Thank you, Michelle. I am75 and have had a hysterectomy and two years later an anterior repair. Your videos and your book Inside and Out have been the most helpful to me.
@aleta gudelski my pleasure! Great to hear from you and I'm so glad you find my videos helpful. Appreciate your feedback and support - all the best! 🙏 ❤️

Thanks again, Michelle, for your very clear instructions. I have been using your pelvic floor exercises faithfully for several months for my rectocele and have already seen a difference in my bowel movements. I was so pleased to find your core exercises to add to the routine. It'll be a longer routine now. I hope I can stay diligent. -Donna
@thomasnasiatka9377 my pleasure Donna! Thank you so very much for sharing your progress and your dedication to the exercises. It's wonderful to hear that you've been experiencing positive changes in your bowel movements. Keep up the great work! ❤️🌺
Thank you 🙏 this is exactly what I need! Love that you do it real time. So difficult to find follow along instructions but you always make the best videos. Xxxx
Hi Michelle , thank you for this fantastic routine . Just wondering if you will be extending this video to include longer holds than the current six seconds? Thank you Michelle for all your exercise routines i always enjoy doing them and all the benefits from them 😊
Thank you so much for this video/routine! I would love if you could do more routines like this. It felt like an actual physio session versus a tutorial. How often would you recommend this workout? Daily? Or 3-4 days a week? Thanks again😊
Hi Jill yes 3-4 days of core training is ideal if you can manage this. Yes I'll be making more like this (recording next week) so they should be released over the coming months. I'll progress upon these exercises and include new ones too. Take care and all the best
Would have liked for my doctor to have explained to me to do these exercises had a bladder prolapse had surgery a full hysterectomy and now having problems with it again
Hi Michelle thank you so much I have found it easier to do my kegels since I have been using the exercises in this video are there anymore tips for core toning and strengthening the pelvic floor that I can add to this. Can I do these exercises everyday or us 3 - 4 times a week.
Hi Michelle, Can these exercises be done if I currently have cystocele and rectocele? Would love to do some exercises that are safe for the prolapse but at the same time help to strengthen the core. Thank you so much for what you do.
Hey Michelle, I’m a newbie to the gym I just had a baby 7months ago, I have a large DR, what are some exercises to avoid? And what are some okay exercises to do at the gym?
@Laced WithLacey postpartum low-impact exercises are for cardio e.g. stationary bike, elliptical, treadmill walking, and mix these up. In terms of strength/resistance exercises avoid intense core abdo exercises shown in this video (ignore the prolapse/hysterectomy title this still applies) ua-cam.com/video/Y5gT_bDU6M0/v-deo.html and start with light basic resistance exercises for back eg seated row, lat pull down, arms eg Bicep curls, tricep extensions, Legs eg glute bridges and small squats (even ball wall squats) all great to start out with. Very important to be doing Kegels training postpartum to help protect your pelvic floor at the gym, plus it can help with diastasis management. All the best! 🙏
Michelle Kenway, Can we do this if we have diastasis recti? I need to fix everything. My bad posture, my stomach, weak pfm and weak arms. Any suggestions as to where I start? I want to treat my body as a whole.
Yes I understand Mik Mik K this is normal to feel after pregnancy. These exercises are absolutely fine with your diastasis. Start with your pelvic floor and basic deep abdo core exercises - these vids are linked in the description plus here’s the link for the beginners core vid ua-cam.com/video/qfoW2PKugyk/v-deo.html You can also do the exercises here in this vid esp the Kegels. I understand you want to treat the whole body but start with some dedicated exercises for your weakest links. I’ll upload a whole body strength routine in coming weeks as there have been quite a few requests for this.
Yes, please! I'll be doing this at home, mad feel like I have let myself go so far, that I don't want to hurt myself in the gym. I used to be athletic, and NEVER thought I'd get so out of shape. I'm so afraid of getting a hernia or hurting my back. I am disappointed in myself, but see the need, and am ready to live better.
@@michellephysio also, thank you for what you do! I did a few exercises this morning. At first I had a really hard time locating my lower abdominal muscles, but with some persistence and focus, I got it!
Hi. I’m very hyper mobile (especially in my arms and shoulders blades) Are there any exercises you would recommend for building stronger core muscles in those areas? Loved this video by the way!
Hi Emma stability exercises are definitely the way to go - do you incorporate modified kneeling plank and/or side plank in your routine? Do you do any scapular stability exercises like the ones in this (neck) video? ua-cam.com/video/PdMJAhD7NEw/v-deo.html
Please give me hope. Probably second stage. It’s very annoying for me. Will these lift, the prolapse at all? I am only 100 pounds past menopause a young 69. My stomach was always flat after menopause it sticks out now no muscle tone anymore
@Widow’s Watch Kegel and deep core abdominal exercises would seem to be the ideal fit for managing a mild-moderate prolapse and decreased deep abdominal muscle tone. All the best!🙏
Hi Michelle. I'm 34 I'm looking to tighten my pelvic floor muscles but every time I squeeze my pelvic floor muscles my lower abdomen tenses a little bit. Is that ok?
@Gemzie33 perfectly normal and EXACTLY what should happen :) you're one of the lucky ones where your pelvic floor and deep abs are working together. Keep up the good work!
@Lilliana Ortiz Yes I do! Thank you for asking. This is the download link www.pelvicexercises.com.au/pelvic-exercise-products/downloads/strength-core-video-download . I do hope this helps. All the best🙏
I have this problem around my neck for more than a year. I don’t know what it is but it’s so uncomfortable and feeling so tight. I had massage but didn’t help. I googled and it says could be muscle knot. Pls help
When the problem has been going on for a long time it’s a good idea to get some professional help, are you able to see a physiotherapist? The tightness might be caused by muscles, joints or even nerves so it’s best to find out the cause and go from there all the best!
Hi mam I'm 23yrs old...I have complaints of constipation... recently when I inserting finger in to vagina a feel a bulging..then I consulted a gynecologist...she said that that is normal uterine descent and nothing to worry... but I have pain during intercourse... what can I do...plz reply
Pain during intercourse can be treated by a pelvic floor physio, you you have access to treatment? Kegel can often make the problem worse if it's caused my pelvic floor muscles that are too tight and can't relax. You may like to watch this video to help start ua-cam.com/video/Auca88tmUu8/v-deo.html

Is it safe to do the exercise with bulging disc l4- l5 and l5-s1? Lately early signs of disc degeneration. If not what are the best exercises.
Hello how long have you had the disc bulge?
Is this workout going to help build stronger core muscle in this area or core or both ?????
Both the core abdominal and pelvic floor muscles are involved here do both will be trained, all the best
