    The source frequency in both tests was 500Hz. determine the Y parameters and draw the equivalent circuit at this frequency

    why we choose v1 and v2 as independent variables and i1 and i2 to be the dependent variables ?
    same is my question for the z parameters that why we choose i1 and i2 to indep vars and v1 and v2 to be the dep vars?
