Ben Babcock 300 two strokes right now are the best by far for enduro riding. It will be interesting to see if some top enduro riders switch to 4strokes in the next year or two but I still think the 300 2stroke is dominate for a trail bike.
BEN DIESEL In WESS the factory Enduro riders and top privateers switch bikes depending on the track/event - 4 strokes for the faster, more open races and 300 2t for the technical hard/extreme races. They just pick the best tool for the job. The current 300 2t bikes are amazing trail bikes though for sure.
JUSES CHIRST id still be worried with overheated on a long tough trail ride and if it did and you blew that 4 stroke it would cost so much more then fixing a 2 stroke 300 that is cooled
Yamahas (plural) will kill it (and it has no chance against the euros). Don't get me wrong, I really want honda back in the game. I just know the Honda of my youth would have done better. The Honda of today? They are sooooo worried about their precious reliability that they can't remember how to lead. Now days it's "follow the leader, he's on a... KTM".
Zayne It’s a shame, but I agree 100%. I think Honda is already looking to the far future - Electric. They will keep making small improvements to the current models that won’t cost too much just to keep in the game, but will lead the way in E bikes. Hope I’m wrong though!
I would love a crf150rx and bet that would be a seller! The 150f is good at what it is but a rx (with aluminum frame) would be everything the mini mod community dreamed of
Ragd0llgarage 2259 yes I would buy one of those I have a 150f and I love just cuz it’s a smaller frame and I can put it right where I want it in the tight stuff
They say it runs hot then in the next sentence they say how it's unbelievable that it doesn't have hand guards. Sounds like it needs a radiator fan more than handguards
fs Why don’t you go buy one and stop reading comments I own one I do trail riding and fucking around on it just for fun it doesn’t get too hot it’s a dirtbike you can’t beat the thing up like these motocross guys do
I agree, for a trail bike it shouldn’t have a dual exhaust it needs to be a light as possible even though I know it’s only a couple pounds added dual exhaust but 6 speed is needed for sure. The 300 2 strokes are the best still by far for enduro
its got the same low torque gutless engine, its got the same steep head angle, its got the same MX gearing, its got the mx inspired suck mobile going on!! come on now, this bike is ****** for the woods, call it like it is!
Heavy bike at 244 pounds that is likely under powered for your average sized trail rider. KTM will still clean their clock with their line of brilliant 250 and 300 two strokes. In fact, I'd wager that the YZ250X will outsell this 250F Honda - it's $1000 USD cheaper, 15 pounds lighter, and considerably less expensive to rebuild the top end.
Peter Southern Boy are you trying to be annoying and "edgy" saw your comment on moto action magazine, if people want a 2 stroke they'll buy one, I'm very happy for this bike and want one idk why tards say shit like this. Get rugged Christ go to the gym. I'm you are gonna complain about it has lack of power when you are probably 250lbs your self
Peter Southern Boy have u been living under a rock it has like 40 and dyno tested. No bad for a SL bike and it’s not all about the hp either. This a RACE bike made for closed course loops through the woods not the street. I had a ttr 230 that weight 250lbs and made 16 hp and that was a great bike. I dropped it many times and picked her up and sent it. My 150 body picked her right up no problem, know why cuz I’m not a pussy. The rx bike probably make a healthy 36 hp and that’s plenty for my liking
Matt Nelson - well, if a “closed course woods race bike” is your preference then IF you’ve been a good boy this year maybe ask Santa for a KTM 300 XC-W TPI. Because KTM’s are what dominates “closed course woods racing.”. The KTM has the exact same seat height as the 250RX at 38”, it’s 23 pounds lighter, and refreshing the top end is going to be cheaper and easier than any 250F. And the KTM is going to hold its resale value. Good luck with everything.
About 5 years too late.... big 2.2 gas tank ? Should have been 2.6 gal. 5spd when all your competitors are running 6spd ? Light switch clutch engagement when hard enduro is pushing to the fore front and guys need trials like control for truly technical terrain and it over heats....
@@IacobucciB once Honda was relligion now its brand without inovations which eat dust in every category from cars to ATVs and bikes.Ktm is much better than Honda
If Honda made a CRF350RX I bet they couldn’t even keep them in stock they would sell so good.
Love your vids! I agreed I’d get one
Not sure a 350F would have any market moving weight handling differences - it’s splitting hairs. Having said that, a 300 two stroke would sell tons.
Ktm's number one selling dirtbike is the 350

the yzf-x has 6 gears and no report of it getting too hot
2015 was their first model

Yes please do a shootout 🙏

Looking forward to that off road shoot out video
Can’t use the launch system for dead engine starts......
Yz250fx vs ktm250xcf vs honda crf250rx!!!! Please.
Is it a true competitor to the ktm husqvarna beta 300 2strokes for enduro competition? I don’t think it’s even close
Hello I'm looking to purchase a trail bike for the woods and canyons in my area. Money isn't an issue. Any ideas?
Go get a ktm
sendit schutte ktm is for competition not trail riding
When's the shootout coming !?

Time for a review of the 2020 CRF250RX
wow nice bike!
It stalls? It overheats in the tights? It's as if Honda doesn't even know who they are targeting.
Nothing a fan and reckluse wont fix
I'm more of a 450 rider than a 250 but this bike very interesting to me..
I want it!
That dirt though!
Close, but Honda’s weird choice of a 5 speed and dual mufflers make it less appealing than the YZ250FX.
riding red gets you head

Gostei da moto esse é meu sonho
None of what they rode was trail riding. That was all just a single lane mx track.
Bomb Qui I know stupid lol. Put the bike on some hills and terrain that test it to the limits and see if it over heats
Clutch isn't good and it was boiling over? C'mon Honda! I was expecting more...
Make America great again 👍
I wish I could get this in Pakistan :(

Matt Nelson - 2019 CRF450L has 29 horsepower. Do you think the 250RX has more? In a 244 pound bike no less.

Exactly it feels like a mx bike. Ktm excf in europe 26 hp 250 its de tuned for tecnical terrain. Best bike
😍😍honda
Nah overpriced
No wide ratio ... exc ktm 250 excf is the way to go 26 hp engine
If someone races cross-country and motocross the 5 speed is nice.
