Fantastic job on making that tool. I know the twist has to be just the correct angle and the tip thinned to fit the keyway and sit properly. You did all three with perfection👏👏👏👏👍🦊
Thank you my friend. I really enjoy your demonstration. I ended up getting the twist by laying the wire on a drill bit and hammering away. It was the perfect curve I needed, and what finally made it work. Thanks for the inspiration. Have a great rest of your week brother.
Very nice tool you have made, that handle looks a lot more user friendly than the ones that come with the sparrows bypass tool. What did you use to make this with, a bike spoke or piano wire or something else. Did you hammer the end flat or just file it, Thanks for showing this tool. Jack's video has explained to me why I could never get my bypass tool to work. Cheers
I think it is piano wire. It was some stuff I got a while back on Amazon, it was a mix of all different sizes wires, but it didn't exactly say piano wire. Its very strong though. I hammered it, and filed it. I use a drill bit as well to make the curve, after bending the tip. I hammered it flat, then filed it down. I got the curve by placing the cub part over a drill bit and hammering the hell out of it. So it would fit inside the shape of the keyway. The handle is made from thermoplastic beads (love that stuff) heat in hot water and shape it by hand. Hope that gives a bit of an idea. Hope you are having a great week my friend 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks brother Good question, I should have filmed this one, but I wasn't even sure it would work 😂😂 If I have time ill do a round two. Hope all is well my friend, enjoy your week 🤜🤛
