Food tastes better and is healthier when cooked at home!
💯
This so true. For some reason when I eat out at some restaurants makes me so sick.
Only if you know how to cook 😂
Not the way I cook😂
@@leslietiwari8625 😂😂
Eating out is definitely my problem, I gotta get back to meal prepping!! Great video!
We get the hello fresh plan. It was my wife's idea because we just bought a new home with a huge kitchen. I thought it would be a ripoff. I was wrong. Compared to our old grocery bill it's actually cheaper, delivery is weekly, no wasted food, healthy and it's about 20 minutes to make a meal. The food is really excellent. Only drawback is more dishes and with a dishwasher that has a cost!
My dogs don't work cheap!!

I purchased a home in a gated community a few months ago. I started speed walking/ light jogging in my little neighborhood last month, and I love it! I'm way more motivated because I don't have to psyche myself into packing a gym bag and hitting the road. It's quick and easy, plus I save on gas too 😊
Congrats on the home
@@AccentBwoy thku 😊
Exactly going to the gym is work in itself. You gotta pack, drive, etc.
I too bought a home in a gated community and I love it❤❤❤❤ HOa fees? Not as much 😢
@@gemneye8039 omg, same! I'm grateful to have a home, but do you know what I could do each month with those fees 🥺
Don't be lazy about returning items to store that you no longer need after purchasing them.
I literally have something in my purse that needed to be returned weeks ago 😢
Actually it's call scamming if you buy something wear it then a week later return it after having buyers regret or scamming.
Okay going to return stuff 😅
If you don't need it, don't buy it in the first place.
@@sandrataylor7892 mine is an unused adapter.
I started doing that most recently! I’m a PEETs coffee person. I bought it on sale at Costco for around $12 bucks. I grind my beans and make it myself ❤️❤️❤️
I closed my Massage Envy Membership, Gym Membership, Cable Service, i do my own nails, eyebrows, I shop at Costco and Grocery Outlet and stopped eating out as much ✔️✔️✔️
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I don't have an expensive coffee machine, but I brew coffee at home, pack my lunch errryday for work, rarely eat out. I walk to work when I can(free). Frugal (cheap) is my middle name. But also those coins save allow me to travel worldwide for about a month every year. I buy my groceries and cook my own meals, I can not afford those prepared meal services. Cooking is an enjoyable pastime for me. Cut back where you can, it adds up quickly.

We found that buying essentials in bulk and not just sporadically helps on time going to and from the store and helps our budget.
That’s what I want to do. It sounds like it makes sense to buy a 2pack paper towels since its just me but at the end of the day adding every two roll pack up yearly would equal a large pack i bet.

“Pray like it all depends on God & work like it all depends on you.” I touch and agree with you that you will hit 1 million before the end of this year. I’ve been reposting and sharing your videos to help.
The success of your show is needed. You give practical ideas and step by step guidance and resources to get there which many others don’t do and I respect this so much.
If your bank is not close to where you are bank elsewhere or go into the grocery store and get cash back from the register with purchase or customer service without a purchase. I do it a lot and pay zero fees ❤
Great tip!!
I’m going to start doing that just to stash more money at home
Now you have to be careful saying the cash back from the grocery store. cuz they've now put a limit on how much cash you can get back at least in the South anyway. I am never going to pay to get my money. If I have to find the ATM I'm driving. I do not pay to get my money and if you are doing so shame
@@Seeing_it_as_it_is I think most stores have a limit but if I remember Walmart’s limit is higher at customer service. You can only get $100 back at the self service checkout but I do remember getting $600 cash from customer service. I do agree that you should not pay to take your money out of any machine. I have a Fidelity account that allows me to take money out of anyone’s ATM and they reimburse me for whatever fee I’m charged. I’ve had that account since 1999.
🙏🙏
I put more money into my pocket by learning how to make things myself. I do a lot of food prepping to cut back on having unnecessary doctor bills later, health conscious. I make my own laundry soap, and I've done so for a year now. Literally have only spent 12.00 on Arm & Hammer Wash Soap, Borax and Kirk's Soap, do the math. The only thing I've had to buy more of is the soap and I get it from Big Lot. I don't have any cable subscription or internet. I use my Hotspot for now. I watch movies on UA-cam. I live a very frugal life and still enjoy travels, rec activities etc. I agree with you Anthony, I workout at home, and walk at local parks. ❤

I need a whole session on impulse buying alone
I was spending $800 a month on restaurants and it was just me!
Yes for all. Truly what people need is better wages too. Since inflation ppl have not gotten a raise to compensate .
People need skills! Can you teach ppl a skill set.
The more skills we have the more we increase our income. Not deleting things that gives us pleasure.
Bc to work hard and can’t buy a damm cup of coffee will not make the ppl wealthy!!
A skillset is needed and higher wages
I agree and disagree with this. Yes wages need to be increased increased. But not buying coffee out and all the other money savers will give you the money to pay for a skill. It translates into thousands annually in wasted dollars when you rlly sift through ppls budget. Money that could be going into training.
@@freedomwithrho 👏 that’s why he talks about taking advantage of the tech space, becoming a content creator, reading a new book about finances and/or growth once a month, investing in skills

I love my Chime Account! I haven’t paid fees for the ATM in years, and I brew my own coffee at home for sure. If you just do the math on your discretionary spending, you will get a real eye opener! ❤
Agreed about ATM fees, just went to a shared banking branch to avoid it literally this morning. Also, if your credit union and the ATM your using is a member of SUM, they will reimburse you. I do that as well.

Very true
I know it's not for everyone, but shopping at the thrift stores or discount stores can be a great way to save money. An example is the Keurig that I picked up at a local thrift store for about $5 USD; it had come from an estate sale donation lot and was missing the part that your cup or mug sat on and was used to collect any drips or spills, which I was able to find a compatible replacement on Amazon for another $5 USD. After running it through several of it's dispensing cycles to sterilize and sanitize it with some boiling water and citric acid I spent about $20 USD total for a basically brand new Keurig. I definitely adhere to the off brand mentality except for a few select items that I just cannot find a good off brand substitute for; like Pepsi for example.
Just did the math definitely deleting my Dunkin Donuts app🤣
Too funny. I have done better making my own sandwiches at home and coffee. Breaking the habit is hard but doable. Only reason I got one today is because I had points lol.
Its hard for me to not go to Dunkin because I live next to one. 🍮I usually go one a week on wednesdays..

That’s great placing emphasis on the ATM, first of all. Why pay to get YOUR $?!?!!
I have my equipment in my home. I have an exercise room & I love it. I don't have to worry about the weather, or leave my house! I've tried to get ppl to come exercise with me for free. Everyone declines & sit around complaining about their bodies!!!

Thank you for your words of wisdom. There are these words that come to mind; penny pincher, frugal shopper, cheap skate, even miser. At some point in my fabulous life I have played them all. I raised two children, not alone; however, sending them to college ensuring that they were never without the necessities, I had to do it and I promise you that they are the two most humble and appreciative, bougiest people on this planet. If I buy myself a well deserved Gucci bag with my hard earned honest money, bet, I am going to wear my Gucci bag until the g’s fall off.

Two ways to save on water. First get you a stainless steel bottle and stainless steel cap from Klean Kanteen. Then depending on your budget, get a 5 gallon bottle and chargeble pump. Fill the 5 Gallon bottle up at the store. Walmart is the cheapest. Or buy a reverse osmosis water system with UV. Fill your water bottle up before you leave the house. If you drink lots of water, get two stainless steel bottles and caps.
I take a YETI with Ice Water and a Klean Kanteen with coffee when I leave the house everyday.
@@TampaFloRaider 👏
The coffee breakdown for me was that I liked many different coffees from many different brands. Many brands charge about $10 for 12oz bags. Even the more expensive brands charge $20 for 12oz bags. A 12 oz bag of coffee makes about 20-25 cups for me. So it’s a $0.50-$1 for a cup of coffee that tastes just as good if not better than Starbucks or other coffee shops.
And some people don’t even care about the taste that much, they’d be happy with Folger’s or instant coffee so they could save even more. You might even be a coffee snob and just enjoy a cheaper cup
This was a refreshing reset
It's easy to say shopping addicts are not mature with there money. As a shopaholic who just spend over 5k in the last 3 months, I learned it's out of maybe having some type of impulsive behavior out of emotions or past trauma. I have Buyers remorse like crazy because I drain my saving almost then I build it back up to drain again. I'm seeking solutions. I had thought about counseling, but UA-cam is helping me. I could have paid my home off and student loans and not really have any major debt.

You speaking the truth about leftovers! If done right, it’s a fight for who gets the last single serving of a delicious leftover meal. 😊
Never shop while hungry, buy a coffee maker and a bag of Starbucks coffee, brew at home. I cut the cord on cable, bought a tv antenna, use my firestick, $125.00 monthly savings, stopped taking daily newspaper, kept going up. I google a lot. Dont use debit card anywhere, cash a check monthly for expenses. Cook at home, its cheaper to buy ground beef, buns, lettuce, etc than a Mc D's burger.

According to Google, Starbucks had 38.2 million customers in 2023. If you multiply that by just $3 is mind blowing. If you multiply that by $7 it is just stupid money being spent on coffee. I agree with everything except the gym. Is either you pay the gym or you pay a doctor, especially when you are getting older. They are just some joint, muscle, and parts of your body that walking or running won't get to. I, for example, struggle with the gym, but joining a gym class helps because you don't have to think of what you do.
I love all of these tips!
95% of people are poor because they still won't do the necessary. Even if you only make minimum wage; you can save money in many ways. Live for yourself NOT others. Remove the jealousy in your heart and God will do miracles for you in time. Example: Eating out or Ordering Out three times a day = $15 x 3 = $54/ day ; $378/week ; $1512/month ; $18,144/year spent on fast food. Just imagine just cooking your three meals each day and saving $19,000 a year just on that one change! Anyone can do it. Just make a daily sheet on your expenses.
Thanks for the reminder.

Great morning 🌄
I’m American and never go to an ATM (I get a bunch of free ATM visits with my banks anyway). I never buy bottled water; I have an insulated reusable water bottle made of metal. I never go to Starbucks (I buy a big container of excellent coffee which I make at home at a ridiculously low price). My gym has a $10 monthly membership, but I pay more ($24/month) because I can use gyms all over the world with it, and I can bring a guest each time I go. When I travel in my car, I never pay for a hotel. I work out and shower at my gym and then sleep in my car (I’m small, so it’s comfy, and I never sleep well in hotels). I traveled from Florida to Canada and was able to shower and work out - without spending money on a hotel. Not all Americans are wasteful or stupid. Oh, and I never eat fast food. I’ll occasionally pick up a pizza for $10 at Costco, but that’s cheap and not often. I also have never had cable TV (haven’t even owned a TV since 2007). I also don’t have internet at home; I have unlimited data on my phone and use the library near my house if I need a computer. I dye my own hair at home and do a really good job. I also do my own nails. I get haircuts about 2x per year. I drive a 2017 car which I bought used in 2020. I recently fixed my own air conditioner for $20 using UA-cam videos- a job which would have cost $400 or so if I’d called an HVAC guy. I cut my own grass and tend to my own landscaping. I paint, redo my own floors, and have even fixed my roof after a hurricane (before I got a metal one), and have installed my own mailbox. I also buy old furniture and refinish or reupholster it. I’m a woman who is just under 5’2” and weigh 98-100 lbs. You don’t have to be a big dude to do home repairs. My next big feat will be changing my own car brakes. I have a mechanical engineer friend who is going to help me the first time.
Thanks❤
Great intro 👍🏿

Great and practical tips😊❤❤❤
Good stuff! Will say I disagree about the getting $1,000 cash before going out of the country. Don’t think it’s wise to walk around with large sums of cash even if it’s concealed. But otherwise love your vids AO!
I started grocery shopping on line according on my meal prep and pick up so I can reduce my impulsive shopping.
