Hello, I have a few questions unrelated to this video but not sure where /how to ask... What do you do for things that are ALWAYS weekly, such as our family always goes to the library on Mondays and every week I write it for Monday... do you repeatedly write yours? My step daughter has a lot of health issues and lives with us full time, between her appts and meds and all I need to keep track of for her what can you recommend, ive been feeling extra stressed about it because with that and regular stuff feels like im super unorganized now... when normally i have a system that was working well and isnt now. Ive went back through and binge watched nearly all your videos, currently im using dashboard and that was working until she came back to live full time... now I cant seem to get it to work... sorry for long message!!!! 🤪🤯 Ur the best! 💜🤗
Hello Mrs. Doughty! I'm sorry that you are having to do with extra stress right now. As far as appointments, when my grandpa was living at my house I would write down his medical appointments in my month-at-a-glance spread and then at the beginning of the week transfer them to my weekly spread. To manage your step-daughter's medication, maybe creating your own version of this for your planner might help: tinyurl.com/yaauoayb If some of the medication isn't taken every day, you could have columns for the days of the week that it is taken. For things that are always weekly, I write it every week. For example here is a layout where I wrote down my work hours on each day: ua-cam.com/video/t5d8YvtZru4/v-deo.html And in this clip (5:30-5:33) I have two layouts each showing church on Sunday morning: ua-cam.com/video/WMVvtCGut7w/v-deo.html I also like to write down when my routines are going to take place each day: ua-cam.com/video/dmdh9rIZko0/v-deo.html However, I realize that this can get repetitive, so you may want to consider creating a schedule overlay that has the repetitive tasks already on it. Here is an example of how to make one: ua-cam.com/video/108ZTCBkKbg/v-deo.html Or you could create your own weekly checklist for repetitive tasks that you print out each week. Here is an example: tinyurl.com/yar34y7c For my grandpa's caregiving tasks, I included them as part of my morning, afternoon, and evening routines, which I checked off as I went and then erased at the end of the day: ua-cam.com/video/GLuEVBOQbIE/v-deo.html I hope that helps with getting started. I realize that this is stressful and difficult but know that I am here cheering you on! Lauren
@@julesdoughty3203 you said it! This is such perfect timing. I was just finalizing some updates for my planner to help manage taking care of my mom. I know that Lauren has mentioned she is fine, but the loss is so recent... Lauren--you are such a generous and talented soul! Thank you for being patient with us too.
Today is July 2, 2021, and this video popped up on my page and I am so thankful it did. It will help me utilize my time by prioritizing all the things I want to get done vs. all the things I know I can get done in one day! I hope that makes sense, it does in my head. Thanks!
