Wow! I appreciate this conversation..I'm in tears..When I lost my kids father by cop when I was 29yo I put everything (my wants & needs) about me on the back burner to make sure they had a good childhood. Now at 46yo, my kids are grown, and I'm trying to find my footing.. The struggle can be real sometimes but I got to get it done; for me.

Loving her points about the blue collar guy. My circle shames me for my choices in men sometimes, but the facts are that we commodify men based on money alone and that’s dysfunctional on several levels. What women need first and foremost is the protection a man can provide (both physical and energetic) and that needs to be discussed more. A lot of men with high incomes still do not know how to protect or respect women, and at this point I will take a man who knows how to communicate and be considerate over a man who is only good for throwing money at a situation.

Taking a break is essential for your body's overall well-being and can have several benefits. Reduces Physical and Mental Fatigue: Continuous physical or mental exertion without breaks can lead to fatigue, both physically and mentally. Taking regular breaks allows your body and mind to rest and recover, reducing the risk of burnout and improving overall productivity.

Monique has been my favorite guest out of the million episodes I’ve seen. She’s so real and relatable. Very down to Earth. More Christian women should feel comfortable just being themselves; confident without fear of being judged as arrogant and assertive without giving a damn about anyone else’s opinion at all. She manages to be down to Earth and discuss real issues without being hood or self-compromising. I especially like how she encourages women, especially young women to prioritize investing in themselves and to lay a secure foundation in their lives while they’re young. I’m definitely going to tune into her show simply because she can follow the teachings of Paul with ‘badass’. Yes, Ma’am!

You know what Anthony! The way I stumbled on to this episode and I have been praying and asking God for a partner for the past year and a half but I believe God has been planting it in my heart to make more strides in my growth journey as a Christian woman and rebuilding my finances all whilst taking care of my son. I want to be a mom my son will be proud of once he's older. I want to be a wife some day that can stand her own but also be a partner that will add/build with my husband, build on what we have both built individually.

It goes both ways. It’s not only women not accepting men as bus drivers. I had an ex broke up with me because he was tired of his friends making fun of him just because I was a bus driver which I have learned about after the fact. At the time, he was a graphic designer, still living paycheck to paycheck. Yet, he was embarrassed by my profession. The hypocrisy is very REAL!!!

    Establish a Strong Financial Foundation:
Create a Budget: Start by creating a budget that outlines your income, expenses, and savings goals. Track your spending and identify areas where you can reduce expenses and save more.
Build an Emergency Fund: Set aside funds for unexpected expenses or emergencies. Aim to save three to six months' worth of living expenses in a separate, easily accessible account.
Pay off High-Interest Debt: Prioritize paying off high-interest debt, such as credit card debt or personal loans. Focus on making extra payments and consider debt consolidation strategies to lower interest rates and accelerate debt repayment.
Establish Good Financial Habits: Develop healthy financial habits like saving regularly, paying bills on time, and avoiding unnecessary debt. Automate savings and bill payments to stay consistent
