      Check out jadam organic farming. He gives you a bunch of cheap ways to make your own fertiliser and so you don't have to use poisons n stuff.
      Peace and good luck with the farming.
      We can all make it if we go back to tradition

    If you could afford a tower with a tank and you would pump the water to the tower then set a water timer to the drip system that would be better for you cannot think of today nor tomorrow but years a head

    I'd of dug a well or pond, refilled it once a week or month with the big pump your currently using and ran an electrical sump pump with a timer on it to the pond/well so you could simply expect it to water at whatever time of day for however long.
    Using Diesel to irrigate this size of a plot with those lines is a little excessive. I do like the trampoline line though. I got the same stuff running in the center of my raised beds I just used valves and hooked my lines up to the sprinkler system since I had it available.

      Not everyone has access to these resources.

    • @momentiummonroe1475
      @momentiummonroe1475 3 роки тому

      @@Adrian-yg2lg The sprinkler line? Or the sump pump?
      I get the sprinkler line, But if you have a 120 volt outlet and any real plumbing supply store you should be able to grab a solid sump pump for like $160 to $250 depending on the GPH and all the bells and whistles.
      It'd cost less to pump water using electricity than it does to use petrol... I'd think?
      The timer just has to be a 120 volt timer with enough amp resistance to power the pump for like 5 min a day. It'd defiantly be more comfortable to let the timer turn the pump on to water, rather than having to go turn on an engine whenever the plot needs some water.
      IDK they should sell everything you'd need anywhere that sells things for normal house wells and plumbing. The place they bought that big swimming pool pump probably has Sump pumps.

    • @momentiummonroe1475
      @momentiummonroe1475 3 роки тому

      Even better idea. Rather than dig a pond or well... Build a small water tower/ Elevated reservoir and use gravity to pump water to the growing space and use the swimming pool pump to fill the water tank. You could even get one of those Hose timers/Valve timers and have that dictate when gravity is going to irrigate the plot. You still have to fill the tank once every two weeks or something, but you could be focusing on the food in-between each tank fill.
      I'm just throwing out some idea's like I said it's "a little excessive" still works, but the cost in time to turn that thing on and keep her gassed up is gonna creep up on you. especially if you live in the 3rd world and simple mechanisms are hard to come by... I'd imagine that if sump pumps and timers are hard to find than gasoline can't be cheap to get out either especially at 8lb a gallon to carry. Do whatever's cleaver. I'm just tossing out idea's.
