Makoto Misumi was just an average teenager who suddenly was summoned to another world as a "hero." But the goddess of this world called him ugly and took his hero status away from him, then sent him to the ends of the world. He meets dragons, spiders, orcs, dwarves, and many other non-human races in the wastelands. Makoto manages to show promise in the use of magic and fighting, which he wouldn't have been able to do in his former world. He has numerous encounters, but will he be able to survive this new world? A fantasy where a guy who gods and humanity had abandoned tries to reset his life in this new world is about to begin!

That's because it's addressed in a funny way, Makoto is literally playing target practice while the rest suffer permanent psychological wounds.😂

Its cause he's not just OP without any form of thinking, he's actually tactical and even goes as far to advise others to become stronger like himself. Yea there's comedic aspect like what Dio says, but if it were pure comedy, it would be a watered down and less interesting version of One Punch Man.

Honestly the world is interesting. The fact that Wasteland is so much more deadly than the whole rest of the world combined, was a genius move - it gave actual background to how Makoto's crew is so OP, and the author preoperly utilized this as plot device so many times, it's golden.

A trope I never get tired of, MC is excited to fight a strong foe and starts by "Saying hello" with what they THINK is a weak attack.....and then they're surprised when it just ends the fight.
Thing is that the other people of the demiplane at least have some measure to get past that basic attack. These guys haven't had to fight yet because they can fly so they were very unprepared
I hope we'll get a TSUKIMICHI - Moonlit Fantasy - Season 3 someday.
This anime is pretty cool/interesting.
Then it's a good thing it's continuing into the Spring Anime Season.

How did these guys ever beat the orcs?
Probably by staying upwards and firing bhrids from long range since orcs had no way to dodge from the sky they lost probably...but I don't think they will lose again orcs may definitely crush them...if they don't show any improvements ...well they just need to increase their power if they can thats good ... But in my honest opinion I think the wingkin should be used like mounts for the lizardmen that can make an air combat force....

one thing is running aways form any commitment so he can return to earth without problems, other is treat citizens as NPCs.

These title are something else. They can be impressive at times such as this
Makoto teaching others how to fight without being much of a fighter himself is interesting to me. He certainly isn't a seasoned warrior by any stretch. But, he is coaching the students at the school how to fight, what they're doing wrong and how to improve. Is this another ability of his that he isn't really aware of? Did that god give him some sort of battle prowess as well?
His parents made him train under different teachers basically preparing him for this moment, because they had a deal with the goddess and knew that it would eventually happen. So while he's not a highly skilled or experienced fighter, he's capable enough to stand his ground. The only skill he mastered is archery, he's basically perfect at it.
@moteroargentino7944 ah, thanks for the info. I was curious because he is always giving pointers and giving people things to improve upon. Shiki, Tomoe and Mio never mention anything about him teaching fighting incorrectly like they would for conduct on being the master of the demi-plane. Especially Emma, she is on him quite a bit on how a leader should conduct himself.
I don't think I have ever seen an anime that basically relies on one character for everything like this one does for Makoto. If anything happens to him, it is widespread devastation for all the people in the demi-plane. It is a very interesting story they have here.
Makoto is you when you're Level 99 and you're enemies are Level 10-15 too easy 😅

It's like in a rpg you do all sidequest to prepare for the final boss , and then do to your being OP you one shot him
Man, they really gave us some great animation moments here. The motion of firing the first wave of bhrids was smooth as heck, and then Shona's little scrambling-legs moment as she realized she was about to get body-slammed... 🤣

Season 1 was good but not season 2 it was boring and my interest stopped after episode 5. But I'm waiting for season 3.
Season 2 starts with 3 eps about the other two summoned heroes and a recap of the s1 finale, then it's a school arc with some twists and he meets some interesting ppl.
20 eps in and might get some neat fights.

Makoto's expectations are totally messed up from meeting Tomoe and Mio early, and then feeling like he actually lost the fight against Lancer and Sofia. He also still doesn't fully understand just how strong he actually is. So every time he fights, there's a part of him that is expecting a challenge, and that part never really goes away. Doesn't help that even in the LN, he vastly underestimates how much mana he has - nobody ever bothered to tell him that he's rivalled the Goddess in terms of mana quantity since Season 1.
