Just got a 500 with a plow, I didn’t know about the suspension adjustment to compensate for the weight of the plow. THANK YOU!!!?

Bouhgt a 2012 FSi 400 kingquad secondhand less than a year ago, with 14 200 miles on it. The bike was used from new patrolling a beach north of Brisbane ,Australia , & on it's second chassis ! This bikes used on an 80 acre property that has hauled logs , some of them 260lbs ,8ft 6 long ,up 25 degree grades in 1st gear high ! This bike has no trouble taking two people with a combined weight of 528lbs (one of those facing rearward on the rear cargo rack) from one end of the property to the other in high range. It's also used pulling a 7ft wide ,height/offset adjustable stick rake or IBC with purpose built trailer filled to half capicity (132gal/500L) with pesticide. Show me a tyre that performs better than a Kenda K299 with that tread design in the above mentioned operations/activities & i will buy it !!! This tyre with pulling/pushing no doubt reduces stress/load off the clutch/box as well compared to some other tread designs. This bike starts easy in 3 deg C temperature with choke used on start-up only & engine temp light has not come on in 34 deg C heat in high humidity haulin' logs in 1 mile round trips. According to UA-cam there's 35 brands of quad bikes on the market & 225 models . My understanding is the Kingquad 400 is in the top end or range for pulling/pushing/towing/climbing steep accents/decents out of all these models. I run Penrite HPR 20/60W Diesel oil through the motor as Queensland has a tropical climate (run the same oil in a twin cam Harley as well) . The oil & air filters are K&N with NGK CR6E plug (CR7E being standard) & only run 98 octane fuel. One to one & a half quarts of oil is used every 500 to 600 miles of operation .In the secondhand market U.S. & Japenese quads are snapped up fast over here if they're not overpriced by greedy sellers. As of October 2021 this year all new quads sold in Australia must have roll over protection fitted. In relation to U.S./Japenese manfactured quads this forces buyers from here to purchase direct from offshore dealers as this law only applies if sold/bought new inside Australia ! I for one will buy several more of these bikes as my agricultral business develops.

Does the FSI option allow you to “engine brake” easier going down hills? Also can you say leave it in first gear to get more torque than the ASI version? My primary use will be carrying loads in and out of the woods for hunting and cutting firewood. I have no interest in speed. With all that in mind should I get FSI or ASI? What are the advantages of each? Thanks!

With the FSI you will still have engine braking, yes. It's just a little different than the ASI. With the FSI you will modulate engine braking using the gears, having the most engine braking in 1st gear low range, and the least engine braking in 5th gear high range.
Now with the ASI, you will have consistent engine braking at all speeds every time you let off the throttle. The only time you will have more engine braking with the ASI is when you're in low range.
As far as torque goes, with the ASI having the CVT type transmission, you will always be in the meat of the power, this is one of the main selling points for this style transmission actually. Suzuki and Yamaha have the best CVT transmissions in the industry btw, super reliable.

And I personally prefer the ASI, that is what I would recommend myself.

Sounds good! We don't currently have any of the 750 models in stock but the first one I get in I can do that for you and send you the link. Thanks for watching and enjoy your new King Quad.

It's the same as the 20 except you don't get a free winch but they do give you the solid nylon covers for both racks

I'm really considering trading my 2018 Grizzly 700 EPS in on a Suzuki king Quad 500 or 750. I has a Spirtsman 500 carb before so I'm ok with the 500 class power but I'm now accustomed to the 700 class power. I'm not super happy with some quality issues I'm having with the Grizzly.

Since you did two 500cc and under atv's in this video. How about in depth video's on the sportsman 450 and the kodiak 450.

Great Job! Is there an electrical outlet on either ATV? Also, the hitch you said takes a ball but also is acceptable to a drop pin hook-up unlike some ATVs.
