I'm so annoyed to only see either SAED with elements or Spinning axe with dereliction/adrenaline + traps + pets para. Just makes everything is bit boring to watch. I'd rather do TA runs and have to dance around the monster.
@@kahlan-mh2774 it still amazes me how people who do TAs just stop a monster from moving, but there's something so beautiful about watching a hunter in their zone just bobbing and weaving through attacks and still finishing sub 5. Respect.
Nice run! The thought of constantly spamming ready stance so I can keep looping the axe swing never occurred to me until now. Usually I just do A, A, X then repeat lol (B, B, Y for Xbox)
Yoooo cool run! Normally how many practice/runs you do? I've been practicing my CB skills with magnamalo and rathian and im having so much fun i considering try speedrunnig lol. Will need to unrust my IG in a few months lool
Even tho the practice never really stops, normally, I do a preliminary work of understanding every possible moves and how much recovery the monster has, and which attacks I can fit in that recovery. Then you just know how to react to everything the monster is doing, and it becomes natural and organic.
Hi can you help me. How do you guard like with condensed spinning? like in the mins 1:18. as far as i know, if i guard it will change to sword again or axe guard is available only on sunbreak? sorry if the question is too basic
It's a new wirebug skill in sunbreak called ready stance (or something like that), it consumes one wirebug and recover very fast (you can notice it in the video). Forgot how to unlock it, you can google it.
Now that they removed the "fail" animation when you try to go spinning axe without any phials, Rapid Morph has become less efficient. It's still a very good skill, but if you wanna stack a lot of attack skills, you have to give up on it. I think now Guard skill has replaced RM with the Ready Stance.
Wow the cb can do that lol I been missing most of the axe hoppers targets geesh I don't get how u guys continually do the spinning slash without going into saed at the 3rd time?
If you mean the Air Dash, that is not Axe Hopper. It's a completely different Silkbind. It's like morph slash but it launches you up instead of forward.
I assume you mean the spinning axe Elemental Discharge Into SAED combo. Using ready stance after swinging the 2nd time will allow you to immediately use the 2nd swing again after entering it. So you can Element Discharge I: Element Discharge II: Ready stance: Element Discharge II: Ready stance: Element Discharge II loop until you run out of wire bug charges. However ready stance recharges wirebugs quicker than other silkbind moves so with 3 wirebugs you can effectively infinitely chain ready stance Elemental Discharge II.
Nice run, I respect the authenticity of your talisman seeing as 90% of all speedrunners on YT mod in talismins.
Beautiful run! and definitely good choice of bgm, brings back memories
Finally a no Dereliction Spinning Axe build couldn't find one at all until now, thank you

2:07 that sound LOL
The music is beautiful and hunting too.
The pizza cutter in the thumbnail is top tier, just like the run.
Super clean run!
Amazing run dude, with the element boost in sunbreak,I forgot tigrex takes more damage with impact.

You unlock all new wirebug skills after beating the MR4 boss :)
No rapid morph? I remember it being a pizza cutter staple in base rise. Should I just build out of it in sunbreak?
