Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to episode 21 of Frieren! OMG wait, so not only does Frieren know Serie, but apparently Serie was Flamme's master?! It doesn't surprise me that Frieren would be more about the journey than the acquisition of spells. That was a short but telling scene! Also, Frieren really using some great teamwork with the whole water/rain thing to make sure her friends got the win in this fight! Oh yeah and she broke the barrier without breaking a sweat! Poor Stark, he must be getting pretty bored by now! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH - Розваги
I think Stark was completely honest. He was ecstatically happy without having to worry about Fern mother-henning him. ;-)
Denkein's one of the most complex characters in the series. And as you can see, he's exceptionally resourceful. "I cast _UPPERCUT!"_ Obviously, can't give away more.
I say the tornado of fire would be more aptly called a “Torchnado” personally
The dynamic of Frieren and Serie reminds me of Gandalf and Saruman.
Like Saruman, Serie is the head of her order, more ancient, powerful and respected. But despite her power, she spends most of her time reading.
Also, Serie believes that magic is a tool to achieve goals, and only great power that can hold evil in check. Everything else is a waste of time.
Like Gandalf, Frieren is younger and usually understimated. Also, she has traveled the world and learned that it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love that give meaning to life.
Frieren didn't choose magic for a specific goal. It just makes her happy.
At first, Serie likes Frieren because she is strong. But when Frieren says that she wants to enjoy the process of learning, Serie considers it nonsense.
Serie's problem is that her personality is too warmongering. Magic is the world of visual imagination, and Serie couldn't defeat the Demon King because she can't imagine herself living in a peaceful era.
People who think Frieren stronger than Sirie, Must be a bad joke😂
Serie is probably far more powerful than Frieren, but her desires seem to hold her back, she wants things her power cannot directly accomplish.
