Matt your totally infectious absolutely 💯 luv ya work I'm switching after 38 years of synthetics to organic and god delivered matt into my home thank you so much for your help 😊 your book is in my basket and I'm fanging to get my hands on it love peace and respect 🙏 to you and your mob philgood in London
Thank you sooo much Matt for sharing all your work it’s sooo helpful and I’m so grateful to be part of this community and to finally understand as a farmer that I am a citizen scientist from day one of farming and no one tell me that I’m not a scientist
Btw you have already started to change my life through understanding microbiology. The more we learn about the world, about humans etc, the more we learn about ourselves. I think we are a lot more alike than different.
I’m interested in learning all I can about regenerative soil and want to apply all these principles in my outdoor garden and greenhouse garden I’m starting currently thanks Matt for the information
So I wanted to know if you could use a static compost like a Johnson su compost and inoculate your legume cover crops to get good nodules on the roots my pile is aged over two years I inoculated all my cover crops last fall before seeding and spread a thin layer ontop of the cover crops and I checked the hairy vetch last week was a small plant and it had fat nodulation I’m excited that I’m going in the right direction multi species cover crop and good well aged compost and my soil is improving every year
Bro! This is my calling. I NEED to do this! I'm saving for the microscope, then will sign up for classes. Working blind here to start practicing. I'm gonna need to wear my body back in first anyway. I'm 100% down to expand the database as a living. I believe in this mission. Edit: I DON'T HAVE THE BOOK YET!!! 😆
Thank you for making this. I'm about to go though Soil Food Web. Even Clarkson's farm on Netflix Has raised awareness on the chemicals we are feeding the plants.
Finaally got a microscope!! Now I need both your books but seems you dont have a digital version of the microscopy book ??? Can you confirm please Mr Powers? Been following you for over 5years!! Your a legendd ❤
Hi Saul! The ebook is only available for to students currently. Would love to have you join us in the full program!! matt-powers.mykajabi.com/regenerative-soil-microscopy-the-online-course
Great! 😃 I have been looking at that but a bit pricey in my Aussie currency at the moment, just bought our tractor so little broke 😅 anychance you will set up a 12 month payment scheme ? Much love ❤ and I will see you soon in the course hopefully 😀
I think Elaine’s mission is to make everything related to the sfw really simple, these new technologies are a bit more complex and not totally necessary for practitioners. This is awesome don’t get me wrong, but it’s not absolutely necessary to get an understanding of soil health.
@@Dresoilson what crops have you experimented so far with the different compost for different crops ? So to see how it went for you. I’m conducting some myself
where’s the 45/50% off coupon go to? ive been on the skirts about an LW i4 epi with infinity plan, which i think is what you have. know anywhere to get that reasonably?
Hi Bro - it's 45% off on the PowerPackage - my exact setup, and it's for those who signup for the course in the opening section of the course. I hope you can join us!
I have a masters degree in Education focused on research-based best practices & developmental and educational psychology, and I've been writing books (or trying to) since high school - the first curriculum I wrote was in 2006. I had to learn how to learn at a different level first - then I was able to acquire new learning in a very different way, such that I was able to fold time, and do things completely differently from other folks - that's also why I can combine my learning so easily and connect things. I'm going to write a book on this side of things with my eldest son in the next couple years. The most important thing to realize is that I didn't have to go to a university to gain these skills and understanding - in fact, they are now adopting my curriculum to correct, update, refine, and connect their learning to what actually works in the field. You can learn all this - and you can actually see if your work is working. The ability to replicate the work I do and post it on the R-Soil database and have it be powerful and pragmatically useful to you and everyone is my end goal. Once we have the feedback loops between nature and ourselves in place, the learning and growth will be exponential as we differentiate good, better, and best and steer towards the best season after season.
What is your take on gypsum? It’s pH is in between eight and 9.5. The plants seems to love being inoculated with that every so often. It is my feeling that the intelligence and the network of roots can handle and be selective when touring through aggregated soil. It seems to choose what it can handle as far as pH goes as long as the soil itself is not SATURATED with TOO high alkaline or too low acidic soil.?

Hummingbird-Spent grain needs vit c to become energy again. I mixed it with Biochar and have questions on adding vit c source back into the mix.
Amazing info! Wow 👌🏾
I remember my uncle considering whether to get one of these, or not, back in the day. Argo sent him a video, and those things are absolute beasts.
Such an inspiration. Since connection is the meaning of life we need to hyphae to the root of all "evil", flip it to live!
Awesome 🤩

Hummingbird- learned that the root lights up down under 🌱❤️👩🏽🌾
I don't understand why I don't hear Elaine talk more about all these new findings... she should be so proud what her pioneer work leads to
Mybee it is rest time for her!!!!
@@clairedgaia3626 maybe, but her organisation is still bringen people together, so still a lot of good work going on.

Hey Matt, what did you study in school to get started? What made you get into this?

Everyone on this site is
a student ...correct....anyone who can spell Arbuscular; Am I right?.
I do have difficulty spelling mycorrhizal though. Gotta get the mycorrhizae life cycle charted. Most likely explained thoroughly in your books.
