Seven Deadly Sins by Gary P. Gilroy

- The seven deadly sins have long been a source of inspiration for writers and artists, from medieval works such as Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy and Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, to modern works such as the film Se7en. Gary has added his name to the list with this relentless, at times even humorous narrative of SALIGIA. The fiendish, ostentatious melodies will captivate both your audience and students.

4:30 is seriously the best part of this show. I keep listening to it over and over.
Ah, Seven Deadly Sins. Our band played it last year, and it's still everyone's favorite show. The Lust submovement is easily one of the best pieces of music ever written; so fun to play, and the trombone/trumpet solo is amazing.
Glad you all still enjoy it!
My freshman year show I'll probably never forget it its one of my favorites to be honest I miss playing it
I playing it this year
Yoo dom yeah it was fun playing it
Also its jose
Let the nostalgia flow through you!
We are playing this now. It's my senior year and I get the trombone solo.
Congratulations on landing the solo-and on being a senior. We hope the season leaves lasting memories for you! Be sure to tag us in any band-related posts @gpgpublications on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram throughout the season!
1. greed/gluttony
2. sloth/envy/lust
3. wrath/pride
Y'know, at first, I thought I liked the trombone solo the most in this show, but I was listening to it more and more, and I'm a Percussionist, so I gotta say I love the percussion. Sounds great!
Gary has a knack for writing percussion parts, for sure!
Cody Richards heavy tenor and and snare, basses have so many splits
Exactly.
Not even doing the show and I still listen to it because it's phenomenal
Why thank you! We're glad you like it.

I absolutely love this show! I remember when my band played it last year, and I was on the sidelines playing the introductions because I was injured the whole season. It was probably the best show I did!
Hopefully you get to march this year-but at least you were still able to perform despite the injury!

my band did this show my sophomore year and choreography for sloth and lust was fun
This is my show this year! I think its a great show, not that I have much comparison being a freshman, but my band has 4 baritones (I'm one) and lots of trombones and it sounds really cool! The trombone solo is amazing too.

I want to play this so bad just to do the bone solo!
Does anybody know the times in the piece when a submovement/movement ends and which one they represent? Just wondering😂
it reminds me a bit of cavies 2012.

Hit or miss Brains my director thinks that his shows are the reason why we haven’t advanced to anything big

It's hard to play the mellophone part when you have only two people in your section... haha. XD
You can do it! Rock that mellophone part!
The 32nd notes are my favorite part, even though it took forever to learn! :P
It's hard to play the saxophone part when I am the only saxophone of any kind in our band
I watch anime
Is this from the anime?
