thank you for this. I now know the 140 version can not replace a true tenor sax. The soprano (other than it's F# problem) and the alto are great if anyone is interested in these.

I have a soprano. If you're new to woodwind instruments. I.e. reeded instruments you may find the soprano difficult to start with.
