    This is literally the only video series I could find on how to build a Homelab using Azure Cloud. It's perfect for people who have older computers and struggle with running multiple VMs at the same time.

    Great video, I've only gotten through the first two tonight and I've already learned a ton. Also have been able to begin playing around, the addition of powershell command usage in the second part is gold. Thank you.

    Valuable information, simple and straight to the point. Was just wondering wouldn't you be charged if you setup the highest running VM at $303/month with a $200 allowance? Also why wouldn't you install the latest Windows Server 2022 as opposed to Server 2019

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  Рік тому +3

      no one using server 2022 because its new. All we care about is learning active directory for IT Support so you can use 2016/2019. Doesn't really matter. Trying to save money by having the minimum requirements because you get 200 dollars.

I think it's becuase I'm using the Home version of Windows 11 (which does not support remote desktop). Do you know of anyway around this error except for upgrading to Windows 11 pro?

      @@KevtechITSupport Good deal! A small price to pay to self-teach a new skill. I just installed 2019 server in a VM on an UnRAID server at home, but it seems Azure is the future, the next level, as more companies are switching to the cloud. Learning the backend configuration in Azure would be beneficial.
