@@reneklein6049 Thanks! We started the trend many years ago with Spagetti and Meatball. We had a Flame Point Siamese, he was Parmesan. Now we have Fettuchini and Marinara . Not sure where we will take the trends of names, next :) (We also tend to misspell the pasta names to make the names unique)
The foundation looked really good on your face even at that 12 hour mark!! Oh, that darn cat fur is everywhere! I’m sure I’ve swallowed enough for my own fur ball to form, but the most annoying is that one lone fur that tickles your nose when you’re trying to sleep!! 😅 Love those fur babies!!

This foundation looks good on you as well as the shade you used! I have used this foundation about a month and love it. Very natural but with pretty coverage.

Just found your channel and oh my gosh, girl I'm in love. You are soooooo funny to watch, you have dry skin like me (thank science!!!!), and you come across so genuine, so happy, just overall amazingness. Your beautiful and I am a new sub. I am going to now binge watch some of your videos. Nice review btw, so helpful that you add you have dry skin in the title. I feel like maybe more people (and this could totally just be a YT thing or even just the channels I happen to watch), but the majority of the time the girls have oily/combo/normal skin. I have a few channels I watch that have dry skin, but they are definitely the minority. I could very well be wrong, lol, it's just seems to work out that way. Someone tell me I'm not alone lol

Welcome, Vicky! Yep studio lights make everything look nicer (as they're meant to), so I like to both get outside and get close up (can't hide from the HD close up!) to see what's really happening.

Thanks, Susan! I have not a bad thing to say - I've worn it the past 5 days, and I can even get it to not show my smile lines as much with using the Strivectin Line Blurfector on them first. It held up walking to and from my hotel in humid weather this past week at a conference, and it's just doggone good.
I think I will give this a try when it is time to replenish my foundations.

Going to take your word for it and buy some to try! I have light skin with a lot or wrinkles and pore problem!
I really like this foundation on you! I have definitely seen smile lines much more accentuated by foundations; yours look like they would look with ANY other good foundation...I wouldn't even call them accentuated. They just look natural. We ALL have them, especially we happy people! I'm really pleased with your results with this one. It didn't look too make-upy either; just the right amount, on that aspect of things. All-in-all, I think it was a beautiful make-up day for you! I saw the other video, featuring everything else you used, and love, love , love, the look you came up with; Your eyes are gorgeous! I wore this the past couple days as lighter coverage (1 pump for the whole face) and it wears well both ways! Bonus :)
If I found a foundation that would smooth over and blur my smile lines, I'd buy a gallon of it!!! By the way, I always try to guess the grade you will give the foundations you review. I was an English teacher for many years, so I'm used to grading things. I especially like it when I guess the grade you land on!!

Shelly, I really enjoyed this first impression. I think they say "premium plastic pump" because they appear to be trying to dupe the IT Cosmetics CC cream and Bye Bye Foundation with this product.
Interesting!! I will have to put them side by side - dare I say I suspect I like this better??! I don't reach for either of the IT ones very often! I've worn this the past 5 days in a row and it holds up wonderfully.
Love your deeper hair colour! It's perfect for this time of year. Ah, the never ending battle with cat hair. One of our two (Willy) is a medium hair and it gets everywhere. I missed my cats while I was in Scotland but not their fur. I went an entire year without even taking the wrapper off a lint roller. Amazing! Thanks for the review. Looks really good! Which is a surprise since almost all Revlon foundations i've tried and seen reviewed tend to look terrible on just about everyone.
I've had pretty good luck with Revlon (wearable foundations, but none have been my favorites) - this is the best one I've tried!

Thanks! It definitely ends up a bit more luminous and I really like how it looks in natural light! I wore it all week at a conference in the humidity in Houston and it still held up all day.

Well it wasn't the worst thing I ever tried. :) I think it has promise. I intend to keep trying with different application techniques. I tried it with the Revlon primer. I might try a different primer and see what happens. It settled in the lines pretty quickly but never really came apart or cracked. I think I may be over doing it with some of the skincare I'm trying. I saw a comment on one of your vids that mentioned Retinol drying you out. I knew this but didn't think I was getting enough of the product to dry me out. Going to back off on that and step up the moisture and see what happens. NOt sure how I can moisturize anymore than I do unless I dip my head in a bucket of crisco. Ah the joys of early menopause!!! Love your videos. Going to order Makeup Revolution and give it a shot.
I am excited to see this in stores. Sounds so promising. Revlon is one of the few brands that does not oxidize on me. Fragrance free too!! Might be good for my fussy skin. Oh yes, Fur Baby hair is everywhere!

Omigod, the colour of your hair in daylight is amazing. I wasn't even focusing on the makeup (except to note that it appears much darker than in your studio). You know what would be stunning? I usually do a studio photo for my thumbnail but I liked my hair in daylight so much that I used that instead 😂Yeah studio light always looks less warm than outdoor light (mostly because it was like dinnertime so the light is warmer outside then - the studio lights are daylight balanced for high noon). I was debating on the Cherry palette! I bet you're right - it would match my hair quite well! And yep I just ordered the new EL (maybe that's the Ulta box that just arrived.... I forget what order that was... and that is how you know you buy too much makeup!) :-D

I don't have a cat, but I have a Keeshond. It's like having a sheep that never stops shedding... or barking. lol I'm always fighting those long, woolly hairs when putting on my makeup.

OH..BTW..The Miss A BB Cream. You asked for my opinion. Its ok. For 1 dollar, its defiantly good. It has better coverage than some BB Creams. Not super long lasting but good for a relaxed day. Plays better with a damp sponge or fingers on my moody, particularly fussy, sensitive skin. My areas of concern are product that does not accentuate fine lines and the Elf Brush delivered too much of this product for me. I want my foundations to correct some of the ruddiness but I am not looking to hide much. The shade Fair did oxidize slightly but not in a scary, melted Orange Dream Bar, kind of way. The oxidation can be blamed on my chemistry because many of the foundations people love and have no issues with, oxidize on me. For winter I plan on mixing in a little moisturizer for no makeup days. It has a slight fragrance. If fragrance is an issue my chin always tells the tale. Did not get a bunch of tiny red bumps on my chin. (I get burning and rashes, like heat rash, on my chin, if my skin says NO. Have had more than my share of these rashes, thru the years, with products) I would say, to anybody, check it out..its only a dollar :)

Shelley, I appreciate your videos which target both dry skin and aging. Do you try these foundations over sunscreen for the wear tests? I'm finding that foundations which work well alone, aren't necessarily so good over various sunscreens. p.s. Your hair color is great!i
Hi Sandra! Yep I am wearing sunscreen under every single foundation review. (I don't leave home without sunscreen!) The sunscreen I'm wearing is listed under the makeup I'm wearing in the description box. Most of 2018 it was the Make P:Rem UV Defense Me SPF50. It wears very well under makeup.

Oooh I really rather like this! Even though it's more matte than I usually like, it doesn't sit yukkily on the skin like so many mattes do, and I really like the undertone of the shade you used (always a bonus - and woo! it didn't seem to oxidise!!!), and I'm thinking it might look really nice finished with the Milani Glow powder. And yeah, I agree, it wore quite gracefully - especially after 12 hours (and I never need that long a wear time these days). Oh yeah, I love the hair colour too!! I wonder how much this is gonna retail for here since most Revlon foundations are $40 here (that's about US$29).
Eeek I'm curious to hear what the price ends up being there! Do you get the same packaging too (in terms of quantity of product)? This one being less than an ounce is a little pricey to begin with. But doggone I am loving it. I wore it in Houston in the swampy humidity and it held up just the same walking to and from the convention center and hotel - and I forgot to pack setting spray (which I don't use in reviews but often use in my normal day to day wear - and it still held up just as long, even in the weather).
Sometimes the packaging labelling might be different mainly re: spf (we've got really strict spf regulations here and what products can claim as spf content) and we do get a pump with likes of Loreal True Match which the US doesn't, and we don't always get the full shade range with some brands, but quantities are always the same.

(couldn't resist, a nod to my younger days). i'm really pleased with how well this product performed. looked really good on you - my only concern is that while your smile lines are really not prominent - mine are. however, this doesn't rule this foundation out. blurring primer? i'll give this foundation a go. it's interesting they recommend setting powder but so nice that they were honest about it. thanks so much for giving this a try. i don't know if revlon colors are consistent from one product to another - any idea?
speaking of cat fur - i can never find a pair of pants that don't seem to attract cat fur - i just got a pair with a really nice finish, thinking "these will work out" - oh heck no. of course the black fur doesn't show up on dark colors but mr. bitz is a ginger and white tabby and i need say nothing more.

I've been putting some of the StriVectin Line BlurFector on my smile lines with this and it helps a lot! :-D and all of my clothes are covered in cat hair. always 😺
There has been a big change in drug store foundations, with color selection and they wear longer, this Revlon looks really nice on you....

I bought this today that ks girl I remembered your review when I picked it up I loved it ,also I used it with the loreal age rewind concealer you recommend as well and I like them together. but I didn't know which powder to pick up from Walmart to set it with because they were low on powders I wanted so I chose elf Halo glow setting Powder is that a good powder ????
I haven't tried that Elf powder yet. I've been having great luck with the Flower Light Illusion powder lately.
This looks pretty and dang it, now I really want the Bronze ambition palette... and Kevyn Aucoin, Safari... someone take my wallet! I give up on shade matching :) I picked up shade 3 in the new NYX and holy smokes, I looked like a mime! 😂 I think I may order this one!

I put this one through the wringer in Houston and it might be my new drugstore favorite! And wearing it 5 days in a row didn't dry my skin out at all (even though I only brought minimal skin care on my travels) - so even better!

It didn't look to be exclusive to Ulta but I don't think it hits stores until the first week of October, so they definitely had first dibs on the online sales!
This foundation was perfect when I was in Singapore and Phuket where the humidity is extremely high. However, when I returned to Alberta, Canada, where it is extremely dry all year round, this foundation cracked, settled fine lines, accentuated my pores and dry patches. Again, long lasting and flawless in hot, high humidity environments. Don't buy it for dry climates.

How does 120 and 130 compare to TF Peach in Porecelain which is my shade? Im more neutral, some yellow and some rosy in my skin. I’m so excited to try this now what a wonderful review!!!

I'll try to remember to swatch them side by side and post to my IG when I get home Sunday (I'm traveling for a conference) - off the top of my head, I think the Peach is more yellow than shade 130 (the one I wore) - similar undertone to the 120 (the one I just swatched) - but I'm thinking 120 is probably lighter than the TF Peach in Porcelain. I'll check for sure when I get home!

The MR stick scored a 96 and the Revlon a 93 :) neck and neck. I love them both! I'd probably say the stick for convenience/portability.

If your profile pic is a good level of lightness for you now I think I’d go 120. 150 might be too dark.

I don't like when a foundation accents smile lines especially since that doesn't usually happen to me or you. And then it's doing that not a full ounce thing. If I catch it 40% off.

LOL!! I don't even want to think about how much cat hair (and dog hair), I may have consumed over the years! Ugh! I'm always picking cat hair off of my eyelashes or mascara wand! I get that separation on my smile lines often with many foundations but not when I wear a powder foundation. I refer to it as foundation cracking because it separates but doesn't fall into lines so it's not really creasing, I guess. I think the shade you used looked very nice, actually. The daytime check-in looked especially good. :) Does this foundation transfer at all? I've had trouble in the past with Revlon makeup lifting and transferring with even the slightest touch. My love affair with the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara is over. :( 3 weeks into my first tube and it's now flaking all over my under eyes, cheeks and the sides of my nose. On the upside, I decided to try Maybelline's Lash Sensational mascara even though it has one of those brushes with the pokey rubber bristles. It goes on so smooth, no clumps at all and the brush glides the mascara onto my lashes very evenly. No pokes in the eye either! The biggest thing though is no smudging!!! I though this was impossible to find in a drugstore mascara. :-)
I haven't had any transfer issues - and I just wore it for a few days in humid Houston, walking around outside and long conference days and changing from dress clothes to hoodies and back - no issues at all! And I forgot to pack setting spray, so that was without any setting spray. (I don't usually use setting spray in reviews but I often wear it day to day).
That's good to know! I like Revlon's shade selection as they tend to lean cool to neutral and less yellow. :)
