I have a small montezuma shop box smallest with a impact holder they make 18ish in? I keep it in the back of my suv when you open the hatch. Shopbox has no weather seals but it was under 200 but it was a fantastic buy. My tools don't rust I have a dewalt mid torque and two 4ah slim batteries in there. It holds a mountain of tools and the secret spot behind the racks an hold entire tool rolls. It always impress people when I open it and as a general contractor I'm no mechanic but tools like that are needed (cough metric and 11/32nds). Though my model is stripped down it fit more tools when a 25in metal craftsman chest that's much bigger. My 1k beat up suv doesn't impress people (it's fine throw away truck like products are better than 100k ego machines) but the triangle box sure does!
I always thought the triangle style boxes were cool but never really fit my needs, but with the impact holder and the integrated power, it might change my mind lol. Thanks for the video. 👍🏻
Welcome! This layout is definitely an improvement over some of their previous models, it also full fits both metric/standard deep/shallow in all drive sizes which is nice. As a top box or service box on a truck or a impact specific workstation box or similar it makes a lot of sense.
They are made in China boxes (like most these days). For the build quality, price feels about right...it's a step up from the usual big box store stuff.
@SomeGuysGarage yikes for China 800 is way too much. Maybe at 600 would be better priced 🤔. I get the uniqueness for sure, good box for those that want to spend the coin.

5 years on my small shop box it holds more than boxes 10 inches wider for thr low end models you'll appreciate it overtime you open it.
i like those kit. especially someone who need buy their first tools.
