    Oh, your video was perfect for my next project! Not sure it’s going to last because I’m putting on an arm pillow. I’ll take off the pillow cover and put the transfer on. I’m so afraid it’s going to rub off but I’m doing it anyway😋. Many thanks for your tutorial.❤️

    Thank you for the great informative video! I am planning on putting a transfer on outside ends of a couch that I painted with chalk paint. Would you have any suggestions as to what I should use over the chalk paint and transfer? I don't know if I should use the spray wax or one of the Dixie belle top coats? Thank you!

    I live this idea. I was thinking about doing pillow covers. Do you protect with anything?

    Does the transfer on fabric not need a top coat of something to seal it???
    Thanks for the tutorial!

      We didn't seal it and it has held up really well. However, I have sealed transfer fabric with this spray-on wax and it works amazing. dixiebellepaint.com/waxes-glazes-and-finishes/waxes/spray-wax/?_ef_transaction_id=&oid=2&affid=14

    I love that...that piece is beautiful...I have a question...can you use transfers on lace?

    • @SalvagedInspirations
      @SalvagedInspirations  Рік тому +1

      Thanks and great questions... I'm not sure. I've never tried. I'm guessing yes but it may not apply perfectly as the lace has a little texture.

    EXCELLENT Video...
    Thank you for sharing...
    Note: the background noise/music was a little too LOUD making it hard to hear and understand you at times...
    NO need for background noise... We just want to See and HEAR YOU Talk...

    What did u seal your drop cloth or fabric wit bc I used IOD transfers & prima & had 1 crack, with large breakage lines, & the other one peeled off. I varnished in & it looked great until the next morning 😢

      I would suggest a spray on wax or waterbased wax. This keeps it protected but super flexible.

    Do you need to seal it so that it can be washed, if so, what with?

      applying a wax or spray wax works really well for protection but I don't know how well that will hold up to washing. ???

    So no top coats needed?

    • @SalvagedInspirations
      @SalvagedInspirations  3 роки тому

      It really depends on how much use the piece will get CJ. I didn't top coat because this is more decorative. But you could use a spray wax to protect for light use. I wouldn't recommend using a transfer on fabric for a high traffic item tho... like say a kitchen chair.
