Years passed by since the first tutorial I saw from you and I already switched years ago to Ableton, I consider myself on the pro level now and I'm still learning from you to this day haha
I use logic and I use a overdrive plug in (used for guitars) on drums to do the same thing. You also get a bit more control of the tone with a frequency control knob to set what frequency gets overdriven.
Filter drive = more knock? I guess. It’s basically just louder with some clipping that could happen depending on other channel settings / original sample volume.
isnt there a way to drag a audio clip in FL to show it in the piano roll and it separates the drums like that also? I seen it somewhere a while back. Can't find it again and figure out how its done.
for me it says "Slicing the clip region (64 bars) would result in 192 slices - but a MIDI track can address no more than 128 slices. Choose another slicing resolution or shorten the clip region" I shortened the clip to literally just 8 bars and it still shows the same message. I'm pretty new in music production so that really confused me so I'd really appreciate if someone helped me figure this out.
Finally more ableton tips thanks!!!!!!!!!!!! Not enough ableton users on UA-cam that void needs to be filled heavily
i’m late but mrbill!!!

How do you do the shift knob on Ableton
How do you save a short in a playlist

what if you extract the audio as melody or harmony and work with it as midi
could you show this for logic?
Is there anyway to save in lite?
That sounds like Sing about me, I'm dying of thirst
