an art director who designed the logo for ghost busters. Long live Gummer!!!
Creeperkid Anims Not these African ones. It’s explained in this movie that they can release formic acid from their mouths to soften rock so they can chew through it. Or if it’s an underground rock wall, as you can see, they can just hi-jump over it.
The idea that the worms are spinning through the ground, rather than just shoving through it is somehow even freakier to me. I don't know why. Also, seeing something that probably weighs 5 tons launch itself out of the ground at me at 60kph from 10 feet away with a gaping toothy mouth is right up there with 'I don't want to be here' moments. LoL.
It actually makes sense if you think about it. Our drills in order to cut through dirt and rock spins to grind it up, Graboids specifically go through dirt not rock, until they produce shriekers they are 30 foot bags of pure muscles with a digging beak in front and hundred of spike like protrusions all around them that allows them to push through the dirt. So now you have a animal that has enormous amounts of strength capable of spinning and carving underground. This would also benefit in making them faster as the original older strain did simply shove its way through, the reason why they could never keep up with cars or most vehicles but why this strain can. Also the aggression is likely cause Graboids in africa were likely preyed upon or were going after faster smarter prey compared to the originals. .
@@Quetzalcoatl_Feathered_Serpent Yeah, it makes total sense. And the fact the african breed can detach its Grabbers to pack-hunt makes it even worse. I can't see graboids being preyed on by anything though, other than their own kind. Unless there's a beast we haven't seen yet that treats graboids the way a bird treats worms. I'm surprised the Cold Day in Hell movie didn't have one like the ice burrower worm from Subnautica, with a heated nose (now that we know they incorporate metals into their beaks) to burn through ice and permafrost. Maybe we'll see that one in a later movie if they go to Antarctica or something. LoL
@@Kalebfenoir Actually if you consider that in Asia they have the Mongolian Death Worms which are physically different both in color and design and hunting its possible that a type of worm other than graboids did exist and did prey upon them or at least attacked them. Remember the old saying there is always a bigger fish >:D
@@Quetzalcoatl_Feathered_Serpent I forgot about the Deathworms. They have extreme electrical discharge, and can spew flesh-eating digestive juices. That'd be awesome to see! Burt would definitely have his hands full.
