Hi, I want to thank you. I have been in a battle with cancer and after being diagnosed my wife of 32 years walked away. So I have had some dark times. But watching your videos has helped me a lot they have motivated me to get moving . So thank you you might have saved me. Keep up the great work.
Wow I don’t know how to reply , all I know is my grandfather always told me this , “ when you’ve reached the end of your rope , tie a knot and hang on “ !! God bless you and Hang on Brother . You’re a rock star 💫
Trust in God he has plans for your future. Don’t dwell on the hardships. Always look to the light and you will find it. Just like the man making this video.. you are touching and helping others even if you don’t realize it.
Yaki-suki I love your projects, your laugh and your cast. New to woodworking but slowly but surely I’m trying new things. Need to learn pocket holes. Thanks again
Man Daniel, I love these videos, especially when you just take one board such an awesome example of not needing hardly anything and being able to make money doing this. Thanks for the inspiration and please keep it up. And soon I definitely want one of those glue T-shirts?
Yaki-sugi. I want you to know my favorite part about your videos vs the John Malecki's (also a fan of his) is that they mostly do entertainment but I learn so much more when I watch you videos and since I'm a beginner you shoot to the top of my list over everyone else. Thank you
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks Also one thing I just thought of; I may be the minority but before the cutting starts maybe put a picture of what you're building? I personally like seeing beforehand so I can imagine how it's put together before actually seeing it put together
Yaki-Sugi son, the knowledge in this one is strong 💪. Hell of a simple build yet man nice. These smalls are keeping me busy in my garage. Thank boss hog
Yakisugi. Love the look when doing this technique. Especially when you get a really good char and then use a stiff bristle brush to expose the weathered texture underneath.
That sounds better. Well I’m an older bearded guy so I can relate to Bearded Viking. With red hair. We need to figure out a way to hang all our small tools from elastic strings so all you have to do is grab, use and let go.
I love watching these simple build videos. It makes me want to get out in my shop and make a huge pile of sawdust, but the thing that I can never figure out is WHERE to sell these things. I have a ton of little projects like this, but I live in Alaska and I have no idea how or where to sell any of this.
Alaska ! Well go to your locally owned businesses and start showing them the stuff and ask to leave a product and some business cards !! Tap in locally , grow your brand locally it’s what I did .
Brother Viking I'm just beginning my journey. Love watching your videos. I moved into a place that's got a 10 by 20 shed. I want to turn into a shop. Could you do a video of how you build your shop up and how you set it up. Where you put everything to make it easy access. That way I can get an idea of how to set mine up. I would appreciate it.
I am glad that I found you. Love how simple your explanations are. I also love how you use very basic tools, I have a full woodshop with all the toys. You are both a craftsman and comedian. Keep up the great work and .....add....a.... dab.....of... glue.
Yakisugi... just burn that wood... lmao.. another great video. I never would have thought to use a french cleat. Im starting to learn woodworking terminology, but by far the best is adadadaba Glue. Maybe with the tools, they'll put an apple tag or samsung tag that can help locate your tools because i need them . I constantly misplaced my tools
Yaki-suki : I dig your style bro!! Keep up the great work! I made a few reclaimed wood projects and posted them on Facebook Marketplace. I was amazed when people contacted me and actually bought some of my stuff. It's helped me feel like I can actually make some money doing something I enjoy. I have a bunch of ideas and your channel has given me a lot of ideas for more things to make and inspiered other ideas! Keep doing what you're doing. Woodworking is a lot of work to begin with, adding video shooting and editing is a whole other project on it's own. Props to you and all the work you do!

Yakisugi (& 'shou sugi ban' are interchangeable & are written with the same kanji characters. The 'ban' means plank, hence the common use of shou sugi ban to describe cladding). Yakasugi. Love the key rack. May have to do one up next weekend as a first project of 2025🎉. Have you tried the vinegar with steel wool pine stain tip? Any other tricks/tips you have tried for coloring wood naturally?
Yakisugi brother! Love the videos as always. I also love how many comments I can read on all your videos. I’m praying for your success on UA-cam to explode where this can become your main source. Blessing going into the new year!
