Good looking bowl. Not long ago I commented you had become my favorite bowl maker. Not to imply that your skills were limited to bowls. I do love your work and learn from you. Thanks, Rick.
Nice work. I like that you kept the wings on. The only thing I would have preferred is keeping the chainsaw marks. I love chainsaw marks on pieces like this.
...this double crotch winged bowl just popped up on my home page...and it really did turn out gorgeous...! It's a beautiful thing when two crotches come together...👍 Matt
Nice bowl. You should turn the other half of that crotch so the inside of the tree is the base and see how much feathering of the grain remains at the bottom of the bowl.
Love the three legged bowl. I was looking at a log like that wondering what to do with it thanks for sharing. If you don’t mind if I copy your inspiring work
Turned out very nice Hodge. Thanks for sharing. Hope you and your family are well, including Harry. Just got a wood burning set in. fairly inexpensive one, but heat setting do you use to sign the bottom of your pieces? Thanks again.

Thanks Rick. I'm honored!

Interesting idea! I might have to try and incorporate that at some point!

Haha, I'll need to save that joke for next time I find a log like this!
Very nice turning, and I like the beaver. Everyone could use a funny beaver hanging around the shop!
Haha, yes the world would be a better place if everyone had a Harry Beaver.
Nice beaver I mean bowl 😂 great video, good humour, good music, good job….👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Sadly I only have one half of this piece as it was given to me from a fellow woodturner that was moving out of town.

Really nice bowl, Robert. Those branches cound be used to hold your salad serving tools. Did Harry pig out on the shavings? Take care.
Bill
Thanks Bill. I'm surprised Harry is able to maintain his figure with all the shavings he has available

I typically have mine set around 6 or 7 out of 10. But I like to try and test it out on similar wood if I have a scrap piece near me.
@@HodgePodgeWoodWorks Good advice, Thanks.
Beautiful. What did you use for finishing coat?
Thanks Jim. The finish was General Finishes Wood Bowl Finish.
Maybe a silly question, are the coffee grounds new or used?
They're used but I doubt it matters. Just make sure if they're used that they've dried out.
👏👏👏👊🇧🇷🇧🇷👊🤝👍💯
Looks like the neck and shoulders on some one.
Looks like you really need to invest in a good bandsaw
Well never mind I didn't think you were going to leave it that way
Looks nice just a question have you been seen by a shrink only kidding
Haha, my mom just said I was special.
