Makoto Misumi was just an average teenager who suddenly was summoned to another world as a "hero." But the goddess of this world called him ugly and took his hero status away from him, then sent him to the ends of the world. He meets dragons, spiders, orcs, dwarves, and many other non-human races in the wastelands. Makoto manages to show promise in the use of magic and fighting, which he wouldn't have been able to do in his former world. He has numerous encounters, but will he be able to survive this new world? A fantasy where a guy who gods and humanity had abandoned tries to reset his life in this new world is about to begin!

you know, doing a lot of chantless magic makes the chanted magic seem special, i like that.
It's because in Tsukimichi, skipping the chant decreases the power of the magic, usually.
Being able to quietly and quickly cast a spell I imagine would be more practical than standing there chanting all battle. Smaller spells to throw someone off balance and stop them from getting a moment to breathe, while the incantations are reserved for big damage or fight winning moves.
The inhabitants of that world actually have weak bodies and rely on the goddess blessing to be strong. Without the chant the magic gets weaker, and they usually praise the goddess so their bodies don’t get be burdened.
@rubentorrico9094 I'm mostly anime only, but as far as I know, it's not that hyumans (the humans of that world, and Makoto is one of them since his parents came from there) are weak, but the goddess favors them too much.
Makoto is a spacial case since he was born on our Earth which has almost no magic, and since he's a hyuman, that was like training in augmented gravity all his life. So naturally when he was transported to a world brimming with magic he became OP.
If I remember correctly, the goddess likes being praised, so she basically made everyone believe you HAVE to praise the goddess, when you really don't have to. (or maybe it was just that you don't need to chant the part that praises the goddess)

Funny thing is, they are both actually stronger than the two other heroes
You do know he's doubling his mana every day for over an hour. He keeps doubling his mana all because he hates that bug goddess. He doesn't ever want to be summoned by her ever again. He is stronger than most gods and with a creation ability that dwarfs most gods by a far margin. His special space is literally his own world with an endless ocean

@@Izumocchi no no, the lake was caused by the rings he threw exploding, if he had simply used only mana with no limiting rings or the outfit, it would have made a small ocean.

To human stands it may be, but to level of Tomoe etc, this is like a regular arm wrestle.
It was at this day a REAL teacher appeared, and the students who stayed to learn from him are the fortunate ones.
The training he gives is mana improving and battle experience. So pretty much a hardcore bootcamp. I still want to see his students have a one on one with a hero party.
@@darkm9347 Makoto’s class is the only one that leave them exhausted and room to think in order to keep up.
If they faced the heroes, they would probably humiliate them, not in status perhaps but in experience and tactics. I want to see how their fight would be. 🤩
They hold back Hibiki for a bit but had no chance of beating her since by this time she had better equipment and trained to perfect her fighting style, so she is far more powerful than she is currently in the anime! 😮

Guy shows students how useful his lessons in magic is, by doing the greatest mage battle they have ever seen........yet only half of them decided to learn from him. I find that to be very weak of students claiming to be some of the best magic students

@@enforcerridley158 True, most are spoiled brats I guess when they have an goddess mommy that spoils them with so much power so easily(especially Tomoki, he got the power to be immortal at night and instantly turned coward when he lost it momentary). I respect the other races more for rising up and gather their own power

It's a mock battle, because they're indirectly mocking thier abilities, by showing off.

If you ever watched it, it reminds me of World Trigger when they are counting down for Chika to shoot her Ibis (heavy artillery weapon). She shoots and the guy counting down goes EHHHHHH!!! and looked just like those in the thumbnail.

not sure about that, i didn't read the LN but i think Shiki is giving his best. He was pretty weak when they sealed the contract, Makoto has superior Magic Powers and could obliterate Shiki at any moment.

@daDUSTad Yeah, he had to use buff rings just to reach a level where a contract was even possible. Like overclocking a PC to the point it's melting just to run a game at minimum settings. Poor guy.
@@moteroargentino7944 Shiki did get a lot better, remember he told Makoto he's learned how to run on water now and plus in this Shiki didn't use any of his complicated spells. Shiki is a Lich with hundreds of years of experience collecting and experimenting with magic, his main affinities are for water and earth although he has proficiency in all types of magic and when he was sparring here he mainly used fire and only some basic non-verbal earth spells. Its stated that Shiki's forbidden level spells can easily topple entire armies and potentially entire small nations now that he's been boosted by his contract with Makoto.
Ya Makoto is an entire dimension above Shiki in terms of power but at the same time neither of them really tried here lol, if they did that "practice room" would have been another Star Lake
@@Crescendobro I love Shiki's reaction after Makoto tells him the real power levels of the rings he was given so the contract could be made.
Actually, these guys are going to get so overpowered from his training that they're going to dwarf most other humans, including the heroes themselves.

I just kinda realize something. If they used the item or spell that disconnect you from the goddess blessing. Would that mean he would be able to speak common temporary. The Goddess basically curse him not be able to speak common so it possible he can speak it after it get remove.
No, but it would be a spoiler to tell why.
to my knowledge she did not curse him to be unable to speak to them, more she just gave him the blessing to speak all languages{including some we wouldt normally consider language}, and then removed the hyman language (common) from that list.

also the part that i think is spoilers that gry is referring to, is that not even hymans know how to speak common, the language is given to them as part of their blessing.

She confirms speaking with Makoto that he was able to learn the language all along if he put the effort. She indeed gave him ultimate ability to understand (it's apparently more then just languages), specifically removing the part of the gift that allows to speak hyman.

diferent stories, with diferent objectives. its like comparing OPM with jojo.
mashle is comedy action. tsukimichi is more world building and slice of life, with bits of revenge.
@@marcosdheleno fair point. I was coming at it from the perspective of an anime with both action and comedy. Tsukimichi does both sparingly, but still does them well.

Shiki is much better at magic than makato, but it doesn't matter makuto takes basic spells and dumps absurd amounts of mana into them to overwhelm opponents coupled with top notch combat instincts he's nearly invincible
And one of them is wearing 10 rings each dividing his powers by 2

For those of you saying Makoto isnt limited. This is wrong. He has a full set of mana absorbing rings on both his left and right hands. Yes, his other rings were lost when he created the star lake, but the dwarf just made him more rings after his recovery. He has to wear them at all times do to his constantly growing and leaking of mana. At any point you can pause and see the rings on his hands. He also has no choice but to wear them in order to hide himself from the goddess. He has been nerfed this entire time time ever since the elder dwarves came to the demi-plane and made him rings in the first season. Even in the fight with sofia and mitsurugi all 10 rings were not released. The arrow he shot at the end had about 3 rings with it, but prior to sofia taking him in the air he still had about 6 rings remaining between the both of his hands if you go watch the fight....We still haven't seen his full powers. Hope this puts things into perspective.
