No cell service, high clearance vehicles required, and the ever changing weather are just some of the limitations that most tourist run in to.

If you do much of this remote exploring it is worthwhile to pay the small yearly fee for GAIA gps. You can download the maps to your phone before you go and they will work in places where you don't have cell signal.

🤣😂consistency is good I hear. and yes drive-in back was different, you cant see any more than your headlights, and Bambi had a scared face most of the ride.

Good tip for getting in from the visitor center. Did they mention what time of the year is best to visit?
When its been dry for a while, with rain its very muddy and easy to get stuck. summers are hot so bring plenty of water, this was in November/December and I thought it was perfect!
Beautiful place. 4x4 highly-recommended but not required. My friend's 2WD Lexus RX350 did the gatekeeper with proper spotting.
