I know this is mostly a women chanel. But cutting your ends will grow your hair healthy and stronger. When the stylist did my hair. She cut the dead parts off in layers. Then in a few months, i started to notice more growth. In six months I seen better results. Less breakage less knots more growth. Your hair is like a Bush, you trim the bush to maintain the balance, so the branchs will not fall over. I would trim every three months. Good job!

I watched meticulously and noticed you messed up a few times which is why you had to keep cutting. You need to slow down a little when it comes to using those clippers. Even when you picked up the clipper, the girl was looking like, " what is she about to do with that?" She was so mad at you and you can tell.

I guess I wasn’t the only person that noticed when she started cutting she started crooked🤬, then continued to cut crooked on half a dozen clips and took away healthy length 😳 before correcting herself! But she still hacked up her hair in the back 🤦🏽‍♀️! And her temple hair is still damaged and enough was not cut there. I definitely would not let her cut my hair. For losing all that length the stylist should have trimmed off all the damaged hair not just some of it.

Stylist literally said this in previous comments too that she did the girls hair prior in a weave bob and the client wanted her natural hair cut the same way. Yes the title is misleading.. okay we established its for views but tbh holding on to damaged ends isnt healthy, the client chose the healthier option. The cut looks super healthy and her hair will grow back strong faster and healthier. It doesnt look bad at all... so whats the big deal? It’s funny because people are taking the title and formulating their emotions, opinions, and reactions based off of what they THOUGHT the title was implying. She did not “tAkE tOo MuCh hEaLThy hAIr oFf”. THIS IS CLEARLY A BOB! This is literally how you cut a bob! This is how you achieve that style! 😂 This was clearly not a cut to repair damage. Believe it or not, some people just want their hair cut into a bob, that’s all. It seems as if the title was implying that the girl was shocked at the amount of hair that had to be cut in order to achieve this style, and how it was such a difference in length as opposed to how long she’s used to her hair being. Not everyone is afraid to cut their hair. Some people like trying new things.
With that being said, this bob is LIT just like all of the other styles that I’ve ever seen her do! Great work! ❤️

She applied entirely too much unnecessary heat to that lil girl’s hair. First she blow dried it. You don’t see that step but you know it was done in order for her to flat iron her hair. Then she flat irons her hair, which you also don’t see but you notice how much straighter her hair is before she proceeds to cut it. Then after she cuts her hair she uses the flat iron to add some height. Then she goes through and flat irons it again to give it some curl. The lil girl’s hair was already bone straight and the fact that she did that many passes through her hair just to basically bump the ends. And then she went back over some sections of her hair again with the flat iron. I don’t care where you went to school or how long you been doing hair, it DID NOT require that much heat or that many steps to accomplish what you did. That lil girl is probably going to have some heat damage. I pray to God that she doesn’t, especially if she wears her hair out in its natural state. Smh 🤦‍♀️ .

Sg Jewel I don’t disagree with u, yes it was only thin towards the ends in the back, but let’s talk about the front and the sides. The idea is to make the hair as even as possible, yes some healthy hair had to cut off in the process but this is an example why it’s important to get trims regularly so you don’t have to do such a big chop down the line.

And beside have you ever known a tree's roots to be even, and to much heat and not enough water will kill a trees branches and root's, and by who's s standards are these, hell one of your arms are longer than thee other arm, so wat you gonna do cut it off, your hair will heal it self just stop being lazy and do your own hair, and detox your body, and even if you haven't washed your hair yet wet it your hair gets dry just like a plant, it needs water inside and outside your body, the body is amazing it can heal it self!!!!!I let my hair dry by it self no heat , heat can be very damaging, if a tree drys. out from no rain then that tree becomes damage, rain water is the best thing for hair or it use to be

Trimming above the split ends really stops that hair from cracking up the shaft and breaking off. And helps in retaining length. It's measurable. Sometimes the clients have to see it to believe it.

I understand the rest of the comments saying she cut too much of healthy hair an I 100% agree if, she didn’t ask for it to be cut into a bob but if she did then this is beautiful. I cut my hair to a bob then I cut it all off ( majority) because off the heat damaged and me transitioning for a while.
