Fun fact: the population of Bosnia & Herzegovina is approximately 3.5 million people, and the number of Bosniaks living in Turkey is estimated to be up to 2 million, so it's no wonder there are plenty of Bosnians with relatives in Turkey when the Bosnian population of the country is equal to 55% of Bosnia itself :)

Tee Jay I recommend you to go to Istanbul for 5 days, and then go to Cappadocia for 2 days. If you want to see the balloons you need to wake up before the sun comes up. And if you want a sun sea vacation, go to Bodrum. Bodrum has the best clubs. And if you want a more relax vacation, go to Fethiye/Oludeniz. Konya is the most conservative so that's a good one if you want to see it. Karadeniz regio and Dogu regio is very pretty.
Hi Jason, Thank you for visiting Konya, I wish I could somehow have gathered the information that you would be here, I would gladly company and guide you while you were here. I live in Konya and I was born in Konya. You have shown in your Konya vlog great parts and aspects of the city but also most parts are missing. It is not to critise you but just for general information. Briefly, you should have gone to Sille Village which is the ancient base of Konya city and has a lot about history to see, you should have eaten the Etliekmek which is one of the main and popular meal of the city simply to describe bread with meat, you should have seen the Alaeddin Tepesi( Alaeddin Hill) which consists the capital city and palace of the Anatolian Seljuk Empire, and many more. Konya is called conservative but that is not coincidence, we are strictly attached to our religion and heritage but this is not only for Konya, more than %99 percent of Turkey is the same. Anyhow, if you ever come to Konya again, please type me, or anyone who wants to visit Konya, you can type and if I am available from work or etc. i will be able to show you around. Take care and have fun with your further travel experiences.
You should also visit" Tiritci Mithat " to experience exraordinary meal.make sure you will be arrived before 5pm to avoid disappointed..best wishes from Bournemouth:)

We hope to see you again mate. Well done
I am from Konya and I've lived most of my life here in this city. I happened to come across your video while I was searching for something else. It's so interesting to listen about Konya from an outside perspective. I know every bit of the places you showed and I see that you could notice quite a lot of details for a one-day visitor. Yes, Konya is a conservative city compared to many other coastal Turkish cities, 70 % of the population voting for conservative parties, for example, but this conservativeness can never be compared with other conservative Muslim cities in the Middle East. As your video also displays well, women are quite comfortable in the streets and you can go out with your girlfriend and be together at any place you want without being disturbed. I just wanted to point to this. Apart from that, your video is really nice to watch. While I was watching your video I thought I wish I had been with him while he was filming Konya because I would have really been happy to listen and see some other beauties of my city from you.
I"m from konya, that city is so beautiful i am there every summer, i have family there i visit every summer.:) Im so proud of you Jason the video is just perfect :) And keep going with all this video thing :)

It is so meaningful that you as a young western gentleman prefers to travel a land which is called 'unsafe' from their media and also prefers to go to watching one of most meaningful acts of the home of great Islamic scholar Mevlana Rumi-peace be upon him- instead of going to bars, clubs, beaches etc. I think you are a great example of how we can be tourist. I have been seeing many tourists in front of taxim gay clubs rather than finding a new fascinating thing about our culture. Sure, you have right to choose but I am saying why did you travel is your country lack of bar? Anyway.. Congratulation on your journey I hope you find the real peace in your heart. 🙏♥️

During that time, their refined and enlightened culture flourished throughout most of the land. Of course we love anatolian seljuks, too. Anyway thank you for your visiting to our city Konya. Hi i love Turkish culture and would like to know more about it..ive never been to Turkey but im planning to go this summer but i wanna visit the conservative side of Turkey..

Bilal Şimşek, nice tips. Hope to visit this year.

Turkey, number one on my bucket list right now 🥰
I am currently living in the Netherlands, but my roots are in Konya (as you can see it back in my name ;)). As I can say, you clearly captured the important aspects of this beautiful city. First of all, many thanks for visiting us. I hope that Konya hosted you well as it intented to do. Like our big Sufi 'Mevlana' once said: Come, no matter who/what you are, come again.

I'm a turkish and i've been living Konya all my 30 years except university and military services. Actually middle anatolia cities have same conservative culture but Konya is a little more. In my opinion because of "anatolian seljuk empire". They ruled over most of Turkey for almost two centuries, between the 11-13th centuries, from their capital in Konya. During that time, their refined and enlightened culture flourished throughout most of the land. Of course we love anatolian seljuks, too. Anyway thank you for your visiting to our city Konya. You've visited a very narrow area at the same time almost all historical area. Despite of i am from Konya sometimes i went these area like you for seeing and feeling our history.
