- CBSLA's Jeff Nguyen talked to Cotie Davis, sister of 23-year-old Asherey Ryan, who was killed in Thursday's chain reaction crash along with her son who was a week shy of his first birthday and her unborn child.
If I was a nurse tending to her in the hospital I would make her watch the interviews of the families mourning to feel the extremity of their pain!!!
It was an RN, drunk and had just gotten into an argument with her bf. I heard that the pregnant woman’s bf was also killed in the crash. Rest in peace. Breaks my heart. 😞

So did the driver purposely drive that fast? When I saw the video I thought the gas pedal had to have gotten stuck but if she did it herself then she is a maniac and needs to be locked up for life.
She is /was a Kaiser nurse who had left an event where she had been drinking a lot due to being upset about an argument with her boyfriend. I hope she gets life without the possibility of parole. She definitely was speeding and ran a red light!!! How selfish! If you want to get drunk; get a cab or a ride with a friend! As a nurse she should have known that!!!

It's supposed to be a joyous time for this poor family as they are supposed to start preparing for arrival of baby boy but instead planning a funeral for them. Went from feeling good behind the wheel to feeling horrible in jail. Drunk or not. The neglect is what gets me. It's like she was driving with her eyes closed or wanted to hit those people. Either way its demonic on the drivers part!
