Hi Guys, Is your product available in Australia. I have been looking at using exposed aggregate mixed with concrete spread over some type of adhesive at around 25mm or 1" in US. Everyone tells me it will crack, so your product could be a great alternative. I have about 150 sq met or 180 sq ft to cover. I was also looking at around 4'6" wide and leave a 5 mm space where I could grout for effect. I might look at your web site.

What about areas that freeze? Of this is permeable then water will be trapped once it reaches the concrete? If water is allowed inside then it freezes? Does it yellow in the Sun?
Yes! If Gravel-Lok is designed properly with drainage in mind, it will absolutely do well in areas with freeze and thaw cycles. This means that the pavement should be slightly graded, which is really a typical installation technique for any pavement. If necessary, install drainage below to carry away an excess water. As long as the pavement can drain, it will not have any issues.

Coverage rate for this step is about 90 sf per gallon or 450 sf per five gallon container. Regarding your second question, since Gravel-Lok has a 24 hour cure time, in order to install it in a vertical space you need to build a "form" of wood, lining it with plastic such as a heavy duty contractor trash bag, to prevent the pebbles from sticking to the wood. The Clear formula is more expensive than the Amber because it contains UV additives.
