In late 2018, I was in the process of developing a one-hour comedy sketch review with members of my graduating class at Second City Hollywood, and the USA was maybe about to start a nuclear war with North Korea. We called our show "Anti-Socialites Go Back to the Bunker", and I wrote "Everything's Gonna Be Fine" as our closing song. It attempts to cross the gamut of feelings we were experiencing about reality at the time, but finally settles on Hope.

Three days after the 2024 election, I performed this song live in-person on the ukulele for the first time since our show, as well as my 2020 song, "Sic Semper Tyrannis (Thus Always to Tyrants)".
"We still believe it's not too late, if we all work together, we'll tear down the walls that divide us all, and make the whole world better than ever, and everything's gonna be fine".
