Of course nothing will beat the OG Hasbro and TT MFB stuff, but for the price that you're getting them at, I still think they're fine for just casual collection and battling, at least from the ones that I've gotten. I have had them for a few months and they have shown no signs of damage and actually perform well in battle, beating my hasbro metal beys. I don’t know if it just depends on the beys, but I think midfakes are not as bad as people say they are.

I've purchased a good amount of their $12-$15 takara tomy beyblades. I haven't tested them for lead but I bought them expecting midfakes. They're most definitely good quality (with the occasional chip in plastic). The unbranded beys are the ones to most definitely avoid on their site which are all $5 or less. The "metal" from they beyblades flake off during battle and assuming they have lead make them quite hazardous to use. The parts from unbranded beys also tend to have horrible mold(shape) issues. Guilty of buying them myself (but throwing them all out recently), the worst offender was duo Uranus. while surprisingly useable the bottom part of the metal frame where the spin track goes was so badly molded that it looked like someone blasted metal with fire and melted a chunk of it off and let it cool. Midfakes are not made from the same materials as Rapidity. That's insanely wrong claim. This is why midfakes are legal in competitive formats and fakes are not. Also a lot of people did lead testing on mf and found no lead
Very important video to make as burst is coming to a end in releases. People are going to start collecting mfb that never have before unknowingly purchasing these fake product.
As for my knowledge, I know that in Burst and even Metal Fight, the brands S3, Flame, Rapidity, MQ and others are somewhat different companies with same motives. S3, Mq and Flame prioritize cheap burst beyblades, that are kinda durable(I have MQs and S3s, they haven't broke yet) have differences. MQ and S3 has tough plastic, working gimmicks, heck even drivers wearing down! (except for those dual layers S3 sells). Rapidity also but has worst quality, but their metal fight's kinda sh***y. Flame has rubber, tough plastic, but the rubber are pretty random, with some pretty good, while some just jump off after rounds. Source:Reviews, experience, and MQ vs Flame vs TT(or Flame only, or MQ only) from RAMP Beyblade Hobby videos(specifically those where he tests fakes in battles.)
I dont mind midfakes honestly like at least they give people a chance to experience mfb just wish they had a midfake jade jupiter and bakushin beelzeb since they're really expensive
No they don't and are very compatible with original launchers. Infact midfake L Drago string launchers are so good I've had mine for over 6 years and it has no sign of wear.
I have the Takara Tomy versions of Storm, Galaxy, Big Bang, and Samurai Pegasus, but I think they might be midfakes. I just wanted the Takara Tomy MFB beyblades that I always wanted as a kid, but the real one's are so expensive because they were discontinued 10 years ago. One of the worst feelings as a collector is when something I like gets discontinued and the prices for the remaining unopened products skyrocket.
Yeah, there's midfake codes that are on the boxes. I'm not too sure about which code it would be though 🤔😅 I would go into a sub reddit to check. Thank you for watching ✌️
One thing I found out today about another way to tell if a beyblade is a midfake is if the facebolt has a code. Each beyblade parts for Takara Tomy has a 2 character code like A1, E4, D3, and so on. For hasbro, they have a 3 character code like AA3, AA1, and so on. Both midfakes and real beyblade has those codes on each part EXCEPT for the facebolt. The area where the facebolt code is located is too small for TT midfakes to copy, so they essentially skipped putting any code there while their other parts like the fusion wheel and energy ring has the code. Checking the 5 character item code below the box and comparing it to the list of real and midfake item codes in reddit is still the best way to know whether your bey is real or fake, but if the code you're looking for isn't there, then the facebolt code thing is another way to check your bey's legitimacy. Another way is to weight the bey and see if it matches or is close to the real beys' weight that you can find online. Checking the rubber's quality, if it has any, is another way to tell if it's real or fake. If you have the Final Drive or Final Survive part from l-drago or pegasus, then check if they have triangle screws or crosshead screws. Hope these helps!
There's a surer way of detecting fakes but you'll only know if you have reference originals. The originals have a proper code on them [like "A2" or "K1", etc] on almost every part (face bolt, clear wheel, metal wheel, track, tip). But, I've seen some moulds they are now using to include that code although if you look closely, the font is weird so there's that. Sad I found this out after buying a whole bunch... They do perform quite well, however.

okay so basically Midfakes is a term made by English Bladers for the Metal Fight series of beyblades that have a weird drop in quality yet have the Takara Tomy branding. This is pretty hard to tell, and I don't have too many metal fusion beys. From what I've read, if you look at the fusion wheel (the metal) there should be a mold number like 1A, or so. Also, if it seems to be hollow from the bottom or missing the mold number it may be a fake/ midfake. Try taking some pictures and sharing in the r/Beyblade thread on reddit, there's bladers who can tell by looking. I hope this helps ✌️

Midfakes are better quality than those Chinese knockoffs, beyblades like Big Bang Pegasus work very well and look good. When these midfake Beyblades are made for $3 or less, and being sold for over $20, even $50 with sub par materials it causes this price difference to be more dramatic 🤔 thanks for watching and leaving a comment ✌️
@@BeybladeDad the resellers selling those for exuberant prices is a real problem. Especially when they don't specify the nature of the product
Great video, I wished Tomy would re produce them. But how you tell the difference between those fakes to the originals? Except for the lead test
Bro where can i find real metal fusion Beyblades please help
I bought a couple that arrived this week, it’s the plastic that gives it away, a lot of it is flimsier and the plastic is see through, with metal fight, those have really weak joint pieces, plus their colored metal is weaker than their regular metal.
awe man, depending where you got them from you should be able to get your money back. Or if your keeping them, i hope they last 😅 Thanks for watching and leaving a comment
@@BeybladeDad well, they seem okay, one of the leones I received (a red 4d one) the metal shattered upon 2 rounds. And I got them from Ali express for 1-3 dollars each.
@@BeybladeDad also the plastic either breaks or is very soft when you assemble them, to the point where pieces break, fall off or even strip.
@@darksoma209 you said you got it for 3-4 dollars each, that means you've bought a rapidity beyblade, not the midfakes.
*midfakes costs around 15-20 dollars each, ææÆ*

Have you heard of shopee?
If so do you think their safe to buy from
I'll be doing a video soon
also, flame brand and rapidity beyblades never have rubber like on meteo L-drago or l-drago destroy, there isn't any rubber on their fusion or pc core
Midfakes are not made from the same materials as Rapidity. That's insanely wrong claim. This is why midfakes are legal in competitive formats and fakes are not. Also a lot of people did lead testing on mf and found no lead
I got a fake achilles I just found out 😢😢😢
They should've allowed you to expose those other manufacturers. They're violating safety regulations anyways
Are Beyblades on shein low quality or good?
Why is there no company buying up the metal fusion license and then producing original beyblades instead of fakes?
Should a fan made burst system be made
I think so, it's kind of what Crazy Aries has done?
@@BeybladeDad I’ll try my hardest at designing and you give me inspiration to start this project in the first place
I kinda confuse soo does mid fake are worth to buy???
yes, they are pretty good.
not really bad as the bootleg rapidity beyblades.
@@Arxz20 thank cause I already but midfake cosmic pegasus I really want the legit takara tomy
@@bluefireyt796they are very rare to find on the online shop, yet possibly it could be either "fake" too.
I know
On the top of the fake beyblades my question is do the fake Takara Tomy launches contain lead
No they don't and are very compatible with original launchers. Infact midfake L Drago string launchers are so good I've had mine for over 6 years and it has no sign of wear.
Then that means
All knock offs have lead, thats very bad.
One of the worst feelings as a collector is when something I like gets discontinued and the prices for the remaining unopened products skyrocket.
they have no lead bro just telling ya
A lot do my friend had a collection he bought for cheap nd he’s been sick for a year now
@@Something_along_the_lines_of he bought fakes and not midfakes
A lot of metal series fakes dont have lead or at least all the ones ive handled its usually just the burst
Is there a way to know if my beyblade is a midfake if I kept the box?, It looks legit with the takara Tomy logo(it is storm pegasus)
All the newboy branded ones are legit
I used fake parts with the original real metal fusion disks I throw out the fake metal disks lol
Is the fake Beyblade considered dangerous? Because a large part of it is made of lead.
I’m ngl I wish there was a midfake Blitz striker cause $150+ is insane
There's a surer way of detecting fakes but you'll only know if you have reference originals. The originals have a proper code on them [like "A2" or "K1", etc] on almost every part (face bolt, clear wheel, metal wheel, track, tip). But, I've seen some moulds they are now using to include that code although if you look closely, the font is weird so there's that. Sad I found this out after buying a whole bunch... They do perform quite well, however.
@sqyed oh wow! Yeah they're getting better with the reproduction.. Thanks so much for the info!
@@BeybladeDad no problem, found your vid talking about this and decided to add on. Nice vid also! Wish I took better care of my og collection lost more than half of it through moving, travel, storage etc :/ thinking of building it up slowly into the future again tho
I have a ton of fake beys and I trade them for real ones, example, I trade a fake saviour Valkyrie with a diff combo cuz the parts are decent for a regular TT zillion Zeus and one time for a TT kaiser kerbus with a rising Ragnurok combo
How about for beyblade x? I see a lot of boxes with green mani stickers, are these only on real ones or on fakes? Also on aliexpress ill find a lot of takara tomy beyblade x products with those green mani stickers and 5 star reviews and people posting photos and saying its original takara tomy. Is this possible to find original on aliexpress? Or did these people just fall for a scam without knowing it? Prices are decent aswel btw they are about twice as much as hasbro beys so looks very believeable. Love to hear what you think about it, maybe a video idea?
Also the box says made in vietnam
Also a lot of reviews say they work in the app aswell so those got to be real then right?
My cousin all metal fight beys are all mid fake and when me and him saw this video we wanted to. Cry
Awe, that wasn't my intention. These beys are extremely hard to find, specially brand new. They're expensive and still have a chance of breaking. I just hope that you won't end up overpaying for them in the future.
@@BeybladeDad it ok thanks for reaching out
Idk mistakes don’t have rubber I brought fusion hades I bender the rubber and it bends mid fake tubers don’t work like that I even got rdf and it was rubber
I mean why can’t rapidity and flamenuse the same metal as mid fakes making them safer? Since your last test didn’t have lead in mid fakes
Hi so I wanna ask if it’s safe to play or use midfakes
And do they contain lead ??
The ones I tested did not contain any lead, but I'd still be weary of them as some people say they break faster than TT or Hasbro ones
@@BeybladeDad I bought some a few weeks ago and they are pretty cheap
Is a lead test for mfb necessary
I have alot of fakes because i the original is so high prices
Yeah, I can't believe the price on some.. I mean they're good, they may be old and a collectors item now but I can't justify spending so much on it, plus staying up to date with Burst 🥲
Does fake launcher grips contain lead?
Not from the ones I've tested. Which is Rapidity, and Flame
Thanks!
Do S3 burst beys have lead? Apart from TT it's my trusted brand...for now.
See the thing is. I did lead tests on my very real hasbro beyblades. Even they tested positive for lead. Bought right here in North America
Because the lead testing kit you used
is made for testing for lead paint
not lead metal
so unless the fusion wheel was painted it's not lead
Is there any website like mall of toys and beys and bricks for real takara Tommy and hasbro Beyblades
@myffical. I wish!! I still haven't come across a site that doesn't sell midfakes.. unless it's eBay, or FB marketplace where the price will likely be inflated, and you still run a risk of it being fake.
Hey as long as they don't contain lead and they're as close as to the original idgaf i am not willing to pay £60 for a authentic mfb
True enough, although most bladers that have been battling with them say they don't last as long, and end up breaking..
What if there are some that they can only afford fake beyblades?
What is your opinion on beywarehouse?
They have a pretty decent selection, although I still see some midfakes they also have legit stuff too. In the end, it's best to compare pricing. They are comparable to Beys and Bricks tbh
okay so basically
Midfakes is a term made by English Bladers for the Metal Fight series of beyblades that have a weird drop in quality yet have the Takara Tomy branding. Typically identifyable by their dry seal code on the bottom of the box. My good friend, you are spreading misinformation. We don't even know where midfakes come from. Just they exist and they're cheaper and at random occasions better than TT
I guess you didn't make it to the end of the video SMH 🤦♂️
@@BeybladeDad I mean when you claim you know the exact source of midfakes and just have an AliBaba link i don't exactly feel the need
@@NexusSHater u need to understand that midfakes are made after the production of original beys has been closed

The video is interesting. Do you have proofs of what you're saying? In particular when you said you've found the place where they're manufactured.

I was hoping You did talk about Hasbro as well... They been Midfakes since Season 3. I have never bought any fakes from Amazon. I also understand how to buy TT if i wanted them. Now.. Pokemon.. I did ran into a fake Heartgold at Gamestop. As of Amazon.. I have seen some Korean made Beys.. people do say they are real like TT but no, i won't buy them.
I do have a question.. Wal-mart? Are those listings for Takara are good to buy real TT beys? Target also has some TT listings as well, I do know they use 3 party vendors on their online site..so are they real too?
So is takaratomy sleeping ?
Sir great work love from india. I have question please answer if you can i recently baught a used big bang pegasus from person i met on reddit. How can i know if it is midfake aur genuine tt. Please sir answer
Is it okay to buy from the official takara tomy website?
I missed bayblade because I was in my late teens when they were at their height of popularity. I was more into trade card games at that time.
I didn't really start collecting toys again until I was in my 20s.
Im just now trying to get into bayblade in my 30s.😅
Pretty much, anything that is Popular enough has fakes, and bootlegs and bayblades are no exception.

I have a lot of mid fakes and lots lots of takara tomy ones and I have pro series a lot and a little bit of metal fusions
I ordered a new collection of metal series the box have 50 beys
Midfakes are better quality than those Chinese knockoffs, beyblades like Big Bang Pegasus work very well and look good. Earth Aquila is very good and only needs a high quality metal wheel to be just as good as the original.
If Midfakes really do come from what you say then someone has to do something about it
Well umm... I agree but what if you have no money??
Then it's best to go to the source, and not get ripped off by third party resellers.
So is Hasbro counted as mid fake since they mess up every release
Is beystation safe from mistakes?
How to check if it is lead?
Using fakes since 2004 plastic gen, I am immune to lead at this point 😂

Nah I still buying beyblade from flame Brand the bey is better than Hasbro having takara Tomy gimmick and cheap iam from asean Malaysia so it's around 40-50rm (10$) not like takara Tomy it's 80-200rm (20-50$).
I buy midfakes because I found my old collection and out of 50 only 2 of them were real which was dark wolf and storm pegasus, I foundout midfakes have no led in them so I bought only 1 which was a meteo L drago and there is no led in it
