thank you Mary, I cant decide which one of the collection I like best they are all so beautiful. Merry Christmas to you and thank you so much for all your support and lovely comments it means a lot
They deffo are not the same. I stick to the Stampin' Up one for cutting and scoring. I stopped using the Martha Stewart one as it measures different. My Tim holtz rotary cuts to accurate measurements its the score boards that are the problem I think. I use the smallest ball tool head. Also you will get slightly different sizing once scored between paper and card and even again with thicker card because the thickness of the paper can push the measurements out. I love this journal. If when you wrap your covers with card it isnt sitting in the gussets between the cover and spine it is because you need a bigger gap to allow those layers of card to sit into. I prefer the fabric tape too to be honest it just goes neater and I like how the covers always open and lay fully flat on the desk x
thanks Amanda I thought it was just me, but then I watched a video where you explained about the difference, I'm hooked on the fabric tape its brilliant. Only got 3 to go :)
I watch Amanda a lot and she is good at pointing out problems and her tutorials are very thorough. I’ve not had probs with paper myself or the Fiskars cutter and I use them a lot Pam. I refer back to old videos of Amanda’s whenever I need to. It is good to see you are crafting. I’ve had a lot of illness but hope to get back into it in the New Year. Have a good Christmas won’t you. ❤
@@marybarratt2649 Hi Mary sorry to hear you have been unwell it's been a bad year for a lot of us, Hope you're on the mend now. I've had a few trimmers but found the fiskars rotary the best but the blades are as expensive as buying a new trimmer, I will sort through them in the new year Hope you have a lovely christmas and look forward to the new year thanks for your lovely comment I really appreciate it
Wonderful journal. I can see why your daughter loves them.
