I wonder if you could load that sd card on your PC and run it through a program that will clean it and delete duplicates, might actually make it decent if you could do that.
I think that if they are going to have all the games from multi-regions they need to separate them for each individual region like most flash cards do.
I don't think any of them are really losing anything. They're not releasing most of this anywhere, and obviously, they make zero on second-hand sales anyway. This would cost them way more to take to court than it would be worth. I'm not saying that makes it legal...
If anything, the big gaming companies probably make a little money on the backside gaining fans of certain franchises and what not. They aren’t making anything off these old games anyway and it’s sort of free advertising and marketing.

Thanks for the video and honest review. Tons of respect to you. Seems they r improving these devices. Better chip and now with cooling. I got one for my brother about a year ago. He loved it but it could have been better.
I got one of these in the mail today. Offhand I'm still learning how to use it. I can't really say anything bad about it yet other than the fact that if you want to play WWF wrestlefest you have to play it on Arcade Classics, for me it didn't load up on Mame. But I got it to load up on Arcade Classics. I played Super Mario RPG, and Beavis and Butthead on Sega. Honestly the one thing I will point out is having one of these either this one or another version, I'm thinking of getting a portable version, these things are cool. But there are so many games on this thing it's really overwhelming. It's a cool thing to have if you have an extra two hundred bucks or an extra hundred dollars and not everyone has spending money to blow. But I can see that I'm going to be going down to my local classic game store still buying cartridges and disc because these systems are so massive most people dont have video game collections like this in their lifetimes. So I think this is cool but it's overwhelming. It's like inheriting a local book library in one shot.
On the missing power button. You can get in line power switches that go between the console and power brick. Not as nice as a built in on/off button but better than unplugging/plugging all the time.
I'm pretty computer literate, and in college I softmodded my Nintendo Wii with homebrew, so I'm confident I can make my own rom/emu set up with a raspberri pi or whatever people are using. Where should I start? Having my childhood in one single box would be nice, as I'm slowly but surely selling my old school game collection among other things in preparation to live light and travel.
ROM Hacks included is a huge bonus. Many of them are better than the original games and they’re a pain in the butt to patch each rom file individually and organize it into the collection.
My son bought one of these last year and it only lasted 2 months before power supply jack started getting loose and we had to fix it. The power supply cord also broke and we had to replace that. Also runs hot so need to have a fan blowing on it or elevate it. The older games play well, newer ones run slow because chip isn't fast enough. I personally would spend more and get a mini-pc Beelink or something better.

Hey Buyer's Beware: Hey Mr. Pixel and other watchers, I ordered a Cube X3. Mine only took 4 days to get here. I have to say, I started out in a menu called Classic Arcades. Every game I checked out EXCEPT Ninja Baseball Batman in the Classic Arcades list loaded. For years Eightman and Denjin Makai were broken roms, The Punisher Japanese Arcade, Golden Axe The Revenge of Death Adder, Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon are here. Now I had to go to the Final Burn Alpha game core list to get a version of Ninja Baseball Batman to load, so YES I DID get it to work. Under the Classic Arcades game list most every game loads an auto core that works with no headaches. Like I said, so far the only game I had to search out in a different core to make work was Ninja Baseball Batman. Its been 48 hours since I started playing on this thing. The main games I wanted to own and play work. So far I've only played True Lies on SNES emulator. you should be able to change the emulator that mame uses. On the super console X you can, within the menu of the roms somewhere. Had to do that on mine.

This was more than I expected. Just wanted to see the old school NES game list, nice to see that it covers a variety of console games. Seems worth the buy. 👍🏼
Same here. My Original Xbox had tens of thousands of games on it but the Xbox just died the other day when I tried powering it up. @@josephbradshaw6985 You can easily softmod a wii and play a ton of games. It will run all the nes, snes, genesis games no problem along with gamecube and wii games. There's adapters to use original controllers to wii consoles too. Ps2's fats aren't that bad, little more involved than just softmodding a wii. Either route you will be happy.
Glad you're reviewing all these devices, the market is flooded with emulators and it's hard buying any without truly knowing what you're getting into. For handheld, I ordered an Anbernic, but which would you (and anyone reading) recommend as the best home emulator?
@@newyorktechworld6492 Well I guess that goes without saying, but I meant between these lesser devices from China... looking to knock a couple hundred off to play the same classic games, you know?
A decent PC made in the past few years/something like the Steam Deck. If you want to emulate most systems/games, you're going to need a system with a modern, higher-clocked CPU, a decent amount of RAM and fairly modern GPU (though the CPU and to a much lesser degree, the RAM are far more important when it comes to emulation) - you're never going to have a good experience with newer systems on these $50-100 devices, think about it - they're selling these at a profit for $50-100, so that doesn't leave a lot of margin for using the best SoCs.
I am curious on the PS2 games such as 1. Jak & Daxter 1,2,3,4 2. Ratchet & Clank 1,2,3,4 3. Dark Cloud 1 and 2 4. Sly Cooper 1,2,3 Please let me know those games are in there and how they perform, Thank you very much.
I bought a preloaded system in the pastn and even once tried to make one from scratch with a better chip set. The only reason I would get this one is the fact that it has active cooling and looks like a console than a TV box. Plus, it's probably cheaper than a raspberry pi or an odroid.
These devices would actually be really cool if they wouldn't just break right away I had a friend that bought one and it quit after using it like twice. It was the first generation super console x-cube tho but still
@@johnnysalazar5399 sounds pretty much like what happened to my friend only difference is he spent more than 80 he spent like 120. @anime master I have the knock off mini nes, it's been working good so far considering I had it since 2019, the only complaint I have is how the control buttons break off, I'll have to glue it back together
I am amazed that these rom dump devices are allowed on legitimate retailers like Amazon. You'd think Nintendo alone would have the clout to keep these things off Amazon.
this is why i would rather compile my own rom set lists instead of premade ones, this saves time a bit configurating everything but that's about it tbh
You got enough game in there for life :) This is propably configured retroarch (graphics looks nice) + some mini itx hardware? Everything looks really ok. I would replace pads - I guess you can just plug any usb/bt?
Imagine having a console with only all Nintendo arcade games, all Game & Watch games, all Famicom/NES games, all Game Boy games, all Super Famicom/Super NES games, all Virtual Boy games, all N64 & 64DD games, all Satellaview games, all Game Boy Color games, all Game Boy Advance games, all GameCube games, all DS games, all Wii games, all 3DS games, all Wii U games, and all Switch games!
So, I get that inside most of these it's basically just a Raspberry Pi, and I know companies like PCBWay can build you custom boards, but how does one go about getting the cases for these consoles made? Do you just find a plastics factory and hit them up?
First time watcher - stayed til the end 👍 thanks for the vid...ive always wondered if we would ever have a clean, tidy dump of 1000 best games that run flawless on one of these. The delay always gets me...is that a think anymore with newer emulators?

There's adapters to use original controllers to wii consoles too. Ps2's fats aren't that bad, little more involved than just softmodding a wii. Either route you will be happy.
@josephbradshaw6985 how can I find GameCube does this has GameCube games?
I bought one of these and have had a blast with my kids
Glad you're reviewing all these devices, the market is flooded with emulators and it's hard buying any without truly knowing what you're getting into.
For handheld, I ordered an Anbernic, but which would you (and anyone reading) recommend as the best home emulator?
SteamDeck
@@newyorktechworld6492 Well I guess that goes without saying, but I meant between these lesser devices from China... looking to knock a couple hundred off to play the same classic games, you know?
From what I’ve seen I think the super console x pro is the best
@@EL_RCM Ah, forgot I posted here too; I went with the 353V, classic GBC style in Atomic Purple.
“What a crock of.. ass”
😂 love it thanks for that gem
I actually wish you would give them five stars and see what happens with the thousands of 3d game download 😂😂😂.
This system is priced about $140 CAD, which is not bad for what it offers.
This looks pretty dope. I might pick this up.
I am curious on the PS2 games such as
1. Jak & Daxter 1,2,3,4
2. Ratchet & Clank 1,2,3,4
3. Dark Cloud 1 and 2
4. Sly Cooper 1,2,3
Please let me know those games are in there and how they perform, Thank you very much.
I really want one for under 100$ and mainly 97-2008 games
That price might not be possible. But, if you get an Xbox Series S, you'll have enough horsepower to do everything up to PS2, in Retroarch.
You can hardly get up to late generation 5 with only a $100. New technology at that price point is probably at least a few years out.
You will get a piece of garbage that will last 1 week😊
Not happening.
It was the first generation super console x-cube tho but still
That's what I'm afraid of, spend $80 for a game system that works for 2 days and breaks
@@johnnysalazar5399 sounds pretty much like what happened to my friend only difference is he spent more than 80 he spent like 120. It was cool for like the two times that it worked and then he said it just never turned on ever again and I've tried everything about it and you can't even open them up without just shattering the outer plastic. Hopefully this new version is better
@anime master I have the knock off mini nes, it's been working good so far considering I had it since 2019, the only complaint I have is how the control buttons break off, I'll have to glue it back together
You sound like Dale Dovak from StepBrothers, and that’s not a bad thing. Love the video!
I am amazed that these rom dump devices are allowed on legitimate retailers like Amazon. You'd think Nintendo alone would have the clout to keep these things off Amazon.
Probably a downside of allowing third party sellers
Nintendo only produced so many games. This keep people interested
this is why i would rather compile my own rom set lists instead of premade ones, this saves time a bit configurating everything but that's about it tbh
4g ram is not bad at all 🙏🏽
damn 200$ it's not worth it this should be 50$
You got enough game in there for life :)
This is propably configured retroarch (graphics looks nice) + some mini itx hardware?
Everything looks really ok. I would replace pads - I guess you can just plug any usb/bt?

Imagine having a console with only all Nintendo arcade games, all Game & Watch games, all Famicom/NES games, all Game Boy games, all Super Famicom/Super NES games, all Virtual Boy games, all N64 & 64DD games, all Satellaview games, all Game Boy Color games, all Game Boy Advance games, all GameCube games, all DS games, all Wii games, all 3DS games, all Wii U games, and all Switch games!
Theres only one nes and thats the og nes! Anything else is crap!
How close are we to getting GameCube and PS2 on machines like this?
Were nearly there, cant wait for full catalog 3DO, Saturn, Jag, etc plug and plays.
Just got this pretty good and once you get hang of changing emulators to play games it's awesome
Do you happen to have the Amazon link to that screen? It looks really nice with retro games
I appreciate the fortune cookie!!
This is very interesting. Your whole business n review thing is very thorough n u r cool. Nice video thanks
Need for Speed 3DO has now become a holy grail for these systems 🙂
The game is on the list, but when you go to play it, an entirely different game comes up all in Japanese and it looks like a tile game of some sort.
So, I get that inside most of these it's basically just a Raspberry Pi, and I know companies like PCBWay can build you custom boards, but how does one go about getting the cases for these consoles made? Do you just find a plastics factory and hit them up?
A giveaway for this little system would be awesome! Thanks for sharing!
✌🏼😎👍🏼
When are we finally gonna get a machine that can run resident evil 2 n64 smoothly?
First time watcher - stayed til the end 👍 thanks for the vid...ive always wondered if we would ever have a clean, tidy dump of 1000 best games that run flawless on one of these. The delay always gets me...is that a think anymore with newer emulators?
if theres a delay, it usually means the emulator, your pc, or both needs some adjustment. usually. Every situation can be different id guess.
Yo that thumbnail! Love your hat! Rammstein!!
doesnt seem that bad id get one to replay my old psp games and dreamcast
This dude sounds like wreck it Ralph lol made it so much more awesome 🎉
I got mine couple months ago. I love it.
What's the monitor your using? Thanks! Great review
This is actually pretty decent
Awesome video!!! So are they full games on there? Or just parts
