You understand what a good trim really looks like. You don't have to chop peoples' hair off to get it healthy.
some people need a chop tho. but its not ok for stylists to push a big chop on them. i always make sure my client is 100% ok with the amount im taking off even when i know they need more off. its not my hair its not my place to chop it all off. if they wanna hold on to damaged hair so be it they aint ready 🤷🏽♀️

The girl ends wouldn’t be that bad if she deep condition and keep her hair moisturized throughout the week. I hate seeing girls with they hair in a puff like she had in the beginning, think they hair is healthy, when all it’s doing is getting drier and splitting.

For some people, yes. If your hair goes down to your lower back but most of it is frizzy and split ends then that shit needs to go.

It amazes me that our mommas thought the only way to deal with our hair was to relax it. When you know better you do better
It was a combination of things. When I was a little girl, I didn't care about tying my hair up at night or avoiding geting my hair wet. Press and comb didn't last long on me. The moment I sweat my hair reverted. My mother worked and tended to the home. She didn't have time to be in my hair like that. Plus, everybody's natural hair is different and maintenance can vary.
zheahra girl my mother didn’t even try I got my first relaxer at 5! I feel like if they had the knowledge that these moms have now in the age of natural hair! These mommas have the same 24 hours in their day and work jobs too and still care for their kids 4C hair!

is it me or did the caption say "one pass with these flatirons" but I can clearly see that she's doing more than one pass on the roots. She's doing 2-4 passes on the roots.

A pass is when you go through the hair completely, not just the roots. She is only passing through the”entire” length of her hair once.

I’m not understanding the reason for the circle cut in the back but other than that her hair looked cute. I’m mean if it’s to retain length then just go get your ends trimmed on a regular basis because that threw the style off a bit to me. That’s just my opinion 🤷🏽♀️
