I knew beyblade X was going to be a golden era just by the feels at the time. I had just gotten my first job and pre ordered from Japan, then I started reading the manga and watching the anime. This season of beyblade feels like the best of all previous seasons.
i always wanted beyblades to be heavy and like building a car, heavy metal was the closest though i liked the original designs the most. now all beayblades are simply round, thats so boring.

Beyblade X just blows my mind because it is the prime example of big companies actually listening to the fans and getting good results. The end of Burst, the main complaint in Japan was that the Beys were too clunky, complex, and barely bursted, which was, y'know, the WHOLE BLOODY POINT OF THAT ERA OF BEYBLADE. And the main complaint in America was that they legit felt like little plastic simple spinny tops for babies. And guess what. BOTH SIDES LISTENED. Beys now only have 3 parts, very lightweight compared to the 60-70 gram Burst beys, and they added the X-Line so now you have two bullet-speed metal spinners crashing into each other. Of course they're gonna burst now. In America, beys now have the same quality as in Japan, making the game much more fun for all ages. And now, more people are falling in love with Beyblade than ever. Veterans are returning, newcomers are arriving, and publicity is through the roof. I really hope other companies learn from the success of Beyblade X. LISTENING TO THE FANS WORKS.
As a bakugan kid I always thought beyblade was lame, just spinning tops with pictures on them while bakugan actually turned into something Now as an adult, I'm witnessing beyblade turn Into something that actually looks awesome, something that kid me would have loved. I may have outgrown bakugan, but I'm getting something just as cool to replace it lol
@@nugget3687 Same here. I've always liked Beyblade, but Bakugan just seemed better in so many ways (show, collectability, more complex rules). Now I'm not really into Bakugan anymore, but Beyblade is stepping its game up, and I am all for it!
As a teen who grew up with metal fight beyblade i like the return of metal contact points in beyblades and the beys getting smaller unlike the last burst beyblades
I lost my grandfather around 2 years ago in december. Your part about "the golden age" made me burst in tears. My parents always spoilt me early on and grew to distaste toys in general ( i grew out of it later on , dont worry ) I got into beyblade and my grandpa always snuck me after class to buy knock offs bey because we couldnt afford the real ones. I remember he had bought me an original libra because i begged for it once , he fixed a bunch of launchers i broke and even made a makeshift bey stadium for me. I didnt know where my bey went , his moped has been sold , my grandma still despises him and my parents consider him "just" a worker and not a succesfull person. If youre reading this , drop your phone and just live in the moment , breathe it in , the cringyness , the small stuff , the toys you were afraid of being too grown up to play , the friends you distanced from because they didnt grow. One day itll all end I miss him
Kind of awkward perhaps to say this, but I also lost my grandpa 2 years ago, on January. As a kid my (also now deceased) mom would buy me knock off beys because we also couldn't afford the real ones. The first time she did, and we were living with our grandparents at the time, my grandpa was furious at her, but for a reason I didn't expect: he wanted one too so that he could play with me. So the next day she bought another knock off, and every time I wanted a new bey because they were dirt cheap, my mom always had to buy 2. Those memories are really precious, and now I'm thinking of getting back into Beyblade with this iteration.
@@murabitojames sorry to hear that , hopefully you had a lot of good memories with your mom and grandfather. Most of my beys at the time was fake even to the very end actually , only a few like eagle and the green wolf thing ( this was the one where you can flip rings up or down ) was real , that and 2 or 3 libra because it was so op with stamina built. The best bey i had was an illegally moded fake twisted tempo that broke 2 pegasus', truth be told if i had to get original beys i prob wouldnt be as invested back then. Here's to our future hobby
Hi! I'm from a village from Poland - and in my school no one was able to buy original beyblades - so we built our own - from bicycle sprockets and screws :) We tied a string around the screw and the drive was to throw it. The bigger and heavier the gear the better! we "played" with it during breaks at school and generally sometimes someone got hit with it, usually in the leg, but sometimes in the head. It often ended with some wounds and blood. It was the real "golden era" of Beyblade for me :)
Same, here in argentina we used to cut the pointy top of a glue bottle and inserted a broken cd, using a pencil and a thread to spin it. There were some injuries sure, but mostly great memories in times of poverty
The original Beyblades were what got me into building gunpla/plamo kits as an adult. But I also understand why that model just doesn't work for a toy like a battle top. Lol
Ratchets affects height, weight, burstability, and WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION. People keep forgetting that ratchets help with beyblade balance, 5-60's help top heavy blades to keep balance, same as 7-60 (this is why its good for a thick def blade like crest, and for top heavy blades like dragoon, WT, and blackshell)
YES I keep seeing people forget this. While it might feel like nothing in our hands it's makes a difference on the bey. 1-60 is a good example of a ratchet that can be used for unbalanced movement/weight distribution or balancing an unbalanced blade.
I think by far my favorite thing about X is that for the first time in history, TT and Hasbro are ACTUALLY ON PAR It massively increases the competetive scene's ease of access, and not to mention the launchers being the best they've ever been, the beyblades looking amazing, and the sheer intensity of the battles.
7:19 Jake forgot about lower weight distribution (aka just heavier ratchets which is why 5-60 is so popular and 7-60 is really promising). Also while a bit more niche 1-60 has 2 popular purposes that it serves for more agro combos that being it can balance out unbalanced blades and when KO’d it’s really good at knocking itself back into the stadium meaning it lowers the amount of points your opponent gets from wins. These are Ratchet secrets Jake doesn’t want you to know
Something that really has me interested in this gen is that bey construction actually matters, and that's gonna be a huge pull for the older crowd. It was a common joke both as a kid and years later on that the only important parts were the performance tip and the contact point (The blade, fusion wheel, w/e) everything else was for aesthetic. That is not the case in X. The blades affect how you hit the bey, the ratchet affects its defense and lifespan essentially, and the bit affects spin pattern in, as you said, *predictable* ways. Adding even a new ratchet changes your X bey, where as your metal fusion bey would do the exact same thing regardless of what energy wheel or spin track you used. Hell the performance tip really was the most important piece. The predictable customizability where your piece choice actually matters is what will get your TCG players and tabletop nerds in general into this. I actually am building a collection to introduce to my local game store to hopefully start a more hardcore tournament scene up here in Western Washington XD
I don't think so and here is why. While you are right that the tip and the metal wheel are the most important components of the metal beys, there other parts aren't just for show either. (Naturally as a child you don't really care that much about it but if you really want to maximize efficeny as an adult, you do tend to notice those crucial informations). -First, the track. Probably one of the versatilest pieces because there are alot of different variants, shapes and forms. I don't want to go into the specifics and you probably don't want to hear them as well (which is understandable) but they do in fact influence the beys while spinning, besides their weight of course. -Secondly, the clear wheel. While the clear wheel seems useless at first, it is actually crucial to allow different "modes" of a bey by exposing different surfaces of the metal wheel, naturally their weight also contributes to the beys performance as well. -Thirdly, the bolt. At first you might say that the bolt doesn't really do anything (besides contributing to the beys weight) and I would somewhat agree. But, I would argue that its main functionality besides holding the bey parts together obviously is allowing different bey parts to be exchanged and held together effortlessly. Before you brand me as somebody stupid, let me explain. Some bolts have length differences for the reason that they were designed with the whole bey in mind and some universally. While with the "regular beyblade parts" (the ones you see in the show) you would have no issue using the regular bolts (at least mostly), you would see problems if you were trying to use those parts that were made and not featured in the show, therefore you would need a bigger bolt. As you can see, if you break each part down and analyze them as they are, you can actually notice that every part in the metal beys has its purpose.
Beyblade has celebrated the franchise's 25th anniversary. Seeing this much popularity is more than the previous generations with the playerbase getting bigger and bigger! This is to show that a simple game mechanic while adding new gimmicks, strategy-based customization, collectible value, and a dedicated playerbase, show that Beyblade is not just a game that will last as a fad, but a hobby that has been tested by time.
The Ratchet BTW, determines the height, and where the burst gimmick is located (unlike in Burst which is located in the Layer part). It's important in customization because the bey should withstand low hits to avoid losing by a Burst Finish given that this generation of beys tend to tilt in lower angles.
I was five years old when Beyblade launched stateside, and my cousin picked me out my first bey, Dragoon Storm. History would repeat itself twice over with that same cousin giving me my first Burst bey, Xcalius X2, and recently my first X bey, Sword Dran. I can't say for certain if Beyblade X is the final form of the icononic Japanese spinning top, But it comes pretty dang close. Also, I absolutely loved the ending message. It gave me a deeper sense of understanding why folks my age think the way they do, and enjoy the things we enjoy. Hearing that message further solidified my drive(car pun intended) for collecting kid's toys from my youth. Here's hoping that Mattel acknowledges AcceleRacers' existence for a 20th anniversary celebration, followed by a Hot Wheels 60th anniversary.
For ratchets, there’s 3 things you’re mainly looking for in them, burst resistance, height, and weight. Something like 7-60 is the heaviest ratchet, and while it may not be the heaviest ratchet, it is heavy which is good for attack and defense. Something like 9 sided ratchets will have higher burst resistance because they’re much rounder, however they’re also lighter so they’re not as good for defense and attack but you don’t have to worry about bursting. Higher heights are also useful despite what was said, some things such as Tyranno Beat are great at hitting down so you want them higher than your opponent on 70/80 height ratchets. Higher stamina types can also sit on top of the shorter ones, however higher center of mass makes it so you have less pure stamina. Some other things like LAD and escaping pockets are important, 9-60 is very round which lets it spin longer when the bey can no longer keep itself upright so it spins more smoothly. 1-60 is also unbalanced and almost oval shaped which allows beys to smack themselves out of the pockets and come back in instead of being koed, 1-60 can also be used to balance tune combos.
THat last part nearly made me cry, nostalgia of a golden era is so powerful. It sucks to see when other ips try to recreate that and only tarnish it when things like bakugan and beyblade just refreshed it, created new ones. Thanks for showing this, Jett. I'm excited to try the new beyblades
Just wanted to say thanks. The algorithm fed me your vids a while back, I've enjoyed a few. I watched this particular vid a few months ago and I started to look into beyblade x because of it. Over Christmas my family planned to have some bey battles. My 7 year old daughter is loving it and it's given us something super fun and lasting to bond over. Is it a little expensive? It can be but you can't really put a price on happiness! Thanks!
Beyblade X has sparked my childhood, And truly made it feel fun. Completely fell of on it after the Original series and the memories of busting knuckles on the blades. Randomly came across a Video on tiktok showing a 3d printed launcher and the Beyblade x series and immediately knew this was it, time to reclaim that love I had. And as soon as I bought the stadium set and a couple sets it just felt soooo good on the launch and the sound they made colliding scratched an itch I didn't know I had. Its simple yet enough Variations it doesn't feel overwhelming trying to get started.
The two sides of Jett Kuso: Haha the tops go spin Impermanence is the only permanent thing. Appreciate what you can now so you will have it to reflect on and not to regret missing.
I honestly feel the same way with how this new generation of Beyblade has gotten me back into a good nostalgia trip, specially after importing both Dranzer and Driger. Something about all this feels good, albeit short lived, which is why I've told all my friends about this new format and they've all gotten excited over it, one friend in particular is waiting in anticipation for when they bring back Draciel in the X format. I hope this generation stays for as long as it can, but even if it does go away or changes for the worse, at least Beyblade X is giving me back some childhood joy.
18:14 i honestly felt this one in my heart, i cried when Burst was over. me and my lil bro were there from the begining. we watched everyone grow up, all the beys evolve... im going to miss Beyblade Burst (yes i used this as an excuse to talk about how sad i am Burst is gone)
Great video!! I started Beyblade X after only ever being into the OG era and its sooooo much funn!! Plus the star wars and marvel colabs make it super cool tooo!!
I didn’t expect for a video about Beyblade to make me break into tears… But here we are. I got into Beyblade X last year because of you, Jett. It was a franchise I was always aware of but never thought would be right for me… Until your Bakugan reboot video and it made me curious. Now my husband and I are both obsessed, even a full year later. Documenting matches and doing weights and measures and theory crafting decks with each other. Unfortunately it looks like my local scene tried X out and decided to go back to older generations but this might have been the push I need to just…. start one on my own.
the biggest indicator of how big beyblade x is how many tournaments there are even tho it's only 1st wave of the gen. Like here in Indonesia, there's already a national tournament planned later this year. Both metal fight and burst took a while to get this level of interest from people, meanwhile bbx did it within less than 2 year.
Never forget the whacky stickers, the plastic screws and click in conections that didnt hold. Was the same with the launchers. Todays product seems much better fabricated, i might give it a try
The boring feel and attack types always losing were because of Hasbro's stadiums. Takara's stadiums weren't fully covered with walls so attack types could usually KO with ease. Metal Fight Limited is one of the most balanced formats out there for all of Beyblade.
My best friend loved playing beyblade, he even had a toolbox full of beyblades parts. He'll let me use whatever beyblade I'd liked tho I never really got into it cuz i fee like it was childish at that time (we were uni students). His enthusiasm just draws everyone around him to play too and watching this vid made me reminisced about those days. Alas, covid came and took him from this world. RIP Hanif, i missed you so much my good friend.
I feel like most of the usual stamina bits (ball/orb) losing you a point feels like a change made exclusively for wizard rod since it disincentivises you from running stamina period, other than that i love it
Beyblade is and will always be my favorite game. And Beyblade X has reignited my passion for it, the intense battles and spectacular finishes is what pulled me in too.
The end of this video is wonderful. Nostalgia got me into Beyblade X, but the love of this being so fresh is easily the best part of why I'm staying in it. In a world of jacked up pokemon and MTG cards, this is a fantastic affordable replacement.
coming out of MMO addiction one time (it keeps happening, I know) I realized just how important hobbies are, so your (seemingly regularly scheduled) emotional ending to this video hits home. I've long since stopped caring what hobbies are "toys for children" or "just a game" in favour of enjoying whatever it is I want to spend time with because otherwise I will just pick an MMO and get so absorbed in that that I lose an entire 3 months of my life and I need to start giving myself a "Weekly Quest" checklist so I remember to keep up with my 2 walks a week lol
So funny thing about the Limited parts handicap, I don't know if every scene does it, but the Metal Needle Bit is banned, not because it's OP (it's just meh for a stamina type, and the fact that S-tier Ball exists), but because I'm not about to mess with a part that'll just destroy a stadium.
It's so fun. I haven't touched beyblade since I was a kid. I saw the stadium for x with the two blades and grabbed them. My wife and I have been playing non stop
I think you misunderstood TT’s stance on the limited list. It was only intended for a 1 on 1 format where each player only uses one bey. This is the format for the early rounds of Japan tournaments. The standard 3 on 3 format wasn’t intended to be used with the limited list. Furthermore the limited list was tested for use in one trial tournament in June and then subsequently it was decided that the list would not be implemented.
Your talk about the good ole days made me very sad. I feel like memories are all I have and every time I feel content, everything changes. I like this video.
To be clear on the Limited Rule, it was only used on one major tournament in Japan because they had reporters flying in from other countries, it has not been seen since
I just wanted to pop in and say that the moment you started talking about the different golden ages of our lives I welled up with emotions and hit that bell. Your video on the whole was excellent, but you bring it to a finish that will force me to share it with anyone who will listen.
It's so cool to see that Beyblade X has brought so many people both returning and newcomers into it!! This really is the Golden Era!! Awesome video, Jett!
I think X will get more complex and customisable as time goes on and if they add gimmics and different materials to the beys. But as of right now seems like we are indeed in the golden era and I think it won’t change even if the beys get heavier and more complex.
Dude ever since I saw a video of some dudes on Twitter launching the shit out of their beyblades only for them to be hooked on the track and launch them around like a bursting piston rod, I have been hooked on beyblade x.
The Metal Fusion era ABSOLUTELY allowed high mobility builds with extreme punch ! The only issue is that they simply did not have the winrate so doing such builds was not worth it if you wanted to go for the win when balance and heavy defense beys would roll you. You would have ton of fun with an opponent that really was in to test the power tho and I also got some finger injuries on this era. But I agree the new design is amazing for this and Im so excited
Beyblade X feels like everything I want in beyblade Even if I still dont like the burst mechanic (feels like a cheap way to win imo). I still love how X puts emphasis on part combos and launch styles Now more than ever customization and how you launch mean a heck of a lot
This is why I love the turbo stadium so much, they always go back to the center of the stadium. Less spinning very fast around your aponent for an hour and then going into the pocket and losing.
As someone who has hovered around beyblade for 10+ years and dipped out juust as burst had it’s last line to then return to X and through Hasbro of all things, yeah it’s wild how well X has taken off and how good it is generally. The Anime/Manga is the closest we’ve seen since early burst to a series that treats the game more like a sport than a save the world adventure. The game itself has taken the best aspects of each previous generation and created something that fulfills the nostalgia of older players while also adding a new element that creates hype and also hooks in new audiences. And the means that have been taken at least early on to open the game up not only to kids but adults who have been fans of various hobbies to show how seriously it can be taken is really nice. Like it’s so good that there is a local environment in my city when I’d barely been able to see one for the last 5-6 years I had tried beyblade, and it’s next to a fighting game venue that has also slowly taken an interest in it too. I really hope it keeps up and at least expands to the point where we can have a proper world, national, or regional tournament again.
Y’know you say that you get predictable with these emotional endings, but personally I feel it’s what I love about these videos, and keep me coming back
A few late thoughts of interest. For my play group our golden era was different. It was actually the last two Summers before the TCG was unceremoniously abandoned. That's when I got into the game and dragged my friends into it with me and found new friends to enable each other with. It was fantastic (and it ended with a deck modeled after mine winning your big tournament). Your golden era isn't the same as others. That's actually why I likely won't get into Bayblade X. I was interested, but wasn't able to drum up a lot of interest from other folks around me. I was, however, able to connect with new friends who got me into Warhammer 40k, and in turn I got some old friends into it too. It's a different golden era, but it'll be ours. And we'll keep having more. I'm choosing to view it less like the good old days, and more like story arcs. We had our Bakugan Arc, and our Destiny 2 Arc, and now we're entering our Warhammer Arc. I'm excited, and I hope you all enjoy your stories and golden eras too!
thanks alot Jett didnt think this video would make me tear up at 7am..but man that ending...you my friend just gained a new sub cant wait to see whats to come on this channel

Dear JettKuso this video is a master piece you reminded me "the good old days" and and to live in the present to have more nostagic moments thank you for this video♥
Yo man just letting you know after watching this video a few months ago my friend group of late 20 somethings are now all beyblade battling every weekend.
Never touched a beyblade in my life, but bought some of these as kinda a joke to make my friends play with. We ended up playing for like 3 hours , it was no joke that what they did with the X stuff is a lot more exciting overall.
Back in 2017-2019 we had a Beyblade School club where we used to battle every day. We had different formats from burst to metalfights. It was like 20-30 kids in the schoolyard just battling.
I recently got into Beyblade X as well, and have been lucky enough to have friends who are willing to play with me, and it’s truly been so much fun and brought me back to my childhood when I’d play with the Metal Fight beys. Absolutely amazing video as Always Jett :)
Brilliant ending. It kinda made me emotional ngl. Gratitude Journaling does not work for me, as it reminds me how much could lose. Makes me terrified. But the way you put it, was a better way to look at it.
the whole thing about balancing the meta is super important. in burst for example there was a whole era where everyone was just using the exact same spriggan requiem combo lmao
Ratchets dictate burst resistance, as well as height. The bumps on a ratchet can be hit by other beys, so the shape can influence how easy it is for an opposing blade to catch and push. 1, 3, and 9 sided ratchets are really round, 5 and 7 sided ratchets are thick and bulky, and 2 and 4 sided ratchets are really square. The more square it is, the easier it is to be pushed, where rounder ratchets are easier to deflect enemy blades. The height dictates how tall your bey is. A tall bey gainst a lower bey, you might be able to avoid ratchet contact (which can lead to bursting), or it can expose the ratchet for contact. There are 3 heights currently; 60, 70, and 80. If you're an attack or balance type, it's always safe to run a short height ratchet. As for defense and stamina, I don't really know too much to define that meta.
another thing about ratchets, the points affect weight distribution as well. The reason why some ratchets are better than others as well is the more blockier the points, the more your bey will burst
the voice and comment at 10:04 had me laughing its so true. I remember watching another video of yours talking about how B-Daman in japan had a "gat" launcher and it never came over here because NO! TOO DANGEROUS

Hi! I'm from a village from Poland - and in my school no one was able to buy original beyblades - so we built our own - from bicycle sprockets and screws :)
We tied a string around the screw and the drive was to throw it.
There were some injuries sure, but mostly great memories in times of poverty
don't get used to this rapid upload schedule... Deadlines be deadlines, but enjoy the stacked fruits of my labor!
too late, we want more (seriously though, don't burn yourself out 😅)
(sidenote : if you're up for it, and Nuc doesn't mind, more beyblade vids with your style would be fun ^^)
A jettkuso video exclusively for the spinniest tops to ever top ?? A blessed day for bey, truly
I think by far my favorite thing about X is that for the first time in history, TT and Hasbro are ACTUALLY ON PAR
It massively increases the competetive scene's ease of access, and not to mention the launchers being the best they've ever been, the beyblades looking amazing, and the sheer intensity of the battles.
"I'm new to beyblades" Could have fooled me. That one bakugan stream made you look like a total expert.
AcceleRacers is the best Hot Wheels has even been
@@TMAMovie It really was, even if it didn't *visually* age well.
I hope Jett Kuso mentions AcceleRacers in a Hot Wheels video, if he does one.
What a great video!
Hah, indeed mermão.
Caramba até o beyga aq
Using homestuck as a example is godly, especially since homestuck fans have basically been trying to recapture that feeling AKA when they were 14
Just wanted to say thanks.
The two sides of Jett Kuso:
Haha the tops go spin
Impermanence is the only permanent thing.
18:14 i honestly felt this one in my heart, i cried when Burst was over. me and my lil bro were there from the begining. we watched everyone grow up, all the beys evolve... im going to miss Beyblade Burst
(yes i used this as an excuse to talk about how sad i am Burst is gone)
Todays product seems much better fabricated, i might give it a try
i hope this movement also reflects in more countries such as brazil!
The boring feel and attack types always losing were because of Hasbro's stadiums. Takara's stadiums weren't fully covered with walls so attack types could usually KO with ease. Metal Fight Limited is one of the most balanced formats out there for all of Beyblade.
Interesting!
The good old day of beyblade is when you build it yourself by snip each parts off and put it together.
These are the good old days
It’s Nizuma!
5:50 I have no idea...
😅
Time to see what comes first, Jett winning a tournament with Wizard Arrow or you winning one with Leon Claw
❤
Not sure why, but this is among the single most evocative lines of text I've ever read. Stealing it
My best friend loved playing beyblade, he even had a toolbox full of beyblades parts.
I feel like most of the usual stamina bits (ball/orb) losing you a point feels like a change made exclusively for wizard rod since it disincentivises you from running stamina period, other than that i love it
4:51 say that again, but slowly 🧐
Part 3 just…touching 🥹
Plz
im not gonna lie, the end of this video really made me think and brought a tear to my eye. wonderful video.
5:40 HEY METAL FUSION BOLT CUSTOMIZATION WAS PEAK, THOSE BEYS WOULD NEVER COME APART IN THE RING BECAUSE THEY WERE CONFIGURED NOT TO FALL APART
Great video with a hit of nostalgia! Subbed
It's so fun. I haven't touched beyblade since I was a kid. I saw the stadium for x with the two blades and grabbed them. My wife and I have been playing non stop
Now that’s wholesome 😄
7:42 SHADOW WIZARD MONEY GANG!!!!!!!!
We love casting spells. 🦅

I think you misunderstood TT’s stance on the limited list. It was only intended for a 1 on 1 format where each player only uses one bey. This is the format for the early rounds of Japan tournaments. The standard 3 on 3 format wasn’t intended to be used with the limited list. Furthermore the limited list was tested for use in one trial tournament in June and then subsequently it was decided that the list would not be implemented.
arrow wizard money gang... we love letting it rip
Your talk about the good ole days made me very sad. I feel like memories are all I have and every time I feel content, everything changes. I like this video.
To be clear on the Limited Rule, it was only used on one major tournament in Japan because they had reporters flying in from other countries, it has not been seen since
SO YOU JOINED THE DARK SIDE HUH?!?! WELCOME!!! 🖤🙏🏿🙏🏿
Yes
Love it
Yes :)
"something in your life, right now, will be one of the things you want to go back to someday" did not need to resonate so powerfully within me
when this man covers competitive aspect this man will hate wizard rod 9-60 ball
I think I’m more exhausted by people talking about it so much than I could ever get by battling it.
i always obliterate wizard rod with my hell scythe
I just wanted to pop in and say that the moment you started talking about the different golden ages of our lives I welled up with emotions and hit that bell. Your video on the whole was excellent, but you bring it to a finish that will force me to share it with anyone who will listen.
Bro the 18:50ish to 21:20ish mark was so well said you literally had me almost tearing up. Unbelievable video, very well done!
your speech about "Good Old days" really touch my heart and made me think that after spend my money on beyblades is worth i, thanks man
It's so cool to see that Beyblade X has brought so many people both returning and newcomers into it!! This really is the Golden Era!! Awesome video, Jett!
I think X will get more complex and customisable as time goes on and if they add gimmics and different materials to the beys. But as of right now seems like we are indeed in the golden era and I think it won’t change even if the beys get heavier and more complex.
loved beyblade during the metal series eta, might start getting back into it because these new bey fights look amazing for Beyblade X
Beyblade X feels like everything I want in beyblade
Even if I still dont like the burst mechanic (feels like a cheap way to win imo). I still love how X puts emphasis on part combos and launch styles
Now more than ever customization and how you launch mean a heck of a lot
This is why I love the turbo stadium so much, they always go back to the center of the stadium. Less spinning very fast around your aponent for an hour and then going into the pocket and losing.
(The one from Hasbro)
10:18 “marketed to boys of all ages and genders”💀💀💀
This is an absolutely wonderful way to think about it. Thank you for the story.
Just incase anyone is curious song at the start is called super riser
3:42 Why was that so bloody smooth tho 🔥🔥
If you like wizard arrow the best combo for it is 3-60 taper
thanks alot Jett didnt think this video would make me tear up at 7am..but man that ending...you my friend just gained a new sub cant wait to see whats to come on this channel
"Apparently this bey is missing parts, seems fine to me, but I don't know what I'm talking about" 😂😂
HOLY SHIT A BEYBLADE VIDEO FROM JETTKUSO
holy shit it's delty
as a father of young children that just discovered your awesome channel and also Beyblade X, please dive head first into Beyblade X! It truly is a great hobby that is fun for adults (parents or not) and kids, they've nailed it.
Dear JettKuso this video is a master piece you reminded me "the good old days" and and to live in the present to have more nostagic moments thank you for this video♥
20:24 SHADOW WIZARD MONEY DUEL WE LOVE CASTING SPELLS!!! 🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yo man just letting you know after watching this video a few months ago my friend group of late 20 somethings are now all beyblade battling every weekend.
"every fanum has one" 0:17
Never touched a beyblade in my life, but bought some of these as kinda a joke to make my friends play with. We ended up playing for like 3 hours , it was no joke that what they did with the X stuff is a lot more exciting overall.
4:46 shadow wizard money gang we love casting spells
Your monologue about knowing when you're living in the good old days made me cry I hope you're happy.
me when it takes 4 minutes to get to the video subject matter
Back in 2017-2019 we had a Beyblade School club where we used to battle every day. We had different formats from burst to metalfights. It was like 20-30 kids in the schoolyard just battling.
I loved the beyblade part of this video, but damn that speech at the end hit different 😂 You really made me think about this past year huh
I recently got into Beyblade X as well, and have been lucky enough to have friends who are willing to play with me, and it’s truly been so much fun and brought me back to my childhood when I’d play with the Metal Fight beys. Absolutely amazing video as Always Jett :)
12:04 the way my Yugioh Brain Tingled when I heard Synchro 😂😂😂😂
Brilliant ending. It kinda made me emotional ngl. Gratitude Journaling does not work for me, as it reminds me how much could lose. Makes me terrified. But the way you put it, was a better way to look at it.
I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING TO SEE MORE OF THE GOLDEN ERA OF BEYBLADE THANK YOU FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL VIDEO!
the whole thing about balancing the meta is super important. in burst for example there was a whole era where everyone was just using the exact same spriggan requiem combo lmao
0:30 we still live
The beys that look like candy! So colorful!
Sorry I know the intro song isn’t owned by him or anything, but whenever I hear that song, I get Pavlov’s Dog’d for a Gigguk seasonal anime video.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t trying to take advantage of the song’s positive content associations lol
@@JettKuso well you sure did. Anyway, great video
another thing about ratchets, the points affect weight distribution as well.
7:40 WIZARD ARROW REP LETS GO!!! My favourite bey before hells hammer released lol
Liked for the fun intro to beyblade; subbed for the deep and beautiful final message
I am so happy I subscribed to you like 1,5year ago. LOVE YOUR CONTENT. Hope Babyblade will support you!
