Walkabout Humboldt Yes it has been amazing thus far!! I see you’ve done a tour of Hawaii! Do you live there? Would looove to do a tour there someday. It’s been on the list for a while now!
@@walkabouthumboldt2818 Oh nice! Ok, good to know. Haven't done a ton of research re cycle touring there, just know it is a beautiful place. Bet there's some bikepacking opportunities too
Oh lovely. Would definitely like to pedal Western Aus someday. Probably do more of a mountain bike/bikepacking sort of thing. Have you ridden a lot over there?
rad bike adventure - yes mountain biking sounds good - there’s lots of tracks in the forests in the south of the western Australian . The Munda Biddi MTB track is world class - about 1000kms from Perth to Albany with free accomodation huts every 50kms. Further north (where we live) towns tend to be a long way apart and the few roads are busy with mining trucks and road trains - some people ride them but I try not to. :-)
Let’s see now... Exploring some beautiful, scenic land. Eating some new places pizza out of a box. Cycling around with three girls while taking it all in. I think I’ve had this dream before! 🙂
rad bike adventure Nice thing about a dream is that the facts can be “altered” with none the wiser! Soooo... sure thing, yup yup. It was in Tasmania. Have fun guys.
That Sutra inspired the hell out of me! So looking forward to next week when I get the exact same bike! those downhills looked a lot of fun! I enjoy so much and am inspired to do the same as you guys once my daughter is old enough to take care of herself
Wooo! Enjoy the Sutra...she is awwwwesome. Though do take care of the derailleur hanger if it's a through axle model. Mine got bent. Just something to be aware of. But besides that...incredible ride.
I Live at Kingston , ( 19 km south from Hobart ) , I cycle most Saturdays to Claremont , Cadbury's Chocolate factory , total distance from my place to Claremont and back 74 K M , if I go with a few others to Granton 86 K M !
That possum was really cute! Def’nitely worth losing an apple over. ;) And you really had a lot of wind there. Is it always that windy (roaring fourties?) or did you have bad luck?
Omg totally. They are annoying little buggers but seeing it smugly satisfied munching away up in that tree was too hilarious! Tasmania is known for it's crazy weather and yup...WIND. It actually wasn't too bad apart from a couple days of craziness.
A small doubt, won't you feel any pain in the arm while filming with one hand and riding with the other? I tried once with my phone and it was difficult
Don’t know why but for some reason it is refreshing to see healthy fit young people enjoying a knockabout diet of hamburger, beer and even a meat pie if the occasion calls for it.
Albert Batfinder Oh ya, gotta have a proper feed every now and then! Earned w all the hills! Is it bad that we’re sometimes motivated by a burger and beer at the end of the road?? 😆
Bad? Naah. Best beer you’ll ever enjoy. As an iconic Aussie beer advert puts it: “A hard earned thirst needs a big cold beer. And the best cold beer is ...” well, the nearest, actually. I ain’t gonna do no free ads.
I am enjoying these videos. Thanks for making them.
Thanks! Glad you like! Are you a cycle tourist?

Great video - enjoy Tas :-)
Kay Jay Thanks Kay! Are you from Tas or been there before?
rad bike adventure - we’re in Western Australia now. Lived in Tas 20 yrs ago. Enjoy your ride and be safe - it’s a beautiful place

@@KayJay-x1i Ah yes, we looked at Munda Biddi as an option if we did western Aus. Will definitely plan that for another trip : D

Meat pies or pasties yum yum.
We had our fair share of meat pies, we do like the curry flavors too!

It does take some practice but the selfie stick definitely makes it easier. A phone is harder to hold comfortably one-handed.
It’s called crooning.
