My sister's best friend's parents had one like this except light blue inside and out. He dad was a dentist in our small town of DeQuincy, LA. He was very conservative about money, but when bought a car, he bought it new. Their prior car was a '55 Buick Roadmaster, two tone; turquoise and white. Those were the days of my childhood and I'm 67 now.
That’s really is sweet car, especially in black. It has a very formal, squared off back end but I never cared for the front. There’s just something about it that turns it into the standard Buick that the designers of the Lincoln were able to overcome.
I have never seen an actual 225 without power windows Thee same goes for Cadillac de Villes and Oldsmobile 98s. I live in Canada and think the dealers who ordered these for stock inventory were aware that most buyers here wanted this equipment. A unit with crank windows may have sat forever. Probably easier to special a bare bones for the odd buyer that requested one. I always thought windows / 6 way seat were standard equipment. Air-conditioning was slow catching on here in top models and even slower on mid range cars.
Can you imagine riding around in 63’ in this elegant car
It is truly elegant. It’s even more elegant in 2023. I would be absolutely elated to ride around in that beauty of a car.

Very beautiful car !
Thank you for sharing your video
I had a 63 10 windows in white. Great car, I loved it on long cruises. I find it funny that reverse lights were optional!

First Buick with Cornering Lamps - nice!
What a beauty. Those luxurious interiors!
The1964 Olds 98 LS had similar ones, except for the dash panel.
My kind of Buick even back then!
I knew a funeral home in Thomson, Ga that used one as a family car...it was in their possesion up until 2004.
I had this car in burgundy with a white top when I was a teen. My dream is to own one again.
Beauty!
Mom and Dad had exact car. Mom hated it.
Beautiful looking car. I've never seen a 1963 Buick Electra 225 in person before.
From 63 to 66 there wasn't much difference in them, cosmetics were changed a little, but other than that they were very close in appearance.
my best friends Aunt had a white 63 Electra sedan, she drove it for a long time
its Nice car
Dude i own a original 1963 Buick Electra 225 convertible 2 door
The Buick was always more elegant that. The Oldsmobile, especially the front end. The back end of the olds was prettier.
My neice want to sell Buick 1963 225. Lives in South Carolina.
back when GM was GM
they don't have that quality any more not even caddilacs.
This has no options. You could have gotten a cheaper LeSabre with A/C, power windows, etc., and still cost you less than a bare boned Electra 225.
