7:10 I can relate to the struggles with the double 8 knot - especially as a way heavier climber. I learned the bowline on a bight (that what the translation app called it). Works like a charm and it's super easy to untie even after a big drop on a sticky rope. Iirc they are not allowed in competitions though.

The pokemon Go drama is real
I once misused our house's construction site for parkour because I wanted to feel like Tarzan. A few moments later I smashed my knee into a fairly pointy part of the guard rail. Nothing broke or looked bad, but my kneecap was constantly in "tense mode". I always tried to get it loose manually by relaxing my muscles and moving the kneecap manually but just after every step it was tense mode again, as if it wanted to bully me. After a month or so I guess my brain finally understood what I was trying to accomplish and it went back to normal. Would I do the parkour part again? Yes 👍
Do you know when you are near gym you can spin the picture of gym and it gives you every 5 min 2-4 balls?

Great video again. My daughter normally trains with the Depot Academy in Armley on a Sunday, but the session was cancelled that week due to BBC’s - I’m sure she’d have got a kick out of seeing you. Hope the knee wasn’t too bad - I did something similar to my elbow at Armley earlier this year and was months before I could pull on it properly.
I love climbing at Big Depot, wish I’d been there when you were climbing there to see you crush!

unspoken forbidden rule of pokemon go is to never buy pokeballs lol. if you add people and send gifts back and forth every day you can get a bunch of poke balls that way
This and honestly getting a gotcha was a quality of lifesaver. Just setting it to spin when I am out and about so I could do the cathing manually. And it helps that my bouldering hall is a gym so even during the session my bag fills up (slowly).
