A superb piece of work. The UK broadcast dates for The Five Doctors and The TV Movie were 25th November 1983 and 27th May 1996. Great compilation of clips especially for the missing stories.
Thanks, the footages were hard to find 🙂 I was originally using the UK release dates but when I saw K-9 series episodes on wikipedia, it was bit of mess, it said episode 7 was released on June and episode 8 was released on April I didn't think it made much sense so I used release dates that's written on Tardis Fandom wikia
@@SamBirkinshaw I've got every episode of Doctor Who from 1963 to now (including David Tennant's first run as the 10th doctor) i know he plays the 14th doctor for the 60th anniversary specials then regenerates into Ncuti Gatwa's 15th doctor
Thanks for the upload. I'm one of the sad buggers who watched the very first episode in 1963. It has had its ups and downs , but when it's good, it's good.
@@RavenThom Same here but as we only had a 12 inch black and White Bush TV which we could barely afford, the cost of buying an earlier home video recorder would have been prohibitive. It was called a Telcan and you could record 20 minutes of low quality video on both sides of the tape. As a coincidence It was actually in released in 1963. Perhaps, just perhaps l, someone recorded episode 4 of The Tenth Planet and it's sitting in a loft somewhere
@@Sydney-McKee Hi, I think the only episodes I missed at the time were the ones where the good Doctor went back to the Cowboy era. My Dad wouldn't let me watch it for some reason. But I remember The Tenth planet , it frightened me , especially when the camera panned up from human hands to a horrible Alien face. I was an avid watcher and it wetted my taste for science fiction.
I wish 1963 or even earlier had been the year of my birth, and I would liked to have been around to see the black and white Dr Who stories when they were shown in the 60s.
Think I've finally worked out my own personal cannon for New-Who episodes: Series 1 (skip Father's Day) Series 2 (skip Love & Monsters and Fear Her) Series 3 (skip Lazarus) Series 4 (maybe skip Unicorn & Wasp) Specials (skip entirely, 10 regenerates off screen) Series 5 (skip Angels episodes) Series 6 (skip Closing Time) Series 7 Specials Series 8 (skip Caretaker and Kill Moon) Series 9 (skip Ashielda episodes and Hell Bent) Series 10 (skip The Monks) Series 11 (skip Arachnids) Doctor Who ends with Resolution 😢
Can anyone explain to me why the side eisode count and the BBC broadcast dates don't match? I mean the chronology. Original: Kann mir jemand erklären, weshalb die seitliche Eisodenzählung und die Ausstrahlungsdaten der BBC nicht übereinstimmen? Ich meine hier die Chronologie. Doctor Who is the only series, where you can travel in real-time. Because of the TARDIS.
