You speaking things people dont wanna hear lawd
It’s amazing how the “others” love to be with black folks when they get money. Historically, from Sidney Poitier to Dianna Ross. From NFL to tennis players. It’s crazy how many black millionaires grew up in the hood but non of these non-black people came to the projects to be with y’all & date y’all. As a poor black, you couldn’t sit at their grandfather’s table in that condition. But when Blacks get wealth, many of them love to go give it to another community. How often do wealthy non-blacks go pull a black person out the mud?
Because they're agents. They sent to blacks doing well to ensure that prosperity doesn't bleed out the community and these fools let them do it
That's why they don't teach us finance in school we stay ignorant
Sad
Beautifully well stated!!!
Can you make a podcast about that? I see it all the time. The others get the best of our own community and their own. Bw are 80% single because not all of us are financially where she is.
Nicole is an awesome entrepreneur and great mother. I’ve followed her for years. She is a Black woman deserving of respect and kindness. Whatever she may/may not be going through mentally, emotionally, spiritually is for her and God to work through. I have found this recent relationship (post her divorce from another mooch white man) very questionable but again... People (all of us) have deep-rooted things despite our successes. Smart people make questionable decisions in the area they need the most healing in. Grace is needed. God bless her. Hopefully she does have a prenup.
It's a well-to-do Black woman submitting to and taking care of a lower-value Anglo-white man... something that Black women EVERYWHERE claim that they would NEVER do for Black men. Swirler-divestors violate this declaration all the time, and the sisterhood praises this contradictory behavior!! Double-standards everywhere...
Nicole needs to protect herself and her children.
@@kgreen8527 How? No it’s not stop making that up.
Right. If she doesn't have a prenup she'll be another example explained on Shera7's channel. You never let the man stay home FOOH especially not a White one. Timestamp the prenup or a video where she was smart enough to get one.
If you don’t have a new sense of insight after this interview and feel inspired by the gems that she left, you were solely focused on the wrong thing. We as a People won’t get ahead worrying about what other people choose for their love life, instead of focusing on the wisdom that they share, and the knowledge that they have and bring to the table openly!
If people don't want their business to be critiqued, then don't display it for the world to see/know. She spoke on her personal and business life, so people can speak on one or both. The word worrying that you used is a bit overkill. The last time that I checked, commenting about an individual's situation is not worrying about it.

@KH-qs1di It's all about context, she's promoting her business & entrepreneurship, now if all you got out of it was her love ❤️ life, then you're def worried.
He secured the bag. He get submissions and a millionaire. God help this woman
I think you missed the concept of submission. It has nothing to do with if your husband is making more or not. Godly submission is submitting to a man who has vision that is God, but that you feel willing to submit under. Guess what she has her own money and she will always be OK.
Exactly. I have zero issue with submission as it's biblical order. I have a total issue with a Black woman who seems to only feel a white man leading her and her Black daughters is the way. It's not preference as much as conditioning. The lie of white saviourism is certainly entrenched into those of us from colonial backgrounds. I'm disturbed, because I don't want her to lose what she's worked so hard for
@@DFergie722 It absolutely has to do with preference. I think it’s obvious that she doesn’t need a white man to “save her” because she clearly has her own. Who people choose to be with it’s none of our concern, because at the end of the day, I don’t have to come home to her man, but what I did take away from the interview was all of the knowledge she has gained in the business realm and how well she is able to Steward the gifts God has given her.
@@nathaliapunch7954I think you missed it too he did secured the bag lets hope and pray she has a prenup people are very good at pretending to love you !!!
@@DFergie722what?
Nicole is speaking true facts!! Amazing guest on the table! I love that she’s fine with a man making less than her. God bless their union.
Why are people already mad in the comments. Story of my life. And my husband loves me quite well. I’m really blessed.
I never seen people comment before a show aired before smh and it's all negative smh.
Though this is merely my theory, I suspect that some of the negative comments come from either a) those who (like Nicole stated herself) had lived out improper submission in their own lives or b) have heard/listened to society's message about "submission" and have come to reject it outright, not wanting to place themselves in a vulnerable position. So they're not necessarily wrong for that, per se, but may be unwilling to change, challenge, or examine their own situations.

Yea hypogamy gets exhausting
Especially if you add kids in there
I just hope she has a prenup because this seems dangerous. Not the submission part, that is fine with the right person but this seems weird.
Anthony, she's giving all of us a new way of thinking about the value of money along with your partner. Preach love ❤❤❤❤
I'll be putting this on repeat!

FOR REAL
THAT part!
Black women still muling
Submission is practice is far more challenging than speaking theoretically. All the best to this lady.
This interview was amazing!!!! Thank you AO and Nicole Walters!!!
This episode was amazing... to whatever works for you and yours do that. The opinion of others will NEVER satisfy your purpose nor you. It was refreshing to see that Nicole has the finances and still understands the concept of submission, which TRULY has nothing to do with finances. I hope more financially successful women understand and learn to get under the mission of THEIR family rather than thinking money is the sole mission. The truth women: if we marry correctly and from a whole and healing place and follow the mission/vision of the family the money follows, so we can NOT lead from that place, so regardless of who she's marrying... her thought process is in alignment with God's Word. I LOVE THIS!
Interesting. When black folks get money, they run to other communities. When other communities get money, they sticking together. Making sure resources stays amongst themselves. Not Making it racial...I am just making an observation.
Younger BW don’t want responsible BM who will become successful. It’s not our fault.
It’s the sad reality of life. Malcolm x warned us about this. It’s the proximity to whiteness that these people want. This is both for black men and women.
@@Thatbul It's truly a sad thing. Every time I see a successful black person, I wonder if they have a black spouse. I never think like this with other groups because I expect them to have a spouse like them. 9 out of 10 time. They do
Yep... Its sad
@@PatriciaRose907 black women don't want to build with the successful men, it's counterintuitive it's not our fault especially the younger generation, they shame building and 50/50 meanwhile you have couples like @stephandden on YT or couples on CNBC make it and millenial money that will be millionaires by 30 because the non black woman sees a responsible man and thinks wow we have so much opportunity to build. I don't get it.
I'm glad you mentioned fiance. Let's wait till they've been married 20 yrs plus. As they say, 'time will tell'

OMG😮I JUST REALIZED I HAVE THIS RELATIONSHIP AT HOME ALREADY!!! The money is coming in more. ❤I appreciate her journey
Everybody screams love is love, but when it's interracial, People go completely insane. They are happy so let them be
The problem is that a lot of black people will accept from others what they would be ashamed to accept from their own kind.
The people that scream love is love usually are advocates for interracial
Omg you have Nicole on your show that is amazing I love her ❤❤

The tax of being a woman and being a man is not equitable
Wow! When a woman is the breadwinner, making the money a prenuptial is good to have, but if a man asks for one, he is wrong and every low-down thing in the book for wanting one. Double 🤬 standards.

This conversation on income disparity within marriage and wifely submission is so necessary in our community. Great discussion
How do you submit to a man staying home permanently that makes far less than you. I can't get wet from that lol.

Just wow what an amazing interview definitely some golden nuggets sprinkled in there...THANKYOU
I really loved this episode! Thank you both!
Such a vibrant woman! Her words have depth! Great question!
That's what's so tricky about following people on social media and letting them influence you. I followed her when she was in Atlanta and with her husband and each video her life looked like something to be envied but in minute 1:52 of this interview she says she was internally falling apart. So I guess her cheerful videos I followed in Atlanta weren't real. I give up on following people on social media. I'll just follow God instead.
She mentioned that she hopes this video ages well. I would bet that is doesn’t. You are so right. Social media is just a highlight reel. We have no idea what these people are going through.
You act like she can’t be happy at all in the relationship… she wasn’t happy enough to stay and unhappy enough to eventually leave if it was so bad she would have ran the police station
Great show. I'm definitely interested in her book for sure.
This episode was so good.
The Bible says that the man should be the protector and provider, BUT if the wife is in that providing role, then the husband should be the protector and should contribute to the household in other ways as to pick up the slack. In this day and age, I would prefer a 100/100 relationship, where both the husband and wife are equals and are submitting to each other financially, emotionally and spirtually.
There both submitted or be single, dont complain
And where does the bible say this?
@@jaredlhulum Timothy 1, chapter 5 verse 8, Genesis, chapter 3, verse 17-19, and many other scriptures where it says husbands are providers and protectors.

She got me SHOUTIN’ at 16 minutes!!!
This was incredible!
I was a school teacher and my husband was in the military. He made more than me throughout our relationship. I’m now a school administrator and now I make more than him but he still pays all the bills and takes care of the house. We both have roles and stick to what we agreed to before we got married. Sometimes simple is better. When women are complicated they pick complicated partners or partners who can manipulate them.
How does a married woman submit to her fiancé? Cause she’s not divorced..
Nicole is brilliant, beautiful, and hilarious. Her "preference" for white men to lead her life is questionable. Business sense doesn't equal emotional wholeness. Praying for this sister.
Business sense doesn't equal emotional wholeness. You can say that again!!!!!!!!!
Can we stop with the word preference. Who a person dates shouldn't be a threat
@@donnalee8778Who a person chooses is extremely revealing about their inner psyche. There is a reason we attract who we attract (as well as reject). It has everything to do with what is in our soul. An African woman who very likely grew up with a colonial mindset of Wite saviourism and supremacy that never dates her own people had likely been conditioned. Plus anyone with an ounce of discernment can see something is off with him.
@@DFergie722 you already judged her without listening to what she said. She said it wasn't a preference. She said, "Who am I to not like him because of how he is wrapped". We are spiritual beings having a human experience. If we can't look past those things than we will not prosper as spiritual beings. Open your mind, respectfully.

Im gonna have to say a nay on this one, and guys lets be very real. If its a brother to a BW, even if he is the bread winner and leading as he should, he wont get the respect as his white male counter part. You can see it in the pic stated in the thumbnail.

Agreed, I was wondering if it was more of a live-in "manny" situation to help with the kids while she travels. I guess the dude is happy so God bless.
This lady seems to be lazer focused when it comes to business. Maybe she should apply that to her marriage. She only spoke on what SHE was not satisfied/fulfilled with and why she was not happy. There's no I in marriage. What about her ex husband's needs, desires, etc? I guess he wasn't that important in the grand scheme of things.
If this were a man expressing himself in terms of not being fulfilled in his marriage, wanting a divorce and marrying someone else, women would shame him in a nanosecond. Even if he did speak on doing business as well, the focus would entirely be on him divorcing his wife because he wasn't satisfied. He would be called everything but a child of GOD.
You are so right 👏🏾

That is good. Not a leader. Not a leader to that person you are not called to lead them. Yes
Discussions on submission require more clarity/nuance. There are several interpretations and applications of the term. Submitting to one another is one application. Men leading/women following is another. In my opinion, BM generally have different expectations for submission than WM do. Cultural, racial and class differences are a factor. I suspect that her fiance has not expressed a strong desire for the kind of submission where men lead/women follow. He likely favors mutual submission. They make decisions together and are partners. I think many BM want the kind of submission where men lead/women follow. This can be challenging when the woman is ahead of the man financially. Especially if the man chooses to lead in a way that minimizes the woman's perspective.
